We had a lovely stay here. We floated the nearby Ichetucknee spring at the state park south entrance it was absolutely beautiful and perfect weather. At the campsite, we used the grill and dock where we fished a little and we spent a lot of time on all the nearby springs as well. We didn’t use the park pass that Jerry provides but now that we are more familiar with the area we probably would if we visit again. We saw the parks on our float.. very nice neighborhood and spots to put in a kayak. This property is private and peaceful.

Amazing hosts. Anything we needed they were quick to accommodate us. Felt safe and comfortable during the duration of our stay. Even helped us to river to float with the kids. My dog had the time of his life running around the open property. If your looking for a relaxing get away in the peace and quiet this is a must!

Our stay at the Haven was perfect! The house was clean and well stocked with all basic necessities. The large, fenced in yard was extremely helpful for our pups to enjoy their stay. The host was very accommodating and over all a delight to speak with. Definitely recommend!

This was our second stay at Manatee Ranch. It was as enjoyable as our first. Diane is super quick to respond to any questions. The property was as peaceful and well-maintained as before. Plenty of bicycles, canoes , kayaks, and floats available to use. We came with our grandkids again, and they had an amazing time. On Tuesday we had the entire river to ourselves! We relaxed and took a two hour float down the Itchetucknee and saw all kinds of water fowl, turtles and even a manatee! The camper set up is so easy, and there's plenty of room to pitch tents, as well. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to come back next year! This house is in a great location. Note that you are down river from the public park. We paddled up to the park and it took about 2 hours and then about 40 min to float back to the house. The kayaks were well worn so if you need a lot of frills bring your own. The kids loved the water and saw lots of fish with goggles. The house is very comfy. It doesn’t have central heat and air. We didn’t try the heat but the AC seemed to work good. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and lots of utensils. Having a grill was great also. Plenty of clean towels as well. We would love to go back soon.

we had a great time! the river was peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the covered porch. It was close to the spring and very private! will come back again!

Our second visit did not disappoint. Saw lots of deer, fish, a few small gators. Enjoyed the games at the house on a rainy day. Michelle and Jeff helped shuttle kayaks and our group up river and saved us money on renting a service. Everything at the house was comfortable and our family had a great time.
