Great place to stay, close to the ski slopes, easy to find, charming facilities!

Jory is a really helpful host. He worked to arrange a last minute booking and made our stay work out great. This is our second time here. We would recommend it highly.

We LOVED our stay at Jenny and William’s gorgeous cabin. We were hit with a beautiful snow storm during our stay and we could not have asked for a better place to snowshoe. The view of Superior was stunning. I often have a hard time sleeping when we travel but we all slept like rocks! We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Loretta's Lodge! Didn't want to leave! The views and accommodations were spectacular and perfect for our group of 8! The sauna and games in lower level were a big hit with our kids. Came to ski at Lutsen Resort, but would love to stay again sometime, maybe in the summer, to walk the hiking trails and enjoy some of the businesses that weren't open in March. Had a great time!

Always enjoy visiting Grand Marais, but this beautifully decorated, bright and airy home is the perfect place to soak in the peaceful surroundings! The inviting space has thoughtful touches of home with the amazing beauty of living plants to bring nature inside to nurture your soul! We enjoyed our visit so much and can’t wait to return!❤️

Three of us had a wonderful wintery stay in early February. The house was great--cozy and comfortable with an incredibly well stocked kitchen and an epic bathtub! We took advantage of the gorgeous private sauna every single day and even had a bonfire one night at dust. The proximity to Lake Superior is another plus--as soon as you step outside the house you can hear the waves from the shore! Deidra was a wonderful host. She provided so many recommendations for the North Shore and even offered an early check in since the house was not occupied the night before our arrival. The snacks, welcome note and local gifts (wine, cider, maple syrup and pancake mix) made us feel welcome and appreciated. We hope to stay again in the summer when we can spend even more time outside enjoying the lake.

peaceful and charming place near Lutsen mountain and the shore. Not too far from a Tesla Supercharger which came in handy as well. Everything was accurately described. Would stay again.

If you love snowmobiling and are always on the lookout for fresh trails, let me put Hovland, MN, on your radar. I recently spent a weekend there with a few friends, and it was hands down one of the best riding trips I’ve had. Our Airbnb turned out to be the perfect home base, and the snowmobiling in the area? Absolutely top-notch. One thing to note—you’ll need to trailer into either Grand Marais or Grand Portage to hit the trails. While that might sound like an extra step, it’s actually a huge advantage. Both spots serve as prime trailheads, giving you direct access to an extensive network of well-groomed trails. Plus, they offer gas, restaurants, and plenty of parking, making it super convenient. And since Hovland is equidistant from both, it's less than a 20-minute drive in either direction, so you can switch things up depending on the day. Lutsen has been a favorite of ours since our first trip over 20 years ago. It’s a hike getting there from SE Wisconsin but always well worth it. The skiing in Lutsen is as close as you’re going to get to big mountain skiing in the Midwest. The condo was very clean and has fitting decorations. The key for the pool area and parking passes were hanging just inside the door. The private deck offered a nice area to take in the mountain air after dark and also in the early AM. There was a band after the main lift closed at 4 PM. Also fireworks when the secondary lift closed at 8 PM. So many things to do! We will definitely be back!

great place, you pay for the convenience of ski in ski out. it's a little tight for 4 adults but great for a smaller family

Amazing place! Loved the fireplace and the pool/hottub. It was perfect for our very cold weekend. The host was amazing with my questions and responded within minutes.

Very nice and comfortable. The corner unit affords a good view of the surroundings. Ski in and out was nice. You can sleep 4 but it is probably not big enough for 4 adults. We were 2 and that was great. The pull out couch mattress was comfortable, kitchen well stocked. A ski trail map would be nice to include in the unit for winter guests.

Perfect place for ski vacation at Lutsen Mountain. True ski in ski out! Bed is very comfortable. Balcony has a beautiful view of the ski mountain and slopes.

Our stay at Nord Haven was everything we expected. We have stayed in other units at the Chateaux Leveaux and I have to say the hosts did a great job with updates and remodeling. The kitchen and bathroom were beautiful, and this unit also has a lot more dining room as the master bedroom is upstairs. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that there were several updates made to the overall complex this year including new asphalt outside which is great for those spring ski days and new paint in the pool area which freshened the whole place up.
