Stayed here for a long Valentine's weekend and loved it! We had some issues getting checked in, but Vince was a great host and did everything he could to make it right. The place itself is great - the backyard and hot tub are fun for hanging out in the day, and the warmly lit living room is so cozy at night. Perfect for a couple, but big enough that we both wanted to come back with a group in the summer to try out the pool. Would gladly come back again any time !

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay here! We were displaced due to the Eaton Fire, and from the moment we arrived, our hosts made us feel truly cared for. Check-in was an incredible experience—we were graciously given complimentary early arrival, and they took the time to personally walk us through the beautiful home, ensuring we had everything we needed. This amazing hospitality continued through our whole stay. The property itself is a dream. Immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The layout was perfect for us, especially since we both had to work—the bedrooms being on opposite ends of the house gave us the privacy we needed. Speaking of privacy, the entire space felt like a peaceful retreat, tucked away yet so thoughtfully designed for relaxation. We’d return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a truly exceptional stay. Thank you for your hospitality—it meant the world to us during a difficult time!

We had such an amazing stay at Cheryl and Gian’s place. The house was comfortable and the back yard was so spacious and quiet. I enjoyed the comfortable beds and the garage was cool to hang out in after a long day hiking in the park. Thanks for sharing your home with us we will definitely be back. The Perez family.

From getting there to the moment we stepped inside the living room we absolutely fell in love with the house and best of all we felt right at home. Every space is detailed and well put together. The huge backyard was our favorite for us & our daughters because it felt safe for them to roam around since it is gated with a private fence. We enjoyed the hammocks and the smores provided. Thank you so much for hosting us. We look forward to enjoying a stay out of the city again soon.

Sam's house was perfect! There was ample space, everything was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the pool area was spacious and lots of fun, and the bathrooms were immaculate - it was perfect for my husband, my brother and sister in law, their 2 kids and our dogs. Everyone had a blast! I would highly recommend staying here. Sam's instructions were also very clear and if we ever needed anything he was quick to respond. He was extremely accommodating of our early arrival too. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Sam! We hope to be back soon.

Such a peaceful place to stay! It was exactly as described in the listing. We loved being out in the desert without any neighbors close by…so relaxing. It wasn’t a far drive to get to town and check out the local spots or get into the park. Highly recommend!

My partner and I had a great time here. The house was well maintained and we enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. The location was great and felt semi private. Everything felt clean and modern. We would definitely come back. The only items to improve would be replacing the kitchen cookware as they are a bit worn out and adding a mattress topper to the master bed as it is really firm.

Just had a few complications turning on the hot tub , but so far the place was great had so many amenities and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet will for sure plan another stay at this cabin!

I came to Desert Hot Springs for a relaxing weekend and had a lovely stay at the property. Plenty of nature, but close enough to Palm Springs. I'd stay here again!

Audrey was such a kind and welcoming host and this place had lots of personality! We were only staying one night and didn't get to use the fire pit unfortunately since it had just rained, but we had everything we needed for the night and were able to use the kitchen to cook dinner without any issues. We did notice the unit lacked a TV, which was listed under amenities in the description, but that wasn’t a big deal as there was plenty around to occupy ourselves with for our one-night stay, including star-gazing.

The studio was very cozy! It was what we needed for our Joshua Tree trip- comfortable beds, AC, kitchen, and we loved the added amenities of the pool after a long day of hiking and the deck for stargazing (the skies were clear and incredible). Thank you for hosting!

A wonderful stay! Perfect location to all the amenities and close to public tennis courts. Relatively closer to Indian wells Tournament as well. Our group of 5 tennis players had such a nice time. Hot Tub, Pool, Ping Pong Table, BBQ, fully functional kitchen! Best place ever. Will definitely come back again.

Nice little desert getaway spot - feels quite spacious and open for essentially being a singular room. Had a nice time sitting out in the outside chairs at night and enjoying the calm.

Very pleasant stay overall! Kc was very communicative and we really enjoyed the enclosed yard for our dog. The home was comfortable and met all our needs at a great rate.

