Excellent walkable location. The apartment was clean, quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

Had wonderful stay—it was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, with well-maintained amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable, though it was a little chilly. The space had everything we needed and perfectly suited our accommodations, including all the essentials, especially for those who enjoy cooking!

This was my first time staying at an Airbnb, and this house was the best. It made our family trip to San Diego even more special. I 200% recommend it!

Carol and Tony provided everything we needed for a lovely family vacation- they accommodated our needs while traveling with a toddler and their guest house felt like a home away from home! Their backyard is heavenly and was the perfect place to relax in between all our outings. They are the nicest couple and I would recommend their lovely cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to all SoCal has to offer.

Our stay at Meaghan and Dereks was absolutely amazing. It felt like a cozy little home in the middle of nature. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful landscape, hearing the birds, beautiful retreat away from the busy city life. Meaghan and Derek were very friendly and communicative making it easy to find the home and enjoy our time there.

Guest house on a quiet street, fairly close to SDSU. It was "home base" for our stay in San Diego, while visiting family. Easy access to highways. Local stores & restaurant s nearby. Cute kitchen & patio area. Well maintained.

Clean, beautiful Zen getaway~~ so quiet, with beautiful gardens & waterfall. We wanted to relax & reflect…..perfect guest house, well appointed, fantastically comfortable beds, thoughtful details in every room. Appreciated snacks after a long day! Michael & Anya make it easy to get away!

Cara was amazing, very responsive, and very accommodating with our family. Her place is beautiful and my wife was taking notes of the interior design and furniture. My wife and daughter normally have trouble sleeping at hotels due to the mattress but they loved and had no trouble falling asleep at this place. The size of the house is perfect for our small family of 2 adults, a toddler and an infant. My daughter loved waking up in the morning and watching the hummingbirds stop by their feeders located outside. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, with good parking , well situated in San Diego with all the attractions only a 15-20 minute drive away. We were also easily able to walk to local cafes, restaurants, and other shops. There is even a nice playground at the local school within walking distance that my daughter enjoyed playing at. It was amazing communicating with Cara and are looking forward to staying at her place again.

Great location! It was close to so many restaurants and things to do. I would most definitely book his place again.

Carlos' cottage is beautiful! My husband and I were down in San Diego to meet up with family and this spot was just perfect. The cottage is beautiful and spotless. Carlos is a great host. I highly recommend this place. It is in a beautiful area.

Top notch all around! Location 10/10, views 10/10, comfort 10/10. Nestled in a quiet, residential area perched over the most gorgeous views, this place is a true gem. Whether you want to enjoy La Jolla, the beaches, or stroll the lovely neighborhood, you will feel automatically at home. I look forward to my next visit!

Beautiful home! The check in process was very easy, with step by step instructions and photos. The house itself was clean and included many amenities. I felt safe which was important since I had my children with me. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay and would rent again the next time we visit.

A+. We decided to do a staycation and happened to find this 420 spot while looking through listings. Zina & Craig are great hosts. The spot was perfect for the weekend we had planned. They had snacks and coloring books and a little welcome gift which was wonderful and unexpected. The area was very peaceful and quiet. The house was clean and nice. We definitely will be booking again. HIGHly ;) recommend.

BOOK IT! Aesthetically well done, extremely comfortable, perfect location. Really enjoyed my stay here for 5 days. Unit has everything you may need during your stay. Love this neighborhood, so many great restaurants and shops. Parking was always available. Space is squeaky clean and bed is comfy. Next time I’m in SD I will stay here again.

Was looking to book this place on shorter notice than I would have preferred, due to our previous Airbnb being cancelled on us out of the blue. Despite this, the process of booking was seamless! The host even reached out the night before and offered an early check in which was much appreciated, and allowed us extra time and flexibility for our trip. The space was exactly as pictured, all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. We especially appreciated the portable AC unit and portable heater- I’m always extra sensitive to temperatures and even with the mild weather in San Diego, I appreciated having these to use when I needed. Everything was as we hoped and we would gladly stay here again next time we’re in the area.

Kim was super sweet and welcoming. We really enjoyed the stay and the beautiful surroundings. Just a really great spot that I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to.

This apartment is great for 2 people to enjoy the San Diego / La Jolla area. We stayed here for a full month. The apartment is very cozy and the hosts are absolutely fantastic! They have an office set up downstairs (in the garage) and work there most weekdays and occasionally on weekends, so you're not in a totally private house (you have your own entrance and space upstairs), but they are close by for questions. As is prevalent in the area our small dog was very welcome in this apartment. If you have a small dog be wary of coyotes that roam the area.

Had a great stay at this Airbnb. hist provided excellent instructions and the space was accurately described in the listing. Was a great basecamp for visiting San Diego friends and exploring the city.

The place was great - property was mostly as described or better. One concern to note is that although the property is fully fenced, if you have a smaller dog, or one that is determined to roam, there are places where it could get out. Also, the latch on the front gate doesn’t work perfectly, so when anyone uses the gate and doesn’t latch it all the way, your dog could escape if he’s like ours and naturally curious. This happened to us 3 times - the first time was our fault, but the other times weren’t. When I raised this with the host, she didn’t seem concerned, and instead told me I should teach my dog the “come” command, so I doubt it is being fixed. If my dog is outside of earshot, “come” isn’t really helpful. Other than that, the place was fantastic and the host was very kind, friendly, and helpful. We might be back, but likely won’t bring our dog (although he did absolutely love it, the stress of him getting out wasn’t worth it for us).

Wonderful stay! Home away from home! had everything I needed for an extended stay. Will be back for sure!

Great neighborhood and spot right by the beach!

Great, safe and peaceful stay. I stayed 5 nights as a single female and had no problem sleeping or feeling safe. I felt capable of communicating with Christina as much as I needed.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Lori’s Airbnb. We traveled with our one year old daughter for the first time, and Lori made it easier by providing a pack n play and a baby gate! We even used the provided washer and dryer several times throughout our stay. The space is small and comfortable, but the garage door to the backyard area makes the space seem so open and airy. There were guests staying next door but we never heard them from our indoor or outdoor space, so we had plenty of privacy. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!
