Chris was a fantastic host! First of all he was so responsive, always checking in on us everyday, and very helpful and communicative with recommendations and quick answers. Second of all, the property. It is so gorgeous. Definitely worth the price, and maybe even better! We loved our stay, we will definitely be coming back soon. Definitely check it out if you’re considering an Airbnb in the area. 10/10 experience!

Sweet Dotties Cottage was better than expected. It was right on the water and even had a dock for our boat. It was very clean and exactly as described. The screened in porch was great at night. I highly recommend and will be visiting this property again.

It was Very Great, calm, quiet. In our stay, the guests upstairs were very friendly, even during after hours. The vast land in the backyard was very enlightening , came across a couple of the friendly and nosy neighbors (The Deer😂 🦌). Overall it was very clean & i loved every minute of it.

Very charming home, exactly as shown. We shared the home with another family for a ski weekend at mohawk (15 minute drive).. The home is so family friendly, has lots of games and even a crib/booster for the kitchen. The two living rooms with TVs are great (one for the kids and one for the adults!) Clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Paul is super responsive and was very flexible on check-in /check-out times. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

A perfect way to disconnect and find peace. I wish I knew about Sticks and Stones sooner. The location is perfectly tucked away in the woods, with beautiful views and lots to explore. The staff are very friendly and easy to get ahold of if needed. I cant wait to spend another weekend at Sticks and Stones in the near future!

Spent a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at Travis' place with my husband and two young daughters. The house is beautifully appointed and so cozy. We played games by the fire, watched a movie in the cozy tv room, and made and enjoyed lovely meals in the kitchen. The house is even more magical than it looks in the photos, and we certainly hope to be back.

Such a cozy spot!! A warm cabin nestled in the woods with a gorgeous lake, kayaks and canoes, and a waterfront sauna that is absolutely heavenly. Angela was super responsive and kind, and we hope to be back soon!

Our stay was very peaceful and quaint. We loved the cows and the staff was very friendly and informative. A very cute little store on site. The sunset was to die for and the home was clean and had plenty of amenities. We would recommend this stay for a nice unplug from daily life for anyone who loves the quiet. Our host was very responsive! Thanks for the great stay.

The house accommodated four of us very well. Three bedrooms and two baths worked great for us after a long wet day of cycling. Nice living room, kitchen, and dining room with extra rec room downstairs. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The bedrooms were of good size.

What an incredible home! Our family stayed for 3 nights because we had a wedding in the area. It was perfect. The home is gorgeous and historic while having modern updates. The property is expansive and beautiful and the hosts are super friendly and flexible. We are hoping to get a chance to get back there at some point. Everyone in the family loved it!

I had a great weekend at Robert's Silo. He was an awesome host with a unique stay. The surounding area was also nice, I was able to go on a couple hikes in my short time here. He also brought me some delicious pears from the farm. Overall I had a nice time.

Mara and Ross are wonderful hosts, very caring and helpful and lovely. Everything about our stay was perfect and super comfortable. There are very thoughtful touches throughout the house. The location is perfect - it's quiet and beautiful yet close to busier locales like Mystic. Five stars.

Stayed with my best friends from Hotchkiss as a little sweet reunion—adorable house, super clean, and fantastic location. The sweet Williams pastries for breakfast were the sweetest touch! Really a wonderful place to stay.

This rental unit is a standalone guest cottage on a working horse farm. We enjoyed waking to the roosters each morning, walking the one mile wooded loop trail every day, and warming up by the fireplace in the evenings. Dino is highly responsive and service-focused, and the on-site caretaker, John, is helpful and kind. John introduced us to a new batch of chicks that just arrived on the farm at the start of our stay, and we were able to follow their growth during our 9 days on the property. This location is very convenient to both Ridgefield and Danbury, while retaining the peaceful feel of a working farm. It's a great spot for anyone with the need or desire to visit the Ridgefield vicinity, or others just looking for a relaxing location to decompress. We hope to return next time we're in the area.

Darilyn and Dermot were exquisite hosts and the space was superb — spotless, thoughtful touches, absolutely everything our family of 4 could need. It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful area with such lovely hosts - hard to imagine not coming back here. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for some peaceful time away. Simply lovely, a wonderful experience all around.

The River Barn exceeded my expectations. Everything is well thought out. Lots of extra touches. The kitchen is stocked with quality tools for any possible cooking need. Espresso pods were provided, wonderful selection of teas, an entire spice rack, oil and vinegar, etc. Bedding and towels were top notch, mattress very comfortable, lots of hot water for showers. We didn't utilize the backyard as it was winter, but it is a good size for warmer weather activities. What we did utilize to its fullest was the wonderful fireplace. The couch in front of it seats deep and is solid and restful. The record player, with a great selection of albums, sets the mood. An able place to while away a lazy February afternoon, then stroll into town for a dinner at the historic Griswold Inn.

Coziest place imaginable. Tons of places to congregate, walk, eat and sleep. Wendy is always responsive and a joy to communicate with. We will keep coming back as long as they will have us

Richards space was perfect for a girls weekend! Plenty of beds, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed to make full, big meals. Plenty of space outside to run around with the pup. Really couldn’t have asked for more! The pictures truly don’t do it justice.

Had a wonderful long weekend escape at Jean Paul’s. Hosts were very communicative. The house was great for spending an afternoon in front of the fire whilst the kids ran around in the snow outside. Thank you for a great stay.
