Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

AvantStay was great to work with. Great communication up to and thru the stay. The cabin was immaculate and looked just like the photos. The in-house signage was super helpful and we felt right at home in no time. I'll definitely use AvantStay in the future.

The house was clean, spacious, and exactly like the pictures! It was a wonderful experience with a wonderful host!

This place was perfect!! We had 4 families and there was plenty of space. The view of the lake was beautiful and it had so many comforts of home. We will definitely come again. AvantStay was so responsive if we had any questions!

6 of my girlfriends and I stayed comfortably here. There was plenty of room to sleep and get ready (we do wish there was a full length mirror as a group of girls:)), big kitchen, fireplace (tons of firewood), and hot tub. Plenty of room for us to cook meals in the kitchen and still be all together. The outdoor spaces (front and back) provided plenty of space for all of us as well. Matt was super responsive and accommodating. I would recommend this place if you are wanting a cozy home outside the city.

The one comment that Ken didn’t have bug spray and he got a one star or a two star review is honestly laughable because that is about the only thing this guy does not have when you talk about a host that lays out step-by-step instruction on what may be helpful around the house. He has every thing you need to make it home. This is a place where you can get out get away and still be 30 minutes from Charlotte and Mooresville is one of the affluent areas of all of Charlotte so there’s plenty to do a very nice uptown area. The guy has literally anything you can think of that you would need to make your stay more accommodated he thought of it and he put it down or has it for you five star no question

We had an amazing stay! It was private enough but also a lot to do. The views were great and it was an overall relaxing trip for everyone that came.

Diane was a great host! While we were staying at her lovely home, our home in Florida, also an Airbnb, flooded in Hurricane Helene. Diane was so understanding and worked with us. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short to mitigate the flood aftermath, but we would love to return on the future. What a great home and host!

This was our second trip to Christy’s place. That should tell you everything you need to know. It is super clean. Beautiful and remote but all the comforts of home. Great property!

We had a wonderful stay. Host were very prompt in coming to our rescue when we turned off heat and ciuldnt figure out how to gurn back on... lol! Very appreciative for the opportunity to view your amazing lifestyle. Thank you for accepting pets! The dogs enjoyed the varied smells.

The place was wonderful! Exactly what we were looking for while visiting the area. Close to great restaurants and the airport. The neighborhood felt like I was at home, nice and comfortable. Loved our stay here, and John was very helpful if we needed anything!

Robin and John's place was absolutely amazingly beautiful and peaceful. Robin was a gracious host... thoughtful, kind, considerate, responsive. She added many special touches to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Robin and John are the best hosts we have ever encountered in our many years of staying in airbnbs. They truly understand the meaning of hospitality and they obviously put much care and pride into their cabin home. We cannot wait to return!

Alicia & John were lovely hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. There were extra towels & washcloths for our family of five. Lots of great info in their guest binder. Covered pier was an amazing place to spend mornings & evenings. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property location was perfect on the Lake and close to Restaurants and shopping. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and highlights of the area.

We loved the quiet area and all the extra things the place offers like the gym is open 24/7 and laundry too. We would love to come back when the weather is warm to enjoy the paddle boat and kayak. The place is just like the pictures shown and is so cozy and relaxing. We loved the bathroom.

Samantha was very responsive, took care of any issues right away. The cabin is cozy and cute. We were allowed to use the boat dock so that was wonderful, its a bit of a hike up and down to boat but worth it to go out right on the water from your back yard. The new ac/heat both worked great, the beds where nice and there is plenty of linen. The kitchen while small was well stocked and clean. There is a fire pit, a charcoal grill and an inside fireplace although we didnt use any of those they are there as well as two sup for guest use. Although the cabin is well taken care of and we were even there for regular pest control services the yard is wooded and across the street from the state park also wooded so best not to be too squimish about spiders you will see a few. The state park is just across the way for nice hikes from 1/2 mile to 5 mile hikes all on the water so that was very nice.

I had an issue at check in and Carolyn was delightful and extremely responsive in helping me get it resolved. We accidentally left some important items and she also helped us get them shipped back to us. On top of how beautiful the lake and the property is, it was a wonderful stay!

The cabin is comfortable and very clean. It had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and linens clean. The location is nice surrounded by trees and a small creek. My only complaint is that we thought the cabin would be more secluded. It is literally in the back yard. We could see into their home. However, we closed the shades and it felt like we were alone. Cute porch overlooking the woods and creek. Screened in with rocking chairs. Great stay overall for a quick weekend getaway with the spouse. Lots of restaurants within 15 minutes.
