Beautiful location! Access to the beach from the front door is a dream. Cozy home. Two downsides- the BBQ was unusable. I didn’t message Ed, however I could have but it wasn’t a huge deal for us. The second downside was the back door. When you park, it’s the door you enter through. It was tricky to get to close/open. Likely because it’s old. It also let in a lot of cold air. We stayed during winter so it’d just be something to keep in mind if you’re the one planning to stay in the double twin bed room. The heater in the home worked like a dream tho! Just that back area seemed much colder. Overall, great place. Exactly what we needed for our stay!

We absolutely loved the place. We actually want to spend more than a couple of days there next time and have our family come with us. We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic location, totally walkable to all the cute downtown shops. Beach access right across the street. You definitely need to bring a baby gate for the stairs if your littles are walking. Bedroom pillows were very firm. Couch had a very nice blanket covering the old flaking pleather. Loved getting to use Disney+. We’d 100% stay here again. Minor cons: heater was very loud; side tables in bedroom are extremely small and only one outlet by the bed (so if you both want to charge your cell at night, you’d have to plug in by the window); we asked for a pack n play and the automated Vacasa message acknowledged that we requested it, but it was not there when we arrived.

Great location, right on the beach. Beautiful house with ocean view, picture windows, and plenty of space. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for our multi-generation group! Tons of space for grandparents, adults, and grandkids to spread out. Super easy access to the beach (down a trail) and a workable kitchen.

Beautiful home - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did leave early as I smelled natural gas in the family room in the morning which concerned me greatly as I was traveling alone with my daughters. However, Vacasa was great about handling the issue - they said it was most likely the wind blowing the gas downward through the heat stove, but they still had it checked out by the gas company. I didn't know how long it would take to know we were safe, so as I said we did leave early, but I was very happy about how Vacasa treated my concerns. I would love to stay there again someday.

We were looking for a place to stay with friends for our trip to Astoria for The Festival of Dark Arts. We normally stay in hotels within walking distance of the event, but with a bigger group, multiple hotel rings became cost prohibitive. We weren't too sure how we would like having to drive to/ from Astoria, but we are pleasantly surprised that the drive was pretty trivial and this property out us closer to Ft. Stevens for elk viewing and disc gold, Arnie's for great food and a short trail walk to a pleasant beach with bald eagles and sand dollars. Quiet, comfortable and a nice surprise!

This house is in a great location. It's very accessible to the promenade and the beach. We enjoyed the house and the pool table in the garage!
