We had the opportunity to stay here as guests when the hosts were first getting the place ready to share two years ago. It's every bit as charming, welcoming and comfortable now as it was then with some nice touches added. We look forward to staying with Josh and Gretchen again for another perfect quiet family getaway.

My husband and I stayed at Carin Cottage in Mancos, CO, for our 6th anniversary, and it was wonderful. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and you could tell the hosts designed it to be both beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed hiking on the property and the breathtaking stargazing at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us great sleep after long adventures. Being off-grid allowed us to disconnect and reset, which was perfect for our stay. We had never used a compost toilet before and found that part challenging, but it's something to be prepared for if you're a city person like us. Overall, our stay was amazing, and the locals in Mancos were so kind. It warmed our hearts to hear the great things they had to say about the hosts. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, off-grid getaway!

I thought it was a great home. Easy to find, very clean and decorated very nice. Nikki was so helpful and quick to respond to my messages. I would highly recommend using her place and would definitely stay there again when in the area. Thank you for a great experience.

My family loved this house, it had plenty of room for us. We walked in and felt right at home. This place is not far from one of our favorite restaurants The Depot. The host were super friendly and easy to talk to.

I had the best night's sleep I've had in probably the past year at Michelle's. The bed was very comfortable, and I felt at home and comfortable. I was very tired, but still for me to sleep that hard and uninterrupted really surprised me. I really appreciated how clean Michelle keeps her place. I'm unusually sensitive to floors and appreciated the ceramic tiles and how clean they were. The bathroom was deep clean too. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment. There is no stove, but the tea kettle and toaster oven are nice alternatives and allowed me to make some simple but good dishes.

First off, this was our first time staying at an Air B&B. What an amazing experience. Cami's description of the house was accurate. The communication was excellent. We loved the house and it was perfect for our families to hang out. The kids loved having the loft to call their own space. The property is beautiful and private. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

We loved our stay at Cowboy Cabin! You have amazing views from the porch and windows of the mountains, Ron’s West Highlander cattle, farmland and wildlife. We really enjoyed the electric fireplace in the bedroom which has a window above it with an incredible view of the mountains. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen and bathroom are well stocked to meet all of your needs. Having the breakfast waiting in the refrigerator was also greatly appreciated. We had eggs, sausage, butter, OJ, milk, oatmeal, cereal and even fresh bread for toast. The area communities of Dolores, Pleasant View, Dove Creek and Cortez are well worth visiting. Couple of our favorites for delicious food and drinks are restaurants like the Lounging Lizard and Stonefish Sushi in Cortez. We enjoyed visiting with Ron and definitely consider him to be a wonderful friend. You won’t find a more gracious and helpful host or a better place to stay. We will definitely be staying with Ron again!