SAFE, CLEAN, Quiet & SLEEPS GREAT. As a solo female traveler, safety is my first concern. I was between work conferences, and Nathalie's casita was the perfect affordable place to stay near Palm Springs. It is SO CLEAN and well stocked. The linens and bedding are high quality, and the bed is fantastic. The extra touches made me feel like I was staying with friends (without the obligation of speaking to anyone!) I did not use the pool but enjoyed reading a book poolside. I walked in the neighborhood for exercise and to the local Juice Bar and grocery store. There are a few restaurant options within walking distance, and I always felt safe. It's a short Uber to downtown Palm Springs and the Tram (buy tickets in advance; it fills up!) My favorite things were the oversized tile shower with rainfall shower, the comfy bed, linens, and towels. Equal or better than Marriott. The entry and exit instructions and Nathalie's good communication are excellent. This is a place to return to again.

I had a beautiful weekend getaway at Ryan's Cabin felt right at home the photos matched the description perfectly very repsonive host one of the major things that stood out to me was the bed in the master bedroom seriously might have been the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in also the little heater pads in the mattress were such a nice apriciated touch... the kitchen was also incredible so adorable and had everything you could possibly need heat worked amazing as well was nice and toasty the whole stay also the entire cabin was spotless I would highly recommend staying here if your looking for a cozy little getaway spot in Big bear Thanks again Ryan for an amazing vacation ✨️

The airbnb was perfect. I loved the size of the small but not too tiny cabin. It was updated and clean. Had all of the great airbnb amenities like board games, cooking supplies, tv with streaming services already logged in, outdoor area for eating and relaxing. The space gets amazing light during the day which is really nice. The bathroom is updated and a good size especially for a small cabin. The water was very hot. Be mindful that the bed is very firm so if you are not used to firm beds you may want to look elsewhere. I found the bed and pillows very comfortable but my partner found it difficult to get comfortable. The cabin is about 3-5 min drive to town on a quiet street with neighbors nearby. Overall, I would stay here again. It is a great home base for exploring Idyllwild and the surrounding nature.

Hidden Gem in Sugarloaf! Would definitely stay here again. Quaint neighborhood, quiet, and great for morning walks with the dog. You even might encounter a wild Donkey here or there. 15 min to all Big Bear has to offer. Walking distance to the country market and a local bar.

Had a wonderful time with my family! The cabin is so homey and beautiful! My kiddos got to see it snow for the first time and we are very grateful to have had the chance to stay here! Dena is very responsive and was very helpful!

Highly recommend Amy's place for your stay in Idyllwild! We were a group of 5 friends. The bedroom and bathroom setup makes it a great group place. One bedroom has one bed. One bedroom has two beds. Downstairs bedroom has 3 beds. The views and atmosphere were great. It is quiet and relaxing yet not a far drive from restaurants/things to do. We were there last week of February during a particularly cold spell so some of the previous reviews made us nervous about how potentially cold the place would be. Absolutely no need to worry. Yes, there are fireplaces (and if you'd like to use them, plan to bring your own wood) but they are mostly for ambiance. Every bedroom and living space has a dedicated and well functioning mini split that kept us comfortable and toasty. Plenty of additional warm blankets if needed. Would stay here again!

A 5-star review of our recent stay at Aliyahs Cabin in Big Bear. My wife, two kids, and I had an excellent experience. The cabin was very nice and clean. The easy instructions and check-in process made everything smooth and stress-free. We especially appreciated the convenience of having stores and restaurants nearby, and it was only a 10-minute drive to snow play areas, which the kids loved. The hosts were great, and we felt very welcomed. I would highly recommend Aliyahs cabin to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway in Big Bear!

We fell in love with this place! It is whimsical, warm and inviting. You’re going to want to curl up with a nice book in the cozy space upstairs. The hot tub is so serene as well. Also recommend going on a walk and taking in nature. If you’re looking to recharge, this is it!

This cabin was perfect for our party of eight! We were also able to check in earlier, which was so nice. The outside balcony and front yard was so spacious and beautiful. Matthews listing is the perfect place to have a fun and intimate trip with friends and family.
