My husband and I had a great weekend stay at Lakeside Landing. It was conveniently located near Foxwoods. We thoroughly enjoyed a more quiet setting for some relaxing for a childfree weekend. The house was super cute and offered everything we needed. It was nice to hear peepers at night and enjoy the night sky from the hot tub.

Place was amazing! Had a comfortable and peaceful stay. Is a beautiful home and close to everything that is needed. Loved how private it was and how clean everything was. Highly recommend.

What an awesome trip! The cabin and backyard was beautiful and we loved the hot tub. We recommend visiting Kent Falls and Craft Kitchen and Bar. Overall totally worth every penny and would love to visit again!

I was on the hunt for a cabin in the woods and finding Williams place was a dream. It’s 15 minutes from Torrington but you feel like you’re more isolated. It was perfect for my husband’s birthday getaway. William is friendly, helpful and responds quickly. He even gave us a late check out time. The house has amazing antiques and interior. I’m sure he sourced from several of the local antique and flea markets in the area.(Don’t forget to hit an ATM prior to going antiquing) He has a book in the cabin with a ton of local recommendations. We mostly just kicked back and relaxed at the cabin. Soaking up the sun in the hot tub outside next to a lovely bustling river/creek in the back yard. It was a bonus given I have a bad back and it was a little tough adjusting to not sleeping in my own bed. We have already decided to book this place for our anniversary. Thank you again for hosting us and we can’t wait to come again!

I and my 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at Michelle's cottage. It was a great location, close to everything I needed such as shopping, church, family and friends. The surrounding area was beautiful, and very dog-friendly. There were many people daily walking their dogs in the area. I felt very much at home there and the large bed was very comfortable.

Henry’s place easily fit the needs of our group (three families with little kids) and had plenty of bedrooms for us to spread out between. We appreciated the large couch / living room area which was large enough for us all to comfortably sit. It’s a quick drive to the town of Kent which was very cute to explore (and lots of good places to eat!). We have friends in the area and would definitely book here again for a return trip. Check out was a breeze and we greatly appreciated not having a long list of to do items like other Airbnb’s.

I didnt want to leave this little cabin in the woods. It felt rustic but had all the modern amenities you would expect in a home. From the rocking chairs on the porch to the comfy beds, there is nothing I could complain about, even if I tried. Marilyn gave excellent suggestions of places to eat and local current events. We left with fall apples, bellies full of clam chowder, and gigantic smiles!!! We have already started planning our return!

Very cozy cabin with everything that you need for your stay. Lois was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Jessica’s cabin was perfection. We visited during a sunny fall weekend and spent the whole time outside canoeing, playing croquet, and sitting by the fire-pit. Then we moved inside to hang out by the fireplace inside. It is a lovely, private spot and comes fully equipped with everything you need.

Phillip’s cabin in the woods is heavenly! It’s so beautiful and comfy and cozy. Phillip was such an extremely nice host. He called us before we checked in to explain everything we needed to know about the house. He was so kind and gregarious. My boyfriend and I booked his place at the last minute for a quick getaway for our birthdays and Phillip let us check in and out early as a birthday gift which was so generous of him. We will definitely be back. We felt as if we were in a little slice of mountain heaven!

What a gorgeous place! As other guests have noted, the photos just don’t do it justice. October is the perfect time to sit on the dock with some coffee and take in the fall foliage.. The house is super cute and well appointed, I think it might be the best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Lots of lovely plates and glasses and festive little napkins and towels. This was a mom/daughter girls weekend, and everyone was impressed with the toiletries in the bathroom. The house was super clean and the beds were comfy, we can’t wait to go back!

This was our second year and can’t wait until next year!

Michael and Beth were superb hosts. From the moment we arrived to when we left, they made us feel as if we were family. They are absolutely wonderful people! Their property is beautiful and perfect for nature seekers. There’s a lot to do around the surrounding areas and they were super helpful with giving some awesome recommendations. The cabin is awesome and very clean. It was a great family trip with our 2 little ones (2 and 1 yrs old) highly recommend this spot!

I must say visitingKara‘s place was an amazing experience like none other before. The house is literally right off the water. It’s a very comfortable relaxing place to stay very clean very spacious. Everything that you know is going to be right there. There’s nothing like having a cup of coffee first thing in the morning and sitting by the they also do have hiking trails nearby, and the local restaurants are great. This is a I will never forget. I’m definitely coming back. This is 100% a hidden gem.

Cozy and peaceful stay! It was an especially great place to stay while traveling with our dog. Michelle was very helpful and always responsive. Beautiful location with lots to do nearby.

The place was beautifully furnished in every aspect possible. The indoor fireplace was very nice to use. We can tell how much attention to detail Keith put into the cabin. The kitchen was nice and cozy, and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that was inconvenient was the limited hot water per each shower.

The perfect stay! My toddler and I stayed here for a few nights and it was lovely. Spotless and peaceful. We loved walking over to say good morning to the goats, and walking into town to for coffee and croissants. Sam was a very responsive host. Will return!

This place is perfect. Spacious home w beautiful bedrooms, extremely close to Foxwoods and the gorgeous, secluded property will make you feel like very relaxed and at one with nature. We especially enjoyed the star gazing !
