We highly recommend anyone visiting San Antonio and the surrounding area to stay at the Tranquility Treehouse. Our entire stay was an awesome experience. Karen and Robert were gracious hosts (they even gave us homemade cookies and local, fresh eggs), and the apartment was perfect for a long weekend stay. Bulverde is a great little town with excellent restaurants, and it is still convenient to get to downtown San Antonio. We’re so thankful we chose to stay here, and you will be, too!

Place was nice and comfortable. The deer would walk right to the back patio. Neighbors were very friendly.

Paolas place was nice and a great value for a one night stop! It has the feel of a fresh, new listing, and I’m sure will become more and more stocked with items as more guests requests come along!! She has done a great job with it, and we were very comfortable there! She was also very accommodating and responsive as a host which is priceless! We loved Allison’s place. It was clean, beds were comfortable and so were sofas. Kitchen was perfect size for two or four people. Plenty of hot water while showering plus great water pressure. I loved watching the birds and deer that came every morning and in the evening. Location was great, not too far from restaurants, gym and lots to do in surrounding cities/towns. There’s a nice trail for walking. We would love to come back to this place. Allison responded to questions quickly and so did Jody. Only one thing that could be added. An umbrella for deck. The sun too hot to sit outside on deck so an umbrella would be very helpful. Thank you Allison and Jody Maria

Great unit! Walkable to everything downtown NB, Texas tubes right next door, peaceful - loved seeing all the deer! Host was super nice and even had a crockpot waiting for us when I inquired about one!

Es una casa dentro de un zoológico. Llegaban animales al patio trasero sin miedo... vimos muchos pájaros, venados, zorros, ardillas, mapaches. Casa muy limpia, con muchos detalles. Es una casa con mucha privacidad, tranquila, dentro de un bosque. Cerca hay una laguna donde se puede pescar. Descansamos muy bien, como nunca. Recomendamos 1000% a quien busca un verdadero descanso. Mi hija ya no quería regresar a casa. Dejó un dibujo suyo como recuerdo. Fue una experiencia única, mágica… estar rodeado de naturaleza real, no de adorno. Cada día veíamos algo diferente por la ventana. No hay ruido, solo el sonido del viento y los pájaros. Perfecto para desconectarse. La casa tiene todo lo necesario y más. Se nota que los dueños cuidan cada rincón con cariño. Ideal para familias, niños, o para escaparse en pareja. Volveríamos sin pensarlo. De verdad, gracias por este pedacito de paz.

Our stay was wonderful! Jayson was an exquisite host! A great place to stay! In a very peaceful community on the outskirts of New Braunfels, but close to activities, stores and restaurants. The house was impeccably stocked with everything you could possibly need! The yard was huge would be wonderful for families with young children. There was a very nice patio with a grill for outdoor cooking. It would be a great place to stay for a trip to Schlitterbahn. There was even some old school video games, very fun. USB ports located conveniently throughout the whole house. There was no searching for an outlet to charge our devices. It was very nice. The house had all the modern conveniences. It did not lack a thing. We would recommend staying there 100%. Everything was extremely clean and organized. Would definitely like to stay there again!

Great place in Hill Country to relax and feel right at home!

This home was great for the group of us that came into town. House was extremely clean, and had great recommendations as well. House looks just like the photos and was in a great place. Would definitely stay here again. The snack box with candy was also a hit and a great touch.

The home was easy to find. The deer led us right to it! They are everywhere in the neighborhood and we loved it! It was peaceful, great for walking, and had some pretty scenery. Perfect location to multiple parks and lots to do, while still feeling secluded and hidden away for quiet evenings. They had a well-stocked kitchen supplies, a perfect back yard, grill, and games for the kids 😊 Our kids loved their bedrooms. We enjoyed the time we spent here, love this area, and cannot wait to come back! The hosts were kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay!

We really enjoyed this house very much. We stayed here for its proximity to Whitewater Amphitheater, it was only 10 mins away and so easy to uber. We visited New Braunfels and some other surrounding fun places. Everything was exactly as described and the arrival directions were easy to follow. I’d like to make note that the bedrooms had very comfortable beds and the bedsheets were so soft. Would definitely rent again when in the area.

The wildlife (mainly deer, but also a fox) were everywhere and very inquisitive! The yard is beautiful and well lit for hanging in the hot tub. We had everything we needed and more! Would stay again.

It was a perfect escape to be at your home with access to the river, pool and jacuzzi that stayed open til 11pm - just what the family needed!

Great clean spot right by the river and all the amenities of Gruene. It is a bit weird because it’s 2 completely separate apartments which I thought were connected. You get 101 and 102 and they are Nextdoor but not connected

Angela's place was exactly as described and made for a wonderful stay. The location was our favorite part—so many birds and deer that we ended up having breakfast on the balcony in the morning. The entire complex felt safe and really relaxing. Angela has been a fantastic host, extremely responsive with clear instructions. My family and I agreed that we would 100% stay here again when we come back to Canyon Lake. The only minor issues we noticed were that there could have been a bit more toilet paper stocked, and in the master bedroom, turning off the light switch also cuts power to the outlets. It wasn't a big deal; we just charged our phones in the living room while we slept. I wanted to bring it to your attention for future guests. Thanks again for a great stay! ☺️

The place is great with plenty of space for 6 people. The living room/main room area was very spacious and we never felt crowded. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the balcony and heard over a dozen species of birds with a beautiful view of the very large lawn. The property is on the river but is so incredibly quiet. We really enjoyed paddle boarding and wading in the water and fishing. Recommend taking fishing poles and live worms, you’ll catch lots of bass. Also recommend taking inner tubes because there’s a great little rapid on the river that we had a blast going down. The water was incredibly clear too. It was easy parking wise and a short trip to Gruene. We will be back!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist super geräumig und so hübsch eingerichtet. Alles passt zusammen und vermittelt ein angenehmes “Lake-Feeling”. Es ist alles vorhanden und man kann dort eine angenehmeZeit verbringen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Gorgeous location, wonderful condo—very clean, comfortable beds, awesome kitchen! Loved watching the birds and deer from the balcony chairs. Very peaceful! Great communication and easy to find and check in. Right by the river and easy walking distance to everything in Gruene! Can’t wait to come back and stay again. Thank you!

Amazing place we truly got blessed with this place. We stayed here for a month did not want to leave. Everybody was so friendly down to the deers in the backyard. Our fur baby even made friends with the animals that would come up to us and eat the deer food out of our hands that Roy supplied for us. I highly recommend this place very clean and very peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Roy and our neighbor for making our stay a blessing. God bless you all.
