Lovely Airbnb with a gorgeous view over Hydra, right to the ocean. We loved staying here and spending time on the patio. We got some great recommendations from the host too which were all great! We would absolutely stay here again.

It is a special place, homey and authentically Greek. It felt like a home we'd be coming to forever. Βουλγαρης’ arranged a horse and guide to meet us, take us to the home, and let us in. It has 2 outdoor seating areas with lovely breezes. It is not modern or updated; it doesn't have a dishwasher, or updated bathrooms, but that is part of its charm. It has a lovely view up the hillside. About a 10 minute walk down to Idra town along lovely cobbled walkways by beautiful homes, flowers, and shops. We enjoyed seeing all the cats. October was a nice time to visit, quite quiet, and we were still able to take a dip in the sea. It was a perfect place to end our vacation--A few days in paradise.

Εξαιρετική επιλογή για διαμονή στον Πόρο. Το κατάλυμα ήταν σε ιδανική , ήσυχη τοποθεσία ,πεντακάθαρο και ήταν ακριβώς όπως στην περιγραφή της καταχώρησης. Ο Νικόλας και η μητέρα του ήταν απολύτως επικοινωνιακοί και πρόθυμοι να συνδράμουν σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε με συμβουλές και κατατοπιστικές πληροφορίες. Με την άφιξή μας είχαν προνοήσει για κρύα εμφιαλωμένα νερά και παγάκια στο ψυγείο ,καθώς και μια ποιοτική σπιτική λεμονάδα για να φρεσκαριστούμε. Επίσης μας έδωσαν την ευκαιρία της ευέλικτης αναχώρησης και γενικά ήταν από τους οικοδεσπότες που τιμούνε τη φιλοξενία και σε κάνουν να αισθάνεσαι σαν να βρίσκεσαι σε οικείο χώρο. Η οργανωμένη παραλία ήταν στα 50 μέτρα απόσταση και δίπλα υπάρχει σούπερ μάρκετ και φούρνος για τις αγορές τελευταίας στιγμής. Στα υπέρ του χώρου το ιδιωτικό ασφαλές πάρκινγκ και η απίστευτη θέα από τις δύο βεράντες. Γενικά θα πρότεινα στους δυνητικά υποψήφιους μελλοντικούς ενοικιαστές να μην χάνουν το χρόνο τους αναζητώντας που θα μείνουν στο νησί......

We loved our 5-day stay at Eleni’s house, which we found to be cosy, quiet and matching the description. The views from the house, which is in the higher part of town, were lovely. We arrived after dark and were glad we had accepted Eleni’s offer to arrange for Marios to meet us with his donkey to haul our bags and guide us to the house uphill through the maze of unnamed streets. It made check-in very easy.

My daughter and I spent two beautiful weeks in february in Ioannis’ home. He was always there for us, when we arrived with his beautiful donkey Pénélope, and he was also there to help us when we caught the boat back. In the meantime, he was always available to answer questions in a warm and kind way and had very nice gestures. Although the temperatures were sometimes low, the house has a good heating. And for the sunny days, the terrace under the lemon tree is great. I highly highly recommend!

Περάσαμε 2 νύχτες στο σπίτι του Φιλίππου. Ήμασταν λίγο ατυχείς με τον καιρό και το ένα υπνοδωμάτιο δεν κρατούσε θερμοκρασία παρόλο που το σπίτι είχε θέρμανση. ευτυχώς ο Φίλιππος ανταποκρίθηκε άμεσα και μας έφερε μια σόμπα, με την οποία το δωμάτιο ζεστάθηκε πολύ καλά. οι χώροι του σπιτιού ήταν άνετοι και η επικοινωνία και η επικοινωνία με τον Φίλιππο εξαιρετική.

Our holiday in this house was beyond our expectations. Finding the place clean and all essentials inside, the stay was truly comfortable and easy. The owner of the house was very responsive to all our questions, and kind. Location of the house is also perfect; just a 2-minute walk to the beach, and very convenient to restaurants in which you can find great Greek cousine. I highly recommend this property for anyone who seeks a calm holiday in a well-cared-for home in such a convenient setting as well as a a beautiful beach and the sea. Hope to visit there again !

This was exactly as we wanted, quiet, private and beautiful. The shop and restaurant were quite a walk, so transport would be ideal if you aren’t keen to walk. Maria was very quick to answer texts, and super friendly and helpful. The pool was superb and obviously being on the beach front was perfect. Thank you both!

