Kimara was a great host! She was responsive, and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. The camper is cozy and very clean. The vibe is very peaceful and quiet. This place is a great getaway for someone wanting a quiet oasis.

Super thoughtful hosts - little touches to made the guest feel welcome - chocolates, flowers and a small battery candle on a bed tray, snacks, coffe selections, space heater on and warm for my arrival. The pool/hottub and yard area was lovely - was unable to enjoy it for a chilly night, but it is March after all. Minor downside is that the bathroom is on the lower level and the bedroom is upstairs, but that was clearly indicated in the description. Neighborhood is well maintained and beautiful. All questions were quickly responded to - it was a nice stay - highly recommend if you need a quiet, peaceful and convenient stay with super hosts.

This is an excellent place to stay. I particularly recommend it for those needing peace and quiet if working in nearby Lexington or Columbia.

This location is quiet, safe and beautiful. The bed is comfortable, it's roomy, nice, and it has everything we need. The one thing I would suggest bringing with you is a sleep mask. The curtains are pretty sheer and the bedroom window faces east. There are street lights that keep it from getting completely dark ever, but if the neighbor has the lights on the corner of his garage on, it's like daytime all night. The windows are nice and big, so it's hard to cover them with anything extra, but a sleep mask would do the trick.

We stayed at the Boat House for a week with our 7 year old twins. the home was clean, had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The outdoor space was nice and relaxing with beautiful unobstructed views of the lake and beautiful sunrise every morning. Tammy was a wonderful host who reached out to see if we had everything we needed and helped me with some other questions. We would reccomend the Boat House and Tammy to everyone and hope to return on our next visit.

Entrance walkway was well lit and made it easy to navigate since we arrived after dark. Place was clean and super cute. Definitely a great place for a weekend getaway by your self or with your significant other. Only thing I will say that if you are big and pregnant you can not stand in front of the bathroom sink you have to stand kinda to the side cause it’s a tight squeeze. Very comfortable bed. The dog that is mentioned to be on the property is so sweet and never barked. Definitely recommend staying here as we will stay here again if we find ourselves in the area.

Wonderful place to come back from work to relax. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Plenty of amenities to fully enjoy the outdoor space. Great host and very friendly as well as helpful.

It was a very beautiful stay. We came from Hartford, CT to see my brother graduate from Fort Jackson. We didn't have to worry about anything, there were pans and kitchen utensils to make your own food. Very warm and cozy

This place was beautiful, both inside and out! It was the perfect spot to spend a couple of nights. The hosts thought of every single thing we could possibly need to make our stay convenient and comfortable. Not only was it spotless, it was also cozy and relaxing. My husband and I relocated to the city and needed a place to stay for a few weeks while house hunting. Desi’s place was the perfect home base. Located in the Heathwood area—arguably the nicest neighborhood in the entire city—it's the ideal mix of charm, convenience, and tranquility. The location is unbeatable, being right across the street from Heathwood Park, and close to all the shops and restaurants on Devine. Desi is an outstanding host! From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home, providing everything we needed and more. Plus, he has an adorable dog named Marlin, who was a sweet addition to our stay! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re visiting Columbia, I highly recommend staying at Desi’s—whether you’re in town for a short visit or need a longer-term stay.

Joel and Giovi were exceptional hosts! Both very helpful and kind! During my stay I even learned to drive stick, and shoot a firearm! They are both military and very disciplined and responsible regarding that and in their daily lives. The unit was perfect for my parents and pets while I was evacuating. Very high ceilings. Quality hard tile floors. Classic entertainment systems. Pool table. Swimming pool. The privacy and security with a brick wall and gate helped put my parents at ease in their first Airbnb. My father now talks about renovating our house!

Elvira was so kind in accommodating us on a last minute reservation. She always responded quickly and the house was very clean. It was great having her as a host and I recommend her home for future stays!
