Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

This place was absolutely amazing!! The host was great with a ton of communication and reasonable! Did her absolute best to satisfy our needs and did not disappoint at all!! Definitely am going to book an even longer trip to stay here again!!

Favorite Place to Stay was perfect! The home was cozy and inviting. Very spacious the patio and hot tub are an excellent addition making a peaceful backyard space come to life. The home was perfectly located near all major attractions and amenities Charlotte has to offer. Will be back for sure Loved it!!

The house is amazing. Extremely well equipped. Amazing decks, docks etc. Great gas grill. Amazing lower level with bar and game room. All three bathrooms and showers are really nice, including outdoor shower. 😀 All of the wall hangings and niknacs are very nice and make it feel like a real home and not just a rental. I could go on and on but I only have so much space. Thanks for sharing your fabulous home. It made our sons wedding week very special!

Amazing house, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Has everything you could possibly need as far as kitchen and bathroom supplies. Beautiful views from throughout the house. Hot tub was well maintained and perfectly placed to enjoy the view. Would most definitely stay here again!

Beautiful clean home, very peaceful environment...amazing scenery, I enjoyed the early morning view of nature in the background. The hot tub was relaxing and an awesome addition to my experience. I left feeling rested, and charged up. The home itself has a great vibe. I enjoyed my stay, it was definitely worth it & well needed. Thanks for having me!

Marshall's place is awesome! We have stayed here before and love the location and the house! Marshall is also very communicative and helpful. Definitely recommend!

A group of my friends and I stayed here for a weekend. I am from the area originally and the location cannot be beat. It a gorgeous lakefront property and we rented a boat/captain for dinner on Friday to take us down the river to a waterfront restaurant. We heated the pool but ended up using the hot tub instead. The furnishings and house itself are not new or “modern” but it looked exactly as described/and in the photos, and the house is even bigger overall. For the price, this was a great deal. We spent our time hanging out in the kitchen which had enormous windows looking outside, and on the deck, and it was super comfortable for all 11 of us there. Robert was incredibly communicative and always available to answer questions. We wished we could move in! I’d definitely stay there again. Great for large groups.

Host was very responsive and friendly! The cabin was an awesome place and our girls loved the fire pit out back!

Myself, my fiance, and two of our friends stayed overnight during a trip. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and the place itself was spotless and tidy. The house felt very private and safe, and the amenities offered made our stay just that much more relaxing. I highly recommend this lovely place to anyone who needs somewhere to stay in or around Statesville!

Carla was a very thoughtful host. There were snacks, bottled water, coffee and teas with honey, even half and half for the coffee. She provided firewood and skewers for roasting marshmallows. She helped us find the best restaurants with great local recommendations. We even met her dog when we first got there so that everyone was on good terms (no barking, etc.) It's was very easy to have a relaxing weekend at her place.

The location was great. We walked to Napa on Providence the first night of our stay - fabulous. Lovely walk in a beautiful neighborhood. Second day we went to the Mint Museum uptown which was minutes away by car. The unit itself was peaceful and neighbors were quiet. Televisions were easy to use and I can’t think of anything that was missing that we needed. Wonderful visit.

We were in town for admitted student's day at UNCC and Jayne's place is located across from campus. The house is cute with all the listed amenities. My only comment would be that there are a lot of air fresheners in the house. My family didn't notice but I am sensitive. We would stay there again if our daughter commits to UNCC.

Loved staying at the Coliseum Cottage. A cozy, well designed home with lots of comfortable furniture, pillows and blankets. Super close to the coliseum and uptown!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Jan and Charlie’s place. Their communication was great. The pool house was immaculate and had plenty of thoughtful touches. The cookies were delicious! We especially enjoyed the family history on the walls. Highly recommend a stay here.

From start to finish, this was a positive experience. The home is so lovely I really hated to leave! Also, my sweet pup LOVED being there. 😊🐾💖

I spent four weeks at this spacious and comfortable apartment while working in Center City. There is a grocery store in easy walking distance, a great coffee shop a block away. Though it is next to the highway it's pretty quiet and supplies a nice white noise at night. Rachel was quick to respond if I needed assistance, which was rare. Next time I come to Charlotte I will look to see if this place is available.

Our family rented the Fountain of Young over Thanksgiving as a central location to gather 3 generations together. It's ideal for families; there are enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space, yet many spaces to gather together. The media room with the projector screen was a huge hit, as was the heated outdoor pool (a perk when most rentals close up their pools once summer is over). We enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pits; the private beach and kayaks looked inviting for those renting in warmer weather. There are beautiful views of the lake from many spots along the rear of the house. Lastly I must comment on the kitchen - I have never rented an Air bnb with a better equipped kitchen! Any kitchen gadget you could possibly need is on site. For all the dishes, glasses, bakeware, etc., everything was so clean - they have an awesome cleaning crew. Also love that this rental is green they have detailed recycling instructions.

What really stood out, though, was how you respected our privacy—everything felt so comfortable, and it made me feel completely at home. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was how you not only opened up your space to us but also welcomed us into your family culture. That, to me, was the most moving part of our time there. It wasn’t just a place to stay—it felt like we were part of something bigger.

i had a great stay at josh’s airbnb! he was also extremely responsive no matter what i reached out to about. the space was clean and it was in a prime location. the fridge had water which i really appreciated. you could walk anywhere but also get anywhere via lyft/uber and because the location was so central, it was never expensive. it looked just like the photos. i’d likely stay again next time i’m in a charlotte. this is a great space to stay!

We were there for a wedding to the Ivory Barn and the location was perfect. We loved the porch. It was ideal for what we needed.