Konstantinos was an excellent host, he picked us up from the port with our bags and took us straight to the villa where he showed us around and how everything worked. The fridge was generously stocked with fresh fruit and lots of bottled water, and there were coffee pods and laundry supplies for us to use. Beautiful villa, wonderful location and an amazing host. 10/10

This was really a little bit of paradise by the sea! The views were fantastic, the whole place tranquil, perfect for some rest and relaxation. There is such a wonderful housekeeper who went out of her way to make sure we were happy, yet not intrusive. Eleni was also always communicating efficiently and effectively through Airbnb. We were slightly out of season, so the swimming pool was not in use, but that was no problem as the sea is right there and beautifully clear and warm in October! The water jetty was perfect for us to catch a taxi over to Spetses for dinner, what an experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and it was very family friendly. all the basics were provided. We loved the cozy fireplace! Our toddler enjoyed the tree house, slides, little house and swings. Very nice place to stay. Unfortunately, many other toys pictured were unavailable, including the train tracks, sandbox, seesaw and other yard toys. Our host was very kind, helpful, and friendly and made an effort to provide a replacement toy since the train tracks were missing. thanks for a great stay!

This was our second time staying at Frans Villa, and it was just as exceptional as our first visit. Returning to Porto Heli and this beautiful villa felt like coming home. Frans Villa continues to be the perfect getaway, offering the same comfort and charm that made our first stay so memorable. The villa remains impeccably equipped with everything you could possibly need, down to the smallest details. The private pool and BBQ area, with their stunning views of the sea, are pristine and well-maintained, providing the perfect setting for relaxation. One of the highlights for us is the secluded beach bay, just a short 5-minute walk from the villa. It's a hidden gem, so peaceful and unspoilt, making it feel like your own private slice of paradise. Thank you, Frans, for another unforgettable holiday!

Highly recommended. The hostess is friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The apartment is both practical and beautiful. We had a great time.

Everything about the house is magical. We loved the old architecture, the location, proximity to swimming, everything. You need to know that it's quite an upward journey from the port, so be ready to climb about 300 steps in total to get to the house. The good thing is that there are mules available to take your bags and you can take your time on the cute walk up. There is a nice mini supermarket about 8 minutes walking from the house, excellent restaurants and swimming only 5 minutes away. The views are breathtaking. We absolutely loved it and area already excited about coming back next year!

Loved the house amongst the forest, very clean inside and comfy living room. The fireplace was very nice during the winter when we stayed. Easy walk to the local village to eat dinner and walk around in the nature. Really liked and enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a peaceful and remote place to relax.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is beautiful, extremely clean and so cozy and the garden is lovely. The hosts are so kind and welcoming and brought us fresh oranges, olive oil from their groves and muffins which were greatly appreciated. We would definitely come back for longer & highly recommend it!

This was a wonderful stay in a real home. The house sits on the edge of an authentic Greek farming village up in a remote valley. We enjoyed that the house is in an olive grove. Tasos and Maria were welcoming and helpful. We were grateful for the WiFi as we did do some work. The house is well appointed, cosy, and quiet. It is only 10 minutes drive to the coast and a quiet beach with a couple of tavernas. The super-market there has everything. Do try their local sheep's yogurt. Drive up into the mountains as the scenery is grand. The next village up in the mountains has a super local taverna. The house is a good spot from where one can visit ancient sites at Epidaurus, Mycenae and Corinth. We will happily return. Thank you, Tasos and Maria.

We had a great week staying at Catherine's little house in Kamini. The house is small but cozy and equipped with everything you might need during your stay on Hydra and also offers the possibility to cook your own meals. The little terrace is nice to enjoy breakfast or dinner outside before the summer heat hits. It is about 5mins to the nearest supermarket and 10-15min to the city and port of Hydra, so you can enjoy the calmness of the island away from tourist crowds at the port, while still close to restaurants and cafes. As common in Hydra, there are quite some stairs on the way, however Catherine organized a donkey transport for us to get our luggage from the port to the house and vice versa. One of the most beautiful beaches of the island, Kamini beach, is only 8mins from the house, but also other beaches such as Vlichos and Avlaki are within walking distance and easy to reach. Catherine was very caring & made sure we had a pleasant stay with everything we needed. Recommended!

The accommodation was very well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Efi and her husband were wonderful hosts, always checking in to ensure everything was going well, and their care made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a peaceful and calm place, this is the one for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing time near the sea, with breathtaking views and a perfect spot for snorkeling.
