Felt right at home in this tranquil location, the cottage was beyond my expectations, it is set inside the grounds of a beautiful old estate. Stunning private walks to its own lake surrounded by the most spectacular old trees. Our cottage had everything we needed and more, a fully equipped kitchen with the essentials included.. Salt, pepper, kitchen paper, cooking oil, tea bag’s, coffee, sugar, toilet roils etc. poolside towels to enjoy the jacuzzi and sauna. The cottage was even beautifully decorated with Christmas decor for our new year’s stay. I loved the decor, it was so well thought out, great taste. The bed was comfy, but best of all was the peace, I slept like a baby ! Will definitely be back if there is availability! Thank you Gerard. You are great host. Cheers Lisa

Esther was incredible from start to finish. The accommodation is modest with absolutely stunning views. The only drawback, which Esther had forewarned, was the power of the shower and switching constantly from hot to cold which is not great. However, I had cold showers which were powerful and refreshing and then warmed up by the fire. Great location and great host.

Wow what a place! Fantastic old cottage, beautifully decorated and a great wood burner. Sauna and whirlpool bath were fabulous. Would definitely recommend as a great base to explore the South West Coast of Ireland.

Really fantastic place to stay. The accommodation was perfect for us: great shower, comfy bed, friendly reception and a fully equipped kitchen. We've stayed in many Airbnb's but this one stands out due to the host going the extra mile. Bonus points for providing a really good iron and ironing board! I'll be recommending this place to friends and family.

Gerard and Ann were amazing hosts. The cottage was so clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and sauna so much. It was a really great way to end both days of our stay. It was a great location, as it is just a few minutes outside the town and very peaceful. If we are ever back in the area we would definitely like to stay here again. If really can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended!

I stayed here with my family. Wow! This is exactly what I hoped for Ireland. The fireplace and hot tub were a big plus. The rental had pretty much everything you would want. Liz was an amazing host and had some treats waiting for us—not necessary but much appreciated!!

Sarah and Owen are great hosts! We had a lovely stay at their airbnb. It was very easy to communicate. Due to unexpected issues related to our car, Sarah and Owen offered a lift to airbnb from the town nearby. It was very helpful, and just an example of how much they care about visitors. Everything mentioned in the description was included. Truly amazing experience and without a doubt can recommend if you plan to travel around. House doesn't only offer very comfortable stay but also wonderful views around. It is also a great "base" if you want to travel and explore the area further. Fully deserved 5 stars! :)

Great rental! Very spacious with all amenities you might need. Amazing views. Perfect to access beaches close by and a beautiful drive to Dingle through Conor Pass. Keith welcomed us at the house and showed us around. Lovely trip!

Barbara’s cottage is a very comfortable and spacious home away from home. We stayed six nights in February and the cottage was lovely and warm. Barbara was very friendly and welcoming, and the cottage is well set up with lots of small touches that many other air bnb’s neglect such as bedside reading lights, basic foodstuffs in the kitchen, comfy throw rugs on couches. We would definitely recommend this lovely cottage in peaceful rural surroundings.

This was the most idyllic cottage we could have imagined for our New Years stay. David recommended the best local pub for us to enjoy a traditional Irish new years and it made our trip so great. He was so friendly and welcoming and let us pet the horses. He had lots of history and insight to offer and this place is perfect for any country Irish holiday dreams!

Rose cottage was our perfect accommodation during our stay in west Cork. We enjoyed the quiet location, the spacious house and all of its comfort that it offers. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, nice shower to name a few. We travelled with 3 adults and 2 kids. The house is quite large, which makes it possible to let the kids play in one area and the adults chill somewhere else. The road up to the house is a 6 to 7 minute drive on a narrow (1 car wide) road. This might be a bit scary for some, but its really okay. No steep cliffs or anything. Just keep in mind you might have to let someone else pass. The communication with Kevin is really good. Very prompt replies and well provided instructions. When we visit this area again we would definitely come back.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was with Annette. The location is ideal- romantic and very private. A gorgeous property, and a beautifully appointed cottage with a great eye to detail. Annette is a wonderful host, and made sure we had everything we need. Truly, one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.

Gorgeous and comfortable little cottage located in very peaceful setting. Only got to spend a couple days there, but felt at home right away. Beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail; warm and cozy fireplace to relax in the evenings, very comfortable beds. Des is a very responsive, welcoming and helpful host. Wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly book in again if back in the area!

Mag and her husband were super welcoming and helpful! Great tips on the surroundings and treat us to a good fire in the living room. The house is stunning, the view is breathtaking and if you are quiet enough expect some special guests cheering you for morning coffee: a group of beautiful sheep outside the cottage fences 🐑❤️ We’d love to live there for ever :)

Anne was a great hostess. She was very hospitable and always communicated or showed up right away if we had questions. The cottage was wonderful, with plenty of room for everyone. Each bedroom is spacious with its own complete bathroom. The kitchen is fully equippedand there is plenty of room and toys for the kids to play outside. Its also really close to Kenmare, so food and groceries are not far away. Cannot recommend this enough!

We really enjoyed our month-long stay at Jerry's place. The kitchen is well equipped and Jerry and his wife were always helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. The host provided enough dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper and even firewood to last our entire stay. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful location in the countryside but still central for exploring both Kerry and Cork counties (having a car is a must).

We loved our stay at the shed. It was a perfect little getaway in the countryside. I would highly recommend it to anybody, Riona and Paddy were wonderful.

We had a really good weekend at the cottage. It is small, but had everything we needed. Although in the mid-winter the cottage was lovely and warm. Kate was a brilliant host and was on hand whenever we had a question. For us it was the perfect short break and we will be back.

Our second stay at the cottages in two years which is always a good indication of how at home I feel lhere. If you are looking for a complete switch off, amazing countryside and total chill out... This is the place to do it.

Michael was a great host. Was there to greet us and answer any questions we had. Was quick to remedy an issue with the heating and made sure we were comfortable. This place is just the right distance from town and is close driving distance to many local attractions. Sydney the dog is also a highlight of this place! Would recommend Michael’s place to anyone wanting a cozy place to stay In Killarney.
