This place was great, very close walk to the beach. Great Thai restaurant across the street, and very close the main street of Jaco. The A/C was great, the shipping container unique! Our shipping container (Oceania) had a small bridge that we had to walk across to access the front door which could be trickier to access. We enjoyed our stay!

I would highly recommend this spot during your stay in Monteverde. Incredible indoor and outdoor space, walkable, and a great host - very responsive and great recommendations!

I really enjoyed my stay at Isaiah and Tatiana's place, it felt like home! The kitchen is well equiped. Just a 10 mins walk to the beach with a handful of restaurants along the way, a mini super for basic needs and a wonderful fruit stand nearby, their place is well located ans safe. I felt at ease leaving my motorcycle in their locked yard. The shared outside space was really comfortable and relaxing, I spent many mornings in the hamac reading or watching howler monkeys. Tatiana is a wonderful host and was very fast to reply to my messages. I would definitely stay here again!

Cabane atypique dans un très bel environnement. Nous avons croisé Alvaro avant l’heure d’arrivée qui nous a indiqué que l’on pouvait prendre possession des lieux avant. Nous avons vraiment passé un bon moment.

A BEAUTIFUL oasis and amazing deal. We felt so welcomed by the staff working there, especially Amanda. The grounds were stunning with plans through, the pool was a treat! Breakfast was made fresh and delicious. We loved our private shower outside the room. The yoga studio was stunning and such a great class. Short walk to the beach and local restaurants. We'll be back!

Excelente casa, muy bien ubicada cerca de playa blanca, que es una playa bella y familiar. La casa es linda, acogedora muy bien espacio para cocinar y compartir. Fede excelente comunicacion

Rodrigo was an excellent host. The place is kind of quirky, but we ended up really liking it. The property is private and has a lot of space. It's about a 7 minute drive to the Playa Avellanas beach. It has a great Bar/restaurant within walking distance. Just a couple minutes away. Rodrigo was very accommodating. The place worked well for my family of 5. I would definitely stay here again. Just realize that the place is not exactly where it shows up on the map for Airbnb. You will need to get the directions from Rodrigo. It's not as close to the beach as it appears on the Airbnb map. But again, it's only about a seven minute drive.

El lugar es hermoso. Está cerca de puerto viejo pero alejado del ruido. Muchos pajaritos y naturaleza. Se descansa muy bien

Yahayra y su familia fueron muy amables al recibirnos, y se preocuparon por un adulto mayor con el que fuimos para que tuviera todas las comodidades. El lugar cuenta con muchas áreas sociales y por las noches se aprecia una linda vista, muy recomendado.

Nous avons passé 2 jours très bien, studio impeccable, moderne, avec tout ce qu'il faut. Juste une petite table en +, et ça sera parfait

We stayed at Carlos’ place for 10 nights and it had everything we needed. It was important to us to be able to cook our own meals and we had everything we needed to do that. It was a close to drive to everything and only took 10 minutes or so to get anywhere, location was perfect for us. The drive was easy and the place was easily accessible by car. The neighbours are very close, although we never saw them, we could hear them- but it wasn’t bothersome at all. Felt very safe and comfortable. If your looking for something that’s close to everything, is simple, safe and affordable- this is it! Also, Carlos was really great to communicate with. We didn’t have any issues, but had questions about places to go and things to see and he gave us SO much information that might have otherwise been hard to find on our own!

My stay at Jessica's place was fantastic from start to finish. Everything is very well done on the inside, beautiful landscaping, and the pool is a treat! I especially appreciated the kitchen amenities of great appliances, and nice dishes. Seems that a lot of thought went into preparing this space for guests. I was so comfortable there and look forward to staying again.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely Airbnb overlooking the ocean. The view was breathtaking, especially during sunset—it felt like we were in a postcard every evening. The location was ideal for a romantic escape, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to unwind and reconnect. One of the highlights was the convenience of having a restaurant right outside. The free breakfast was delicious, and the complimentary cocktail upon arrival was such a nice touch—it really set the tone for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The only minor downside was that it could get a bit noisy during prime dinner hours, but in our experience, everything quieted down after 10-10:30 PM. It didn’t detract from our overall experience, as we spent most of our evenings enjoying the serene ocean views anyway. This place is perfect for couples looking for a peaceful yet convenient

The space was beautiful- unbeatable view from bed and the deck. We saw multiple rainbows when we were there. Wilfredy and his father have true roots in MonteVerde. Despite the language barrier- I had beautiful and meaningful interactions with Willem (Wilfredy’s father). Thank you for hosting us

Edlin’s container was great. It is just as described, in a nice neighborhood surrounded by woods. There were a bunch of birds, a couple of white rabbits and we heard the howler monkeys everyday. The place is close to many of the beaches and parks. Edlin was great. She communicated well, made sure we had everything we needed.

I noticed this Airbnb 3 years ago and it was the reason that encouraged me to visit Costa Rica. After seeing this Airbnb unit the first time I knew I made no mistake visiting this beautiful part of the world. The unit is Rustic and more functional and desirable than I have expected. Surrounded with natural greenery, singing birds, and friendly neighbors. The drive to it was intimidating at first impression. But it added to the charm as a I got off the beaten pass. It lead lead me onto the Guiones Sur sandy beach. Then into a hidden rural dirt road which guided me into the my 3 night stay… I wish I could have stayed longer. If you stay here you must experience the sun setting down. Walk out to the beach approximately 4:30pm and wait for to the sun to set over the Pacific Ocean horizon… it’s magical. I shall return. Pura Vida!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Das Haus hatte alles, was man braucht, und war äußerst sauber und gepflegt. Die wunderschöne Natur in der Umgebung hat uns sofort begeistert, perfekt zum Entspannen und Erholen. Die Küchenausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen und hatte alles, was man zum Kochen benötigt. Auch die Einrichtung des Hauses war geschmackvoll und gemütlich, sodass wir uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Ein großes Dankeschön an den Gastgeber, der sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich war.

Great place in the rainforest. The home has everything you need and the five of us (3 adults and 2 children) were comfortable when we were there. There was even a crib for our youngest. The host was very communicative. The only minor issue we had was the google pin was not accurate - about 2.5 miles wrong, but we were on the correct dirt road. The gps coordinates got us the rest of the way. Note, the provided directions are from town! Also, you are in the rainforest and it rains - the home has a metal roof :).

The setting of this place is idyllic and it comes equipped with everything you could ask for. The place itself is really cool. If you don't mind something a bit more rustic you can't go wrong!

We love Nashes place! We stayed here 2 years in a row and would highly reccomend she is fabulous, and we love her unique shopping container rental! Quiet and close walking distance to some great food!

Llegar a Selva Negra y su estadía es un trozo de sinergia de armonía, paz, privacidad y naturaleza... simplemente para conectar con el entorno.. y porqué no .. celebrar 15 años de matrimonio fue muy memorable... Así que es un espacio sumamente recomendado para que exista un tiempo de introspección y calidad de paisaje geográfico, para materializar un momento de paz... nota: es un lugar para NO ir un día sino mínimo para dos !! ☺️
