The photos do NOT do justice to the beauty of this location. There are literally thousands of archeological sites in the area and the central location is a dream, especially in the winter when it can get cold at night. You know those real estate photos that make a house look larger? Well, Lynn's photos make the place look smaller. Plenty of space for a couple with a convenient kitchen. The biggest attraction is the radiant in-floor heating in the bathroom. So nice to stand after a shower and feel the warmth moving up from the feet. Got a sense of the outdoors between the wide open space around the cabin where a buck was chasing females for hours one evening. Definitely a beauty and at an great price. Can't beat that.

We had the opportunity to stay here as guests when the hosts were first getting the place ready to share two years ago. It's every bit as charming, welcoming and comfortable now as it was then with some nice touches added. We look forward to staying with Josh and Gretchen again for another perfect quiet family getaway.

This was my 2nd (2-week stay) at Sarah's place. The house is comfortable the location is in a very walkable area of Cortez.

We just snuck away for a night and got to enjoy a beautiful sunset and watch the deer meandering around the yard by the pond in the morning. Very relaxing.

This is such a cozy and delightful place to stay! Close enough to town for many options for dining, but also close to many trailheads. Stunning views out the window every morning. The water pressure isn’t great (as forewarned) but the tiny house was still a great place and to stay. If you’re tall like me, you might want to sleep on the futon instead or you can be brave and just duck while in the loft :)

Libby’s place may be small in space, but it’s big in comfort & all things cozy!! We adventured during the days & enjoyed dinner on the grill or on top of the tiny stove after while playing a game of cards or watching a favorite movie together. Sleeping well was much appreciated after our long days, and we did just that with the quiet country as a backdrop & plenty of blankets to keep warm! We do plan to return to the area sooner than later and hoping our new found home-away-from-home will be a available then, Thank You!

If you want to go somewhere where you can be at peace and feel like home, this is the place to go. Lisa And Billy make you feel like you are family as soon as you meet them. Amazing people! Vert accommodating, helpful and just a joy to be around. We would love to stay there every time we are in the area. Absolutely worth it!

This house is very nice. Really well-stocked kitchen, well-decorated, and super clean. Great king size bed. Farm fresh eggs in the fridge are a great bonus! The host accurately described that the house is a duplex with an RV pad in back. Be aware that you may hear an occasional voice/noise from the adjacent unit if it's occupied, in addition to occasional noise if RVs are being removed or parked in back. The last quarter-mile dirt road to the house is a little rough, so drive slowly (especially if you get in after dark!). If I'm in the area I would stay here again.

First off, this was our first time staying at an Air B&B. What an amazing experience. Cami's description of the house was accurate. The communication was excellent. We loved the house and it was perfect for our families to hang out. The kids loved having the loft to call their own space. The property is beautiful and private. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone.
