Best Airbnb stay we have had ! Catherine/Kevin were great at communicating all about the check in and they were super flexible. When we arrived they had a care package for us with cookies and wine and a frozen pizza and a bundle of turf The hot tub was as a great addition. 3 minute walk to the local pub with trad music and great food ! This place is a true gem - we are definitely going to come back !

Limekiln Cottage is so unusual, it's hard to capture. An old cottage uniquely situated on a river, the river practically runs under the house. Oodles of room. We went for Christmas and the cottage was decorated with a beautiful tree and lights.Highly recommended. Also Andersons Boathouse restaurant in Killybegs also worth a visit.

A wonderful 2 night stay at Mollies Cottage. The most ideal getaway when looking to escape from the world for a few days and take in all Donegal has to offer. The cottage itself was stunning. Everything you need for a memorable stay. The hot tub outside is a lovely touch, cold windy night in February it took 4-4.5 hours to heat the hot tub using the outdoor stove - yes it took some time (adding fuel every 30 mins) but it was 100% worth the wait. Slieve League, Narin/Portnoo and Dooey Beach were personal favourite spots. The Rusty Mackerel at Slieve league offered the perfect Irish pub with open fires and great hearty Irish food with fantastic Guinness. Dooey beach might be the most tranquil beach in Ireland. A little off the beaten track but well worth the drive (12 mins) Can’t recommend Mollies Cottage enough. 10/10 all round. Owner very responsive also which made our trip even better. If you get the chance to book this property don’t think twice and make it happen.

My husband and I are just home from a weekend at the lake house ❤️. It was perfect just what we needed. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so peaceful 🥰. The hot tub was so nice to just relax and forget all your trouble even just for a while. Peter was so helpful when we asked him anything. Thank you so much Peter and we can't wait to come back. Ricky’s place was wonderful from the moment we got there, we had a peaceful time, and with the shops only 10 minutes away, was able to have everything we wanted easily. Ricky was a great host, really quick to respond and helpful as anything.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Red Bridge Cottage. We booked this as a family weekend away, before my girlfriend and I move to Australia in the coming weeks and it couldn’t have been a more perfect place to spend the weekend together. The cottage was secluded, cosy and had everything we needed for a few days away. Mairead and Hugh were fantastic hosts, with prompt response times and great suggestions about what to do in the local area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We had a lovely relaxing 3 night stay here. The cabin was beautiful and the surrounding area was lovely and peaceful. There was plenty of walks we took our dog on that was just a short drive away. The hot tub was the best part of our stay. Easy check in, the host Barry was friendly, responsive and gave clear instructions. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The hosts were fantastic. This was our second time back… will return again. Everything was just perfect. Stunning views, beautiful cottage, peaceful and so near Clifden.

If I could give Audrey 6 stars I would! The cottage was cosy, clean and we had everything we needed. Audrey was welcoming and spent time explaining things, telling us about the surrounding area and ensuring that we were comfortable. I hope to visit Riverstown and Audrey's cottage again one day.

Beautiful cottage, stunning views from every window. Warm, cosy and inviting. Really comfortable living space and great size kitchen to cook in. Very welcoming including welcome gifts including bubbles, cake and flowers, making you feel special. Would definitely come again

Noreen was a great host and very friendly. Any questions we had before booking she was extremely approachable and gave great recommendations when we arrived. The location is absolutely beautiful, very rural which is what Donegal is all about. The views of the mountains whilst sitting at the table outside for a coffee was the view I needed after Christmas week. Ardara centre about 10 minute drive away with a vary of different bars and food places to tickle your needs. Will definitely consider booking again in future.

A wonderful place to spend Christmas! The cottage was lovely and warm, very quiet and one of our guests who is a professional chef said the kitchen was one of the best equipped kitchens he had stayed in!

Williams place is totally idyllic. It's secluded and peaceful, yet not far away from a whole host of things to see and do. William was a very attentive and helpful host. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

The cottage was lovely and homely with stunning views, not in many places you can look at the sheep and ocean from your bed. The cottage was nicely decorated, with nice little details all around and you have almost everything you might need starting from iron and ironing board ending with milk frother. Teresa also answers very quickly and has put together a nice information book to give you a super start for your stay. We also enjoyed the DVD collection and board game selection.

We’ve been traveling Europe for 6 months, and this was our all-time favorite stay! We got to spend Christmas at the cottage, and Pat and Mary made us feel right at home. We were greeted with scones and fires and Christmas decorations, and both Pat and Mary went out of their way to look after us and provide wonderful, local recommendations. We enjoyed visiting them at their bookshop-cafe and getting to know them throughout our stay. The cottage is incredibly cozy - comfortable beds and couches with two, large fireplaces - and the location itself was ideal. The kitchen is very well-supplied, and the showers were always warm. We could get into Galway city easily, or head deeper into Connemara to explore the Irish landscapes. Oughterard is a lovely town, and it had great restaurants and grocery shops and (of course) the bookshop-cafe! Highly recommend!

This cottage was the perfect place for a chill weekend. It was quiet, cozy, warm, and in a beautiful area. Highly highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get some rest and get away from normal busy life. We had a great time and the nearby town Manorhamilton has some great spots for food.

I booked the cottage at very short notice for a family funeral so I hadn’t read any of the reviews. I was a little anxious on arrival as what should await. However I was pleased to find that it was a really cute cottage with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The cottage was immaculately clean with everything that we needed. The cottage and surrounding area was beautiful even in the depths of a cold and snowy winter so I can just imagine that it must be really gorgeous in the spring and summer and I hope that we can return to see this. Many thanks to Catherine for allowing us to stay in her lovely home.

Fantastic night spent at Mary and Declan’s. Only complaint is we didn’t still for extra night, which we definitely next time. The scones were delicious in the morning with the pot of tea. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a base for hiking around the wonderful west coast. Mike

Am avut o ședere foarte plăcută in casa lui John. Locatia din zona rurala retrasa cu foarte multă liniște și intimitate, exact ce aveam nevoie. Casa are toate utilitățile necesare, practic a fost ca si acasă. John este o gazda foarte receptivă si raspunde foarte repede oricăror nevoi/solicitari.

Niall and Inez were wonderful hosts. The farm was beautiful and very peaceful. We stayed for 10 days and got to enjoy all the beautiful aspects of the farm; walking trails, petting the horses and enjoying the peacefulness. The cottage was perfect! Very comfortable and felt like home. We enjoyed making a fire in the evenings and cooking breakfast in the mornings. We even made blackberry jam with blackberries from the farm and Inez’s recipe. The cottage we stayed in slept four; we had one couple and one single person and it was plenty of room. We felt very safe while staying on the farm. We utilized the laundry and that was very convenient. We rented a car to get around and enjoyed many local restaurants, coffee shops and castles. Niall was very responsive when we had questions or needed anything. When we arrived he gave us a quick tour of the farm grounds and cottage pointing out where things were. The farm is a must stay if looking for a peaceful place to stay.

A Nature Lover's Haven Our stay near the Cliffs of Moher was a delightful experience. The accommodations were comfortable and cozy, nestled amidst breathtaking natural scenery. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the Irish countryside. If you're planning a road trip through Ireland, this is a decent layover.
