We have no complaints whatsoever. The cottage was immaculate and exactly as the photos indicated. It is very well appointed and everything worked well. Obviously a lot of thought has been put into furnishing and decorating the cottage and it shows. The surroundings are just beautiful and, during inclement weather, we were able to enjoy the view of the stormy ocean. Robin immediately answered any contact we made with her and she was pleasant and friendly. We wanted for nothing. There are opportunities to take walks from the cottage without using transport and the scenery is wonderful.

Heidi's place is absolutely wonderful. The house is ideally situated in the quaintest part of Courtenay, has a large backyard, and is extremely well-appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house had all the amenities we needed for our stay in Courtenay. It's obvious that a lot of thought and care has been put into this little house. Everything was impeccable. Highly recommended!

Our stay exceeded expectations. The photos accurately reflected the space, in some cases actually downplaying it, and the furnishings were good quality and very comfortable. Kelli was responsive, friendly, and did a fantastic job supplying the house with everything you might need. This was easily the most I have felt at home in an AirBnB. One downside is the water, as a bunch of city-folk we did find it quite smelly (showers primarily) and did not like the taste, but we brought in our own water to drink and cook so this was honestly a minor issue we were prepared for. I could go on for days but it was an amazing weekend, we will definitely be booking again.

Every part of our stay here was so lovely. We started with an effortless check-in process. Everything felt so seamless, private, and peaceful from the moment we walked onto the property. The covered patio with the fire pit with breathtaking ocean views was such a relaxing touch to enjoy in the rain. When we got cold, we hopped in the hot tub (again under cover)! The fenced in yard made bringing our pup so easy! Next time we’ll be sure to use the sauna they have on the property. It looked magical! The place itself is huge and so cute. Multiple bedrooms, a sectional in the living room, a big dining room and kitchen. The soaker tub in the bathroom was a highlight for us. We will absolutely be back! Thank you!

Stunning place literally steps from the ocean. Clean, comfortable, the attention to detail in stocking the kitchen with all one needs to make a fabulous meal. Our only wish was a fire table on the deck. We loved our stay!

Wonderful location. A bit hard to find as it’s right off the highway and house number is on house which is set back from the road. Driveway is a bit tricky if there are other cars there. Beds were very comfy and lots of space for everyone! Can’t beat the views and so awesome for the kids to play on the beach

To say that we enjoyed our stay at Happy Vista would be an understatement. The amazing view, the proximity to the water, the wildlife, sunshine, and the quiet were wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes and little extras. The beds were very comfortable. Jen even had books and games available to enjoy. There are so many things to do and places to see in the area that are easily accessible by car. After our time there, we felt rejuvenated and we would gladly go back.
