Had a great stay at the condo, Luis helped us get our luggage to our room while we were waiting to check in and was very pleasant meeting us and showing us the property. Super clean place and plenty of room for all 4 of us. Loved the living room and balcony for hanging out, and great location to walk around and the nice grocery store right around the corner made things really convenient. Very walkable area and able to catch an Uber within a few minutes to get anywhere in town. The pool was nice and relaxing as well. Highly recommend!

No solo nos brindaron un espacio precioso, lleno de arte y rodeado de la riqueza natural y cultural de la zona, sino que también estuvieron siempre atentos a nuestras necesidades, asegurándose de que tuviéramos la mejor experiencia posible. Un gesto que nos conmovió fue su disposición para ayudarnos cuando nuestro hijo se enfermó; sin dudarlo, nos llevaron medicina, demostrando una hospitalidad genuina que difícilmente se encuentra en cualquier lugar. Además, en todo momento nos guiaron para encontrar las mejores opciones de traslado a las playas y las experiencias culturales más auténticas, lo que hizo que nuestro viaje fuera aún más especial. Este lugar es una puerta a la belleza de Portobelo en su máxima expresión: arte, historia, naturaleza y, sobre todo, el calor humano. Sin duda, volveremos!

El lugar es un paraíso para pasar una estadía relax y en contacto con la naturaleza, y a la vez con las comodidades de una propiedad muy linda, amplia y limpia. Inclusive cada cabaña mantiene su privacidad y espacio único en contacto con el mar y la vegetación. La pasamos muy nice estos días. Muy recomendado

Villa del Mar was a great house. We enjoyed the great kitchen, pool and outdoor space. The area is 20' from the edge of the water so it made access to the beach very easy when the tide was out. A few members of our group kiteboarded and really enjoyed the area. The rest enjoyed the pool and relaxing backyard. Overall, it was a great stay and we would gladly stay again.

This place was perfect for our intergenerational family vacation. It was such a luxury to have the entire space to ourselves- the pool, the kitchen and dining area, the basketball hoop, the private beach. Even though the tide was too strong to swim, we enjoyed walks on the beach, and even in the rain we’re able to enjoy the pool and playing games together (darts, dominoes, etc). Hawaii’s communication was exceptional— answering my many questions within minutes with kindness, and the onsite person was super helpful, taking us to local food spots, cutting open coconuts, and helping in any way needed. Really lovely time.

Great apartment in a magical location next to a beautiful beach! The host Jessica is very friendly, helpful and was always responsive. She communicated very well and responded to questions, and was flexible with our check-out time. Overall, very recommended!

Robert’s place was exactly as described and is a slice of paradise on the Caribbean coast. It’s close enough to local beauty spots but in a very private and peaceful neighbourhood that is right on the sea front. The pool is absolutely beautiful and great for adults and children alike. Robert was a fantastic host that made sure we had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay. I could not recommend this place highly enough. It was also the little touches that stood out to us, the fact there was salt and pepper. They made sure we had fresh drinking water even though we had brought it with us. Robert is always available without being imposing making his place feel like your own home during your stay.

We loved our stay! The house is so special. We loved the little pool overlooking the ocean. The water stayed very cool and it was so refreshing after hiking to Cerro del Cruz in the morning. We stayed as a group of four adults and found all the beds comfortable. We easily walk from the ferry landing, and we also walked to both beaches. Gricelda was so amazing and kind. Patricia was super responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Super agradable y comodo el apartamento, la vista es grandiosa, muy tranquilo, la piscina buenisima para ir con niños, el mar esta a solo pasos caminando y muy tranquilo, la anfitriona siempre pendiente por si se necesitaba algo, definitivamente recomendable al 100%

Playa Escondida is an excellent location, relaxing, designed and maintain very well. Rafa is a great host and the place is perfect. The apartment is in a perfect location, right in front of the beach, with a panoramic view. There were 6 of us and we were all comfortable, as the apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bath. We will definitely come back and certainly recomend Rafa's place. Spanish: Playa Escondida es un lugar excelente, relajante, con un diseño y mantenimiento impecable. Rafa es un anfitrión excelente y el lugar es perfecto. El apartamento está en una ubicación ideal, justo frente a la playa, con una vista panorámica. Eramos 6 petdonas en nuestro grupo y todos estuvimos cómodos, ya que el apartamento tiene 3 habitaciones y 2 baños. Sin duda volveremos y definitivamente recomendamos a Rafa y su alojamiento.

We rented Felix’s place to spend time with family. The apartment is great, pretty big and has pretty much everything you need. The beach is close by and very well maintained. The pool is also pretty close. There are many activities for kids like inflatables in the ocean, kayaks and water bikes that you can rent. There is also a small market pretty close by. It was great that the parking spot is indoors, since it rained a few days while we were there. Felix is pretty responsive, super attentive and friendly. We recommend this place to anyone and will definitely reach out to Felix again in the future

Nos gusto mucho el apartamento, espacioso y tenia todo lo que uno necesita. El apartamento tiene una vista espectacular al mar. Buen internet también! Recomendamos mucho el apartamento y definitivamente volveremos!

We stayed in the house in February , and while the house itself was very basic, the location made it a special experience. the view and the sound of the waves were unbeatable. The road in dry season was ok, just the last 7km were not that good but totally manageable. The house is simple, but given how remote and undeveloped the area is, we weren’t expecting much in terms of amenities. The beach directly in front of the house isn’t ideal for swimming as the waves were too rough, but just a 10-minute walk to the left if you face the ocean, we found a beautiful lagoon protected by the reef, perfect for a swim. One big plus was that we didn’t have mosquito issues since it was February and quite windy. Overall, my family loved the experience, and Francisco was very helpful throughout our stay. There’s not much to do here but If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway close to nature, this place is a great option!
