We loved our stay, it was exactly what we were looking for in our weekend getaway!!

This was a great location to be a bit more secluded but still easily accessible to Whiteface and Lake Placid. Enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Great spot, great hosts. Thanks for the hospitality!

Our stay at the ZaLo waterfront cabin was nothing short of peaceful and cozy. The space had everything we needed to make the most of our winter stay. We especially enjoyed utilizing the fully stocked kitchen to enjoy homemade meals and braving the cold to warm up in the conveniently located hot tub. Jon and his family were extremely welcoming and communicative. It’s apparent they take pride in their spaces and truly enjoy making experiences memorable for others.

We just love Ausable Acres, it is a rustic area but with a neighborhood feeling. The cabin was clean, well stocked and inviting to relax. Hanah communcated very well before and during our stay, and sent instructions and suggestions to make our stay enjoyable! Looking forward to staying again!

Spent a long weekend at cabin so we could enjoy a few days snowboarding at Whiteface, which was about a 10 minute drive - ideal location. The property itself was beautiful, private & quiet. The cabin was spacious & we enjoyed the comfy king size bed & open living space with wood burning stove (plenty of wood provided!) The kitchen is nicely updated & has all the cooking equipment & utensils you need for a home cooked meal. But if you’re looking to go out & enjoy the great restaurants nearby it’s an only about a 20 minute drive into Lake Placid. The hot tub was clean & easy to use, very much appreciated after a day of skiing (or hiking!) The host was so friendly & easy to communicate with & extremely proactive to ensure we had a great stay. Could not recommend this place more, don’t hesitate to book! We definitely want to come back & enjoy the cabin & property in the summer months.

We had a fantastic stay at Amy's place. The property is spotless, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Amy was incredibly attentive and responsive to all our needs. It's truly a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others!

We had a wonderfully cozy time at Edgehill Cottage with our two dogs! The fenced-in yard was a real bonus, and it was so nice to be able to enjoy the wood stove to our hearts' content. Dale was very helpful in bringing over a space heater for the bedroom when we asked for one. The furniture and bed were super comfy, and the kitchen was well-stocked. We would definitely come here again!

Cynthia was very responsive and flexible with our situation and a death in the family. Her home was perfect for the 5 of us to stay in and be in the beautiful peaceful adirondack surroundings. Thank you so much Cynthia.

I loved my stay! Shane is a fantastic host — so friendly and helpful and cool. The place is new, clean, and charming. It smells like fresh wood — one of my favorite smells, like forest aromatherapy. It was the perfect place to stay for a magical, quiet retreat in the woods. Cozy. Renewing.

Cute and cozy A-frame with plenty of room for a group/family getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the cabin, the sauna is a great touch! Very close to Whiteface and short drive to Lake Placid. How was responsive, friendly, and informative. Would stay again!

The host was very helpful and friendly . He recommended places to eat and things to do . If traveling through I would recommend it’s peaceful and quiet .

We absolutely adored this cozy cabin! It is off the beaten path (literally!) but being away from the commotion of Lake Placid but still within a reasonable distance for adventures was our goal anyway. Super kind and helpful hosts. The provided firewood was a huge plus especially coming from out of state. The wood stove kept us nice and cozy the whole week! Highly recommended

Kristy’s cabin was beautiful and in a gorgeous scenic spot with a great view of the mountains and lake. She was very quick to respond to questions , and the cabin was stocked with all the items and amenities like kayaks and comfy beach chairs that you would ever need for an Adirondack lake vacation. The location is nice and quiet and the neighboring cabins were well maintained. Just a few steps from the beach and the water was 80 degrees! A+++++ hostess and cabin. I doubt you could do better on either count.

We had a very quiet and peaceful stay, the view of the lake at sunset and sunrise was phenomenal, the cabin felt like home

We love the rustic character of the cabin with plenty of outdoor activities around (it takes about 20 minutes to get to Whiteface ski resort; about 30 minutes to Van Hoevenbrtg for x-country skiing and about the same time to Lake Placid). Close enough to Au Sable Forks to get food or necessities but far enough away to be private and peaceful. The cabin is well-loved, exceptionally clean, cozy, very functional and organised with lots of thoughtful details. Alyssa was very responsive. Would definitely return!

Being right on the water was amazing! Small space, but a good bed and it looks like the bathroom was recently redone. The outdoor shower was nice as well. Be sure to bring water shoes since the water access is both slippery and has shells. We’ll be back!

I've been to MANY airbnbs over the years. For work and play, and Michael's place leads the pack. It is just an incredible cabin in the most amazing spot you can imagine. Just a short boat ride from shore, but in a whole other world. Peaceful doesn't do it justice. It's right on the water, with access to a row boat and canoe, on a lake that is virtually untouched. We had some weather, but loved hunkering down when we couldn't be on the water. A great little wood burning stove to keep you warm and company while reading a book. A very well fit out kitchen. Comfy bed. What can I say. The place is magic. I caught 2 very nice small mouth! We will be back.

I can not say wniugh about this place, it was perfect for my son and I, peaceful and had everything we needed! I looking forward to booking it again in the future!

Beautifull view and very peaceful. The Host was very accommodating and was always responsive with all questions we had. When we go there the Host did a walk around going over everything and answered any questions we had. They also had a book of lots of food and activities around the area that was really helpful!!
