Mark and Leah provide accommodation which is superbly clean and comfortable and has many little touches (such as the beach umbrella and towels, and the welcome drinks in the fridge) which make for a very pleasant stay. The highlight is definitely the wonderful view of the bay, the foreshore, the headlands and the pier, which always has something interesting to watch. They also provide excellent information for self check in before arrival, and access to the apartment and nearby parking is really easy. The location is excellent for access to cafes and restaurants nearby and also for some beautiful walks in the local area. For a week's stay, the washer and dryer are very handy too. There is also an excellent TV with Netflix, YouTube and Foxtel. The kitchen is especially well equipped, with both pod and a grounds coffee machines. We are well travelled and this was one of the most comfortable apartments we have stayed in. Thank you Mark and Leah.

Beautiful location Great for a peaceful weekend away surrounded by nature Only issues were the outside area had cobwebs everywhere and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long while and that for such a large amount of $ I don’t know why one of the bedrooms was locked. Highest recommendation possible for Armando & his gorgeous home. We had issues with another airbnb & Armando was very understanding & accommodating last minute. Our teens were surprised & delighted to find A had left some chocolate bars for our arrival, a thoughtful treat after our holiday disruption. The peaceful and well thought out gardens, complete with water feature & large goldfish really are amazing. The home & beds are very comfortable, tastefully decorated. The ducted air conditioning made the difference in the heat, with sleeping and during the day when we were resting after being out at the beaches, shopping 5 mins up the road at Westfield Kotara, op shopping at various vintage 2nd hand stores, finding bubble tea or visiting Taronga Zoo in Sydney. There's so much to do and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Having 2 showers with toilets & a bath is always helpful. This home truly is amazing, as is Armando. Grab some cooking oil, your food & luggage & enjoy this home!

A great place in the middle of Nelson Bay and Shoal Bay. Super easy to get around from here and a nice stay.

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment! The views of Fingal Bay were absolutely spectacular, and the short walk to the beach made it even better. We loved having the little grocery store and cafés just downstairs—so convenient. The underground parking and elevator access straight to the second-floor apartment were a huge plus. The large covered balcony was perfect for relaxing, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. We also appreciated how peaceful the area was while still being close to amenities. The only minor issue was sometimes the buses will idle at the bus stop near the apartment and if you have your doors open it can be a bit loud. But it’s only a couple of times per day we noticed it. Definitely recommend the apartment.

Stewart's place was perfect for what we needed. Basic accommodation, clean and dog friendly which was perfect for us!

Roger’s place was in a prime location. Nice and quite but never more than a 10min drive to anything you’d want to do or check out in the area. Home was private, very clean and to the brim with amenities. Kitchen was well stocked as well as the fridge, bathroom was clean with all the toiletries. Beds were clean and fresh and the A/C was very nice on the hot days. Definitely would recommend to stay here.

Had a fabulous stay, with many hours spent relaxing around the pool and bbq ! A very comfortable well located home with plentiful space for summer fun and entertainment. Proximity to Shoal Bay, numerous beaches and walks provide ample activity for all the family. We hope to be back next year!

Caves Beach is a beautiful location and amazing for families. Sue's place was the perfect location - right near the beach with stunning water views and the view of the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The house was big, private and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and hang about. Will definitely be booking this place again for another family holiday.

Perfect spot for getaway. Scott is a fantastic host extremely flexible and generous in his interactions with us. The home is always spotless with all the conveniences needed when on a holiday. I have stayed at many Airbnbs and rate this place very highly for cleanliness, privacy, security and proximity to cafes and restaurants. Looking forward to getting back there soon.

In a spot where you can walk to essentials plus multiple choice of beaches. Parking can be an issue if you take more than one car, but still doable. The cozy cottage is the correct name for it. Feels like a warm hug after a stressful day. Considering how small it is, there are about 4 or 5 different spots to unwind depending on you taste.. balcony, back courtyard, front sun room, lounge. It also has the old wood smell that you can only get in older houses.

Very comfortable apartment in an excellent location. 5 adults in our group and it did not feel crowded.

Ruth’s place was an excellent choice for a work project nearby. The neighbourhood was really quiet & peaceful. The swimming pool was great for a swim after work for the team. Ruth was very welcoming & helpful. Would definitely recommend this place, it was well equipped with everything you need. The booking requires 3 nights minimum.

Simon’s place is simply amazing. Not only is a great house, in an amazing spot but It was equipped with everything anyone could ever possibly need. Simon was always available and responsive to any queries, and went the extra mile to find out more about our plans and interests so he could recommend activities or offer additions l help. I have stayed in plenty of Airbnb’s and I must say I think this tops them all, and no doubt I will be back.

The unit serviced our needs nicely, it was reasonably priced for our two night stay and well equiped. The only reason it didn’t receive 5 stars for cleanliness was because the floor was quite sticky throughout the apartment when we arrived, I think that has to do with the floor cleaner/mop used as opposed to not being clean. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely consider the same units again in the future.
