Our 2nd stay in Casa Gisela, 3rd time in Las Flores. A magical, marvelous place, if you want peace, serenity, privacy, wildlife, quiet places to walk, gorgeous views of the lake and sunsets. You can see Arenal Volcano - find the little path to the side of the house. No need for AC - we slept with all of the windows open in the house. Close to Nuevo Arenal, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, local grocery stores. Check out Casa Italia, Moya's, and Cafe con Amor. We felt like this was our home away from home. Make sure to walk the neighborhood trail through the jungle, and find the "secret" pond. This place is paradise - we lived on the back porch for breakfast doing backyard birdwatching. If you love birds, this is the place for you. We exceeded our watermelon budget keeping the platform feeder stocked - fortunately, watermelons were on sale. Oropendolas, aracaris, chachalacas, crested guans, toucans, magpie jays, various tanagers, hummingbirds, etc. Perfect weather, too...

By far the best service we’ve had with an Airbnb! felipe was so responsive and thoughtful. The house’s view was AMAZING, and we immediately warmed up the hot tub and had a sunset plunge over looking the city. The kitchen was PERFECT! It was equipped with everything you needed, and the laundry and tv and A/C’s all worked great! We loved being able to walk to the nearby restaurant and the layout was perfect for our big group. It felt like a HOME, and we felt so taken care of while we were there. We even hired a babysitter through Felipe for our toddler and she was the best babysitter we’ve ever had! Our four-night stay over the New Year’s Eve holiday at Volare was nothing short of magical! It was the perfect setting for our family to come together and celebrate the start of a new year. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how peaceful and beautiful the home was. The natural light pouring through the windows made the entire house feel warm and inviting, and we couldn’t get enough of the stunning views—especially the clouds and the birds that graced the sky each morning. Tucker was a fantastic host, always available and ready to help with anything we needed. It was clear that she cares deeply about the space and her guests. Yamilet, the property manager, was so friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless and felt like a true retreat. This was the perfect escape for our family to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the holiday. We can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore, this home is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to return!

Our family loved staying at Juliet’s Coffee House! My husband is a coffee connoisseur, so he loved the smell of the nearby mill and delicious coffee served throughout Santa Maria. Beyond the coffee, the hospitality and amenities were top-notch. Plus, we were able to meet Juliet personally, and she was wonderful. There was a little trail for us to walk through the trees to look for wildlife, and in the morning we could watch people harvesting coffee beans right outside of our windows. We felt so integrated into the coffee community that we came to explore! I would without a doubt recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to explore Santa Maria and nearby towns.

Cindy’s condo is the perfect retreat for a family, or for a group. It is incredibly spacious, with more room than the pictures can show. The view of San Jose was gorgeous day and night. The pool was public to the condo, and was heated. The drive Into San Jose was a touch longer than expected, but that was no biggie due to all of the other amenities. Lots of balcony space, on multiple levels have great indoor/outdoor experiences. Definitely would stay again.

I don’t even know where to start when describing the amazing experience I had at Leidy’s place. Not only was the condo beautiful, relaxing, and inspiring with the Japandi style of it, but Leidy was SO accommodating and even left me a birthday surprise. She helped with my transportation and local recommendations. I truly felt safe and as though I was right at home. Although it was a condo building with plenty of tenants, I had so much privacy and felt very comfortable. Whenever I visit Costa Rica in the future, Lord willing, I plan to book with Leidy ❤️

Good place, suite number 4 was musty and had a weird smell. Apart from that suites1, 2, 3 and 5 were very nice. The place is quite simplistic and probably overpriced a bit but can accommodate a lot of people…

We had an amazing stay at this house! It was very spacious and perfect for our group of 13 people. We absolutely loved having access to two pools, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including matches to light our birthday candles, which was a nice touch! The space for three cars was more than enough, and we loved that the beach was just 600 meters away. We truly enjoyed every moment here, and we will definitely be coming back in the future. Highly recommended!

Not only is this my favorite Airbnb I’ve stayed in, it is also one of the most beautiful and thoughtfully decorated homes I’ve stepped foot in. If design and ambience are important to you, you could truly ask for nothing more than what Pura Verde has to offer. The location is about 40 minutes from any major “tourist” excursions, but the drive is easy enough, and worth the distance for the serenity of this home and all the hospitality that the small town of Nuevo Arenal has to offer. Danielle is a sweet and communicative host. She responded immediately to all of my questions and concerns. I always try to plan vacations to someplace new, but it will be hard not to return to Nuevo Arenal to stay in this house specifically. Thank you, Danielle! 💛

We enjoy a lot to spend holidays in this place, is peaceful, beautiful and confortable, I really recommend Villa Corazon. Looking forward to come back soon.

I’ll start with what you need to know. Yes, the airBNB is on private 4 acre lot. Yes the room was as clean and well designed as the pictures depicted. Yes there is lots of parking on the property. Yes the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, utensils, plates, cups and extras like sugar, cooking oil and coffee. Yes there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Yes this property is in mountains, but Uber can take you anywhere for cheap. My family and I were lucky enough to book this place for almost 6months. Erika was very attentive and kind to us our entire stay. Sure this is her business, but every exchange felt genuine. My boys absolutely loved being here with so much room to play and run around. Weekly, Ilse and KB switched our linens, gived us fresh towels, cleaned the entire bathroom and swept our floors. Mr. Orlando and Guillermo worked swiftly to address all grounds related issues. This team of four worked really well together to ensure our comfort. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Beautiful view and sunsets. Beautiful house! Well stocked kitchen. A/C in bedrooms. Indoor/outdoor living in main area was great with power shades for the afternoon sun. No blinds on large windows in bedrooms. Pick up groceries on your way up as there are no stores within walking distance. A 4x4 is needed. We found a Brazilian wandering spider in our vanity drawer in the bathroom. Be aware and shake out shoes and clothing, etc.

This home was wonderful! It quickly became mine and my families peaceful escape in a foreign land. It’s spacious and most importantly it’s clean. The pictures are not an exaggeration, the views are beautiful from all angles. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone trying to escape the chaos of the city.
