Such a beauriful, quirky accommodation - i loved it so much! Hosts were reaponsive and respected your privacy. Definitely a place worth visiting more than once :)

Maxine is an incredibly friendly and welcoming host, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out, and we truly appreciated its unique character and charm. It was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need, along with clear instructions for the washing machine and dishwasher. We enjoyed several cozy days by the fire when we preferred to relax indoors. On the days we ventured out, we discovered many lovely nearby beaches and National Trust sites to explore. I wholeheartedly recommend booking Maxine's cottage. My experience, from the initial booking process to our stay, was entirely positive. If you are seeking a peaceful, traditional cottage that offers modern comforts, I believe this is the perfect choice.

We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

We loved our stay, it was the perfect place to stay for a lovely catch up with friends. Great location, remote enough but not too far from lots of places to visit.

Really lovely stay, house was immaculate, lovely scenery and plenty of space outside for the kids to run about. Hottub was a great size and was a nice extra. Area was peaceful. Only thing I would say is the road to the house is quite bumpy and there are potholes, so just be careful driving down. But apart from that, it was perfect.

We had a lovely long weekend at The Barn. Quiet and peaceful spot but we were still able to walk in to town. Lots of space, comfortable and cosy.

It was without doubt one of the best places we’ve stayed in! Everything had been thought of and it was very comfortable for our stay. Great location and perfect for what we wanted and everything easy to drive to with good access. Lovely garden for our small dog too. Scott was always on hand if needed.

This was a beautiful space in the most peaceful and senic location! A must if you’re visiting Snowdon. Only a beautiful 20 min drive to the base of the walk and car park! Thank you Delyth for the recommendations too. Incredibly helpful.

A beautiful stay in the remote Welsh countryside – just what we needed. David and Heather were fantastic hosts and even baked us a gorgeous dairy-free lemon cake and biscuits (thank you so so much!). Everything was pristine and exactly as shown on the website. A short drive from stunning walks, railways and the sea. 10/10 would recommend.

We were thrilled with this airbnb. It was beautiful and spacious. One of our party was in a wheelchair and was able to get around downstairs with ease. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for them (which is a room in it's own right, not the lounge with sofa beds as I thought from the pictures). The downstairs bathroom was also great for them. Gemma had put out ramps for the slight step on the entry door, and a step inside approaching the lounge. She had also rolled up the rugs to make it easier for them to get around. She was proactive and always responsive to texts. There was room for our four cars outside! We often saw Gemma go past with her beautiful horses and she stopped for a chat. I can recommend this place with enthusiasm, it is a haven of peace and comfort. (You don't need a code to get into the gate even though it looks like it from the pictures, but you will get a key-box code for the front door key a day or two before you get there).

One of my favourite Airbnb's I've ever stayed at, super cosy & comfortable, superbly equipped, excellent communication from the hosts, and ideally situated just outside Snowdonia to head into the mountains and explore. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we'll be sure to return one day soon!

This is such a beautiful property and setting. Exactly as described. Made full use of the large hot tub and huge log fire! Dreamy. The nature reserve was only up the road to walk around, with other scenic walks close by, and The Miners pub is an absolute gem of a local pub. Real fires, food van and fabulous owners and staff. We felt so welcome by all, thank you for a fantastic and very memorable stay to celebrate my 40th.

Highly recommend staying here. Excellent location on the Llyn peninsula with good access by car to some beautiful walks including Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). The place is lovely, clean and the perfect place to relax in with an excellent hot tub to watch the stars from at night.

we had a lovely stay for three nights and 4 days thanks topp from Bethan and the lovely surroundings. we would definitely recommend this for a group or family holiday location.... so close to beautiful Snowdonia and within an easy Drive of the coast.

So pleased to have found this place for a work stay, it was so well set up and immaculately clean. Both hosts were really lovely with clear communication about how to get there, and very understanding when I arrived hours later than I expected! Would stay again in a heartbeat (and would love to have a proper holiday in the area too! It's a beautiful setting.) Thanks again.

Had a really love couple of nights with a group of friends over New Years Eve. Margaret was really helpful, she met us when we arrived and showed us around the house so we knew where everything was. The place is huge so that was really helpful. It looks just like the photos and is in a really lovely place, we could see horses out of our window and at night the stars were really bright. It was a perfect countryside escape and really well suited to a big group of people.

Beautiful setting,easy to find with Mirka's directions,relaxing as soon as we arrived. Well sited with easy access to many attractions and stunning views across the area. Roads were good too,no potholes or traffic! Well worth staying, bed was super comfy, shower worked a treat and bath was a relaxing after a long day out. Well recommended and thank you once again for a great stay. Will definitely be back x

Nick and Charlotte are great hosts. They're very welcoming, and while the place can be difficult to find, they have done everything in their power to help with that. The location is excellent! It's remote enough that you feel hidden away from the rest of the world whilst not being too far from shops and restaurants as to be inconvenient. It is only a ten minute drive from the start point for the Watkin path of Snowdon and roughly 20/30 minutes from the other start points. Highly recommend for anyone looking to find peace amongst the hills.

The cottage and the grounds had everything and more than we could ask for and I have never slept better anywhere not even at home as well as I slept at the pigsty. I just can not express how much I loved this place definitely worth the visit to everyone. The nearby lake beautiful too.The sauna another added bonus helps relax and de-stress very bone in your body. The Location of the property is perfect. Stepping out the back door you have the mountains. And a short drive away you on the coastlines. After a day of exploring the private hot tub with its uninterrupted sunset views over the mountains were how we spent our evenings. almost couldn’t wait for this part of the day! The cottage was perfect for myself and my partner. Peaceful, very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. June is an amazing host, very responsive and happy to help. We do highly recommend and will come again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Helen’s cottage. It was in the most beautiful surroundings, it felt very cosy and clean and Helen was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
