One of my all time favourite airbnbs! The most beautiful location and cottage with gorgeous decor, felt right at home instantly. Finola and John were superb hosts, so kind and friendly and made our stay outstanding. If you love nature and the peace and quiet - this is the perfect spot for you. I was sad to leave!

Just back from an amazing family Xmas holiday at this wonderful house arrived to a beautiful Xmas tree in the living room area and blazing fire and a very welcoming Xmas hamper . The house was spotless and three of the four bedrooms downstairs have beautiful very spacious modern en-suite bathrooms with great showers .. two bedrooms upstairs share a very large bathroom with bath and separate shower unit .. dining room area is stunning with seating for 10 and the kitchen is very well equipped with a fab cooker ..this property has lots of space in a beautiful rural setting and John is most accommodating, would highly recommend for family or group getaway .. great rural walking path on the doorstep ..really peaceful a great find. we couldn't recommend this fabulous accommodation enough. It is set in beautiful surroundings with spectacular views. The property is everything you need and more. The rooms are all excellent and we had a choice of relaxing spaces to chillout in. Fantastic location with great space both inside and out. We met John who was lovely to chat to and pointed us in the right direction for activities to do etc. We will definitely be returning 😊

The place is fabulous and spotless. The surrounding is peaceful and relaxing yet with stunning views. It has everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay. Clodagh is very friendly and helpful.

A comfortable house in a stunning location. Amazing views of the sea and Clare island. We saw dolphins in the bay and enjoyed watching the sun set each evening. Near lovely beaches and super easy to take a day trip to Clare Island which is lovely. The house is well equipped and spacious. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Deirdre’s place was lovely and so was Deirdre. Only thing wrong was we didn’t get to stay longer. Unfortunately, we only had a flying visit this time but determined to come back again for a proper stay and try out Deirdre’s legendary cooking when we’re back in the area again. Many Thanks to Deirdre for her hospitality and look forward to everyone coming back again for another visit.

I have so much gratitude for having had the opportunity to stay at this home. It exceeded any expectations I had. We were a large group of adults, we all had our own space if needed and the having the big rooms to gather as a group made the stay priceless. Breakfast in the kitchen in the morning, dinner in the dining room and gathering in the front room after the pub with a fire made every day special. And the caretakers are absolutely lovely, made us feel at home and were available if we needed them and answered any question asked. Thank you for maintaining such a wonderful home that feels so welcoming. There is such a beautiful energy throughout the home and the grounds. We all enjoyed our stay immensely, sincerest thanks to you, Sara and Nigel for four magical days and nights.

Beautiful, peaceful home in pristine surroundings. Plenty of room to spread out with our group of 8. The child in our party was delighted by the playground by the lake-zip line, swings, treehouse and trampoline. The weather was cool and rainy and Adrian supplied us with plenty of wood to keep the fire blazing. The house is modern yet cozy and the kitchen well supplied.
