We had an amazing week-long stay in Bocas del Toro! The place was just what we needed — comfortable, clean, and in a great location. Steve was a fantastic host, communicating everything we needed to know clearly and always responding quickly. He even helped us connect with a great tour company, which made our trip even better. A fun bonus was Steve’s dog, Piña — such a sweet and friendly pup! She definitely added some joy to our stay. One tip for future guests: the island does have quite a few sand flies. We learned that coconut oil is a good natural repellent — better than regular bug spray, which didn’t do much for us. If we had known, we would’ve brought some along. Overall, highly recommend staying here — great host, great place, and an unforgettable experience! The island is walkable. We went to the beach just on the other side of the island, which was about a 15 minute walk.

We had the most wonderful stay in Bastimentos! Cheryl and Mike were the nicest hosts we’ve come across on our travels and they went above and beyond to make our stay with them as comfortable and fun as possible. We can’t recommend their place highly enough and would love to return, thank you Cheryl!

This airbnb has been one of the best airbnb's we've ever stayed in. First of all, the location is pretty great, not too far from town but also far enough to feel like you are in the middle of the jungle. Less than 2 minutes from the ocean as well. We saw so many monkeys from the balcony during our stay, it was so cool! Secondly, its extremely well equipped. We had all sorts of kitchen appliances, and utensils we never even knew we needed. We had tons of beach towels, snorkel gear, big TVs, desk setting, smart toilet, reclining beds, great wifi. Lastly the hosts were extremely communicative, and super helpful with everything. I would definitely stay here again.

This little gem is absolutely magical. We were picked up in Bocas by the hosts friend and brought to this incredible place with only a 12 min boat ride from bocas. Their pictures don’t even do this place justice. The beauty is even better in person. I recommend eating the breakfast they offer. Absolutely fresh and delicious. We will be back for sure!

We loved house over the water! We especially enjoyed our very comfortable balcony to enjoy the bay, read and relax. The house had everything you needed and more, we used the kitchen, lounge areas and the rooms were comfortable with AC. About a 20 minute walk to the heart of bocas town and a taxi ride, e bike ride or water taxi to beautiful beaches all around the islands. Claudia and Marlon were very communicative and helpful hosts.

Escogí La Caribeña entre tantas opciones porque me llamó la atención el deck , las habitaciones y el poder tener salida al mar desde este espacio. Puedo asegurar que no me equivoqué. ¡Qué lugar tan maravilloso! Es un paraíso sobre el mar. Joy y Edu hacen un gran trabajo como anfitriones, están pendientes de todas tus posibles necesidades, siempre te brindan recomendaciones, y por si fuera poco tienen un restaurante hermosísimo a una distancia caminable desde el hospedaje. Son unos anfitriones tan atentos que hasta te obsequian shots de cortesía en su restaurante Ohana, fui todos los días porque la comida era bastante adictiva. Este hospedaje lo tiene todo! Usé los kayaks que se alquilan en el hospedaje y pude recorrer los alrededores de la isla. Finalmente, una lancha me recogió en el deck gracias a la gestión de Joy, quién organizó un tour para mí. Experiencia 10/10 Volvería mil veces ☺️

Janice’s place is amazing! Everything is brand new, super clean, and makes you feel right at home. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The view is incredible. There is one restaurant within walking distance. Everything else requires a boat taxi.

despite the fact that it rained 3 out of the 5 days we stayed in san bras we really liked the bungalow! the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space to hang clothes and the bathrooms seem to be very new. the kitchen is outside and with the wind it wasn't always the easiest thing to do but we managed 😊. Everyone was super helpful and Naomi even offered to wash and dry our clothes - what a service!!! 😊 The only thing to note is that you can hear the people upstairs quite well which resulted in an early wake up for me as a light sleeper. but all the positives clearly outweigh this point, hence would recommend!

Stayed with husband and two teens. Looked all over the island. Definitely the best place to stay IMO. Spacious , gorgeous views, amazing updated /upscale hang out space, pool etc. Pippa’s directly next door is a gem for breakfast lunch , dinner or drinks. Had beach volleyball net and cornhole too but wasnt a crazy beach bar. Nice vibe. Need taxi to town and bluff beach but super easy to get. Used a recommendation from Connor- Roberto, was like having our own personal driver the whole time. Just to be aware to get from the Downstairs king suite you go through the open air/ covered outdoor den to a separate staircase. Upstairs covered veranda was heaven.Not a bother for us with 14 and 16 year old but good to be aware of you have younger kids. Felt completely safe the whole time. Felt like upscale burbs out the front door but still have the quiet tropical vibe outside the back with gorgeous view of pool and ocean. The dock was great for drinks and boats picked us up for excursion
