I have not had a better host than Syela. I had last minute requests to check in early and check out late. She responded positively to both requests within minutes. Extremely accommodating. Got the chance to meet her husband. Great guy. Very helpful. Will definitely stay here again and I strongly recommend this location. It’s great to get to Cinque Terre.

Die Gastgeberfamilie - Barbara, Roberto und ihre Tochter Michela - sind ausgesprochen nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kamen anders als geplant erst spätabends an, aber die Kommunikation mit Michela lief problemlos per SMS und trotz der Sprachbarriere (wir sprechen kein Italienisch und Barbara und Roberto kein Englisch), wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist wie ein eigenes kleines Haus, auch wenn sie direkt an das Haus der Familie grenzt. Sie ist wirklich schön und dabei gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet. Wir wurden mit köstlichen kleinen Kuchen und frischen Eiern verwöhnt und fanden immer ein offenes Ohr für Fragen. Nach unseren Ausflügen nach Pisa, Florenz, San Gimignano ... war es immer eine Freude, in unser ruhiges "Zuhause" zurückkehren zu können. Danke und liebe Grüße aus Berlin!

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa casa nel periodo della fiera di Lucca. Gli host ci hanno subito accolto calorosamente, assieme alla dolcissima cagnolina Luna, facendoci sentire come fossimo a casa nostra. La casa si trova sopra una collinetta di Balbano, garantendo quindi un ottimo silenzio. Avendo un grande giardino, presenta anche un ampio parcheggio, che non è da sottovalutare. La casa è ancora in fase di ristrutturazione quindi è sì una bella casa, ma con ancora qualche piccolo accorgimento mancante. In generale una bella esperienza.

This is a great Airbnb and Franco is a truly wonderful host! He met us at our arrival, helped us check in, and had lots of great suggestions and info about the town and the areas. (We took his suggestion for the best pizza in Vernazza and we were so happy that we did!) The apartment has a quirky charm that we enjoyed -- lots of books, stylish furniture, and interesting art to look at...but mostly we looked out at the amazing view of the town and the ocean from the terrace. Soggiorno piacevolissimo. L’appartamento è proprio sulle piste ed è perfetto per chi vuole sciare. Accogliente e caldo, ci siamo trovati molto bene.

Ottima posizione per visitare la Liguria, cordialità, pulizia ed ambienti spaziosi e ben divisi nell'appartamento.

We had a very relaxing few days staying with Lucy and her family, and their dog Amber. They were really friendly and welcoming, and always ready to answer any queries we had. The pool area was lovely, and extremely peaceful. The accommodation was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The village is small with a butchers and bakers, a couple of restaurants and a bar. We did a lovely circular walk from the property through the woods to the nearby hill top village, Castel Vecchio. There’s nothing in the village but it’s very pretty and the views are great. You need a car to get to the supermarket and Lucca is a very easy 20 minute drive away. We had a super time and thank you Lucy for your generous hospitality.

Francesca’s place is a gem not to be missed. Francesca’s communication was great and we were sent really clear instructions on how to arrive. Our flight was slightly delayed so we were arriving later than expected and Francesca’s mother was kind enough to come out in the rain to meet us and show us where to park. The location is perfect in the larger of the 5 towns, easily accessible to the beach with a 10 minute walk by road or 5 minute short cut down approx 150 steps (we managed these easily with our 6month old in a baby carrier, however for those less able to manage the steps the road walk has no steps). The balcony is a perfect spot for breakfast or an evening glass of wine with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and the ocean. From this location it’s very easy to visit all 5 villages via foot, boat or train. We travelled with our 6 month old and found that Monterosso was the best for children due to its beach and it’s much flatter than the other villages.
