Mellow Yellow. My review a couple of weeks ago was titled White Riot, and I wrote about the snowdrops. This week, after some recent warmer weather in early Spring, the road verges and hedgerows here near Bath are blanketed with masses of yellow primroses. This is especially true of the narrow lanes leading up the side of the Box valley to this amazing Airbnb apartment. In many earlier reviews I’ve let other Airbners know how comfortable and warm the apartment is, with underfloor heating. Unlike other places you may book, its always warm here when you arrive. Since early 2018 when I first started staying here, and by my reckoning this week has been my 200th stay in this apartment, I have NEVER arrived to find a cold and chilly apartment. You don’t need to turn anything on to get the apartment to a comfortable temperature when you arrive (even in the deepest, coldest winters); it is always warm and ready for you.

A really nice apartment, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The little extras like milk, tea, coffee, bread, butter and biscuits was appreciated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful accommodation. The host was very informative and friendly, going the extra mile. The accommodation was just as described, perfect location, and even better than the photos. We cannot wait to stay again! Roisin & Jake

I stayed at Jenny’s Airbnb for a weekend when my mom was visiting town. It was the perfect landing point for us and had all of the amenities we needed. The flat was extremely spacious which made it easy for us to unpack our bags and still have room to lounge when we weren’t out and about. Jenny was super accommodating and responsive throughout our visit as well! Will definitely be staying here again the next time I’m back in Bath.

Jessica was extremely helpful and gave great instructions. The apartment had everything we needed. Great location. Had a very enjoyable stay. The only slight downfall was it was a little noisy in front bedroom at closing time at the pub opposite.

We loved our stay at Katrina’s place. Firstly, it was easy to find, with secure parking, in a great location, with beautiful views. Bath centre was only a short scenic walk away. The property was clean and comfortable, we really appreciated the added extras provided, like the milk and crumpets. Katrina is very friendly, we really enjoyed meeting you and staying at this beautiful place. Thank you.

Great stay. A lovely place to stay, perfect for me whilst working in the area for a few days. Spotlessly clean, quiet and well equipped. Lovely views on all sided too. Very well placed for key travel routes.

Fantastic large space in easy walking distance of the main attractions and restaurants in the centre of Bath. Powerful showers and nice beds. Five minutes from a large affordable 24x7 car park with EV charging. We under occupied as a family with two growing children so this is the ideal kind of place for when a hotel family room has been one too small.

We had a great stay in the flat, which was well furnished, comfortable and in a great location for both Clifton and the city centre. Lots of little touches helped make it easy to settle in. The owners were very helpful prior to our arrival in terms of info provided and willingness to be flexible over arrival time. All in all a great four night short break and we would be happy to come back in the future.

Just recently returned from an amazing weekend to celebrate my partners 50th birthday! From the moment I booked Eleanor was fantastic, she organised for birthday balloons and a bottle of bubbly and went out of her way to make it special. The apartment was spotless, and felt home from home. The spa … amazing! Again spotless and so relaxing. If you are looking for a place to get away to unwind…this is definitely the place to book. Thank you Eleanor and Wayne for making this weekend special, and for being perfect hosts. Will definitely be returning at some point!

Jessica’s apartment is exactly as described and as shown in the photos. Spotlessly clean and comfy, set in a quiet location that is a simple short walk from the city centre. Some great tips on restaurants and cocktail bars. The spa bath is amazing too!

This is a wonderful, comfortable & spacious place and Julie was extremely helpful. My father-in-law came to visit and our house isn't at all accessable so we needed somewhere for him to stay and for us to use as a base for evening meals. Julie couldn't have been any more accommodating and the local area is also pretty accessable overall for my father-in-law on his scooter. The hot tub was also lovely, the sofa comfortable, bed comfortable, kitchen well equipped, lovely welcome pack, everything was well thought out and happily received. We will definitely be back, thank you Julie!

Stunning, peaceful property with beautiful views over the countryside. Linda gave clear instructions to help find the property, and Mike popped over to welcome us once we were settled. They were very helpful and responsive hosts, who clearly cared that we had a lovely time while there. The property is cosy and beautiful - it looked as good if not better than in the photos. We stayed with our dog, Sprocket, so found the enclosed garden to be the perfect, safe little outside area for him to explore between walks and visits to local villages (Painswick is gorgeous, and Sunday lunch at The Painswick was fab). Sprocket especially enjoyed our visits from the neighbouring cows, and the odd spot of a deer in the field we overlooked. We absolutely would recommend and hope to return!
