Lucindas apartment was lovely. It was beautifully decorated with very nice furniture. Very comfortable and spacious. We were able to enjoy the roof top terrace which was very nice. Lucinda was very helpful with a lot of local recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing and things to do Evora is a small and friendly city with easy walking. We would love to go back.

Séjour de 5 jours. Logement très agréable avec un super extérieur aménagé. Piscine au top. Très propre et spacieux pour notre famille de 4. Tout confort et très bien équipé. Hôte très réactif et agréable. Accueillis par Annibal qui est très serviable et adorable. Une région riche en visites et lacs aménagés pour la baignade. Très bon séjour même si effectivement les cloches de l'église pourraient perturber mais on s'y habitue!

A Maria José foi incrível, recebeu-nos de forma impecável mesmo apesar de termos chegado 4 horas atrasadas e já depois da 00h. Deixou-nos pão e vinho regional, apresentou-nos toda a casa com todo o detalhe, o quintal e tudo mais (mesmo sendo +00h, relembro) e sempre disponível para qualquer duvida nossa, ainda deixou recomendações de vários planos para o fim de semana ali por perto. Deixou o seu contacto dizendo para contactarmos a qualquer hora e para qualquer questão, muito querida! Durante a estadia a casa era muito mais maravilhosa do que parecia nas fotos, estava super quentinha quando chegamos, o quintal é incrível, com o jacuzzi e a vista para as ovelhas e céu estrelado! A cozinha estava mega equipada e ainda com várias especiarias, azeite, limões e laranja. Foi sem dúvida uma experiência muito boa e a repetir! Para um retiro em família/amigos ou romântico incrível! We had a lovely stay at Joaquim’s place. It is a large studio space (possibly a former dance studio?), with a well equipped kitchen. We loved the swimming pool and it was so welcome in the heat. Joaquim was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and also provided good information on Moura. The supermarkets are conveniently close at hand, and everything in the town is walking distance. We tried a couple of restaurants - Vermulhudo and André’s - both really good with a lively atmosphere. We climbed to the top of the tower at the castle, had a boat trip at the Alqueva dam, visited the oil press museum and generally enjoyed Moura which is very pretty. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Évora is a beautiful city, and Susana’s house offers great access to it all. It was comfortable and clean as well! I would highly recommend!

I did not have the pleasure to meet Isabel but Carlos was a very friendly and communicative person with interesting stories to tell. He did everything to make my stay comfortable so I enjoyed my time there, especially the wonderful nature around..

Es la segunda vez que quedamos aquí. El piso es precioso, uno de los mejores Airbnb que hemos usado. Tiene de todo, hasta los detalles que no esperas como un cepillo de dientes o jabón para la lavadora. Veronica responde super rápido a cualquier pregunta y es muy amable. La zona es ideal, llegas a todo sitio fácilmente. Tenía que tele trabajar un par de días y fue un lujo trabajar allí.

Apartamento exatamente como nas fotos. No centro da cidade mas muito sossegado. Dormimos super bem, cama muito confortável. A Ana Paula foi muito atenciosa, perstável e simpática. Apartamento muito limpo e prático. Gostámos de tudo inklusive dos miminnhos que a Ana Paula nos deixou à chegada e agradecemos. Esperamos voltar um dia.

Sehr modern Wohnung in einem alten Haus. Einrichtung, Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sind Top. Der Zugang zu den Räumlichkeiten erfolgt über eine Treppe. Sehr professionelle Betreuung durch den Gastgeber. Parkplätze und Restaurants waren in geringer Entfernung vorhanden. Absolut empfehlenswert.

We only had one night here but the apartment was our favourite airbnb in Portugal so far - and we have now stayed in 4 different locations. The apartment was really cute, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The location was great as well. It was a five minute walk to all the main sites in Evora. We had a little scare with our check in process as we didn’t hear from the host by the check in time for instructions, but we did hear from them a few minutes before we actually arrived so all was well in the end! We enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it for anyone wanting to stay here. Just a note- it was not a problem for us- but there is a large staircase to enter the apartment so be aware if you are travelling with heavy bags.

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

Susana was an amazing host who is highly experienced in providing detailed information & suggestions. Above & beyond in responding & very genuine. Hope to return to Évora in the future & look forward to reconnecting with Susana.

A wonderful place to enjoy Évora and the Alentejo wine region! The location is perfect for walking to the Roman Temple, Chapel of Bones, Cathedral of Évora, so many restaurants and even a fantastic spa! It was great having a mini-split in the bedrooms and the living area. We could keep everyone in our group happy with a nice temperature. Celeste was great in helping us get picked up at the train station when we arrived. We look forward to coming back to Évora!

Incredible! How often do you get the chance to stay in a historic 500 year old mansion that is literally listed in the guide book! So beautiful, completely renovated and modern yet historic, quiet and comfortable. We ate our breakfast on the rooftop and could see the entire city. A dream.
