This farmhouse has been beautifully renovated for modern needs. Great laundry room and kitchen. The place was neat and clean. Deborah was responsive and communicative. It was the perfect spot for a visit to local family and more afforable/closer than the chain hotels in Lamar for our family. A few pointers - parking is on Auction Rd. The bedrooms are in the front of the house close to the main road so be sure to pack appropriately if you are a light sleeper. More horse and buggies than cars drive by, but there is some road noise in the bedrooms from time to time. There are also not stores/gas/restaurants nearby so stop on your way if you need something. Bonita's place is warm and welcoming. We appreciated all the little touches of hospitality - especially the Black Rifle Coffee. This little bungalow is spacious and had all the amenities that we needed for our 2-night stay. We didn't need recommendations on local places since we grew up in the area - but Bonita was responsive and friendly for our entire stay. We would stay here again - and recommend to friends.

Beautiful and clean home. Looked just liked the pictures. Paul was very timely with his responses and was always there to answer any questions. I will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful home. We had four families with adequate space to rest and enjoy fun. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Landon was very responsive throughout. Note: if you are coming in the winter and the roads are snowy, there is a hill that might be hard to climb if you do not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Otherwise, GREAT value for a beautiful space!!

Cabin is easy to find and was beautiful inside. Modern touches with rustic charm. Plenty of space for 2 couples. Cabin is warm & cozy and was super comfortable to come back to at the end of the day sight seeing & doing the bar trail.

We used the place to rest our heads before an early morning of ice fishing. Was more than adequate for what we needed. We loved all the bears.

Had a wonderful stay. Came for a a short getaway for peace and quiet and that was exactly what we had. The cabin met our expectations and more. Very clean cabin. Would highly recommend and looking forward to coming back.

Great stay on a snowy weekend. It was just as we hoped: cozy, with a fireplace, snowy, and quiet. Our getaway was wonderful and we wish to return again some day!
