Really lovely location, staff were friendly and helpful and the apartment was clean and comfortable. The mattresses felt pretty worn in the middle and in need of changing. Otherwise everything was perfect! Gym, spa and pool are amazing and accessible for most of the day and evening.

Just recently returned from an amazing weekend to celebrate my partners 50th birthday! From the moment I booked Eleanor was fantastic, she organised for birthday balloons and a bottle of bubbly and went out of her way to make it special. The apartment was spotless, and felt home from home. The spa … amazing! Again spotless and so relaxing. If you are looking for a place to get away to unwind…this is definitely the place to book. Thank you Eleanor and Wayne for making this weekend special, and for being perfect hosts. Will definitely be returning at some point!

Fabulous accommodation, clean, fresh, welcoming, luxurious and so relaxing. Perfect for our family break to rest and unwind. Facilities onsite were enjoyed and local area has so much to explore. Definitely recommend!

My engineers have been staying here on and off for months now. Absolute place if choice for them always when working in the area due to the amenities provided. Always also never had any issue with regard to check in, check out or with any of the various properties I book offered by the host in the area.

Absolutely beautiful place. Tony and Rosemary provided everything we needed for a long weekend relaxing stay. Their communication was excellent and they were always on hand to answer questions. I loved having a hot tub, which made the value great. The area was very peaceful and private, and in easy driving distance of lots of local attractions. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

The retreat is in a beautiful location , surrounded by hills, countryside and lovely walks. The property was beautifully clean and welcoming and the swimming pool is an amazing facility. Everything was perfect , and we will definitely be back.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The property is in an idyllic location. The peaceful atmosphere made for a very relaxing few days. Agnes always responded to any requests and I would love to return sometime in the future.

We had a really relaxing stay at Victoria's place. We were lucky to have glorious sunshine and made full use of the hot tub which was a real bonus. The place was immaculate. Our dog loved the space. Went down to Usk and had lovely scampi and chips at the Castle Inn. Well worth a visit. Craig and Vicky, the owners were friendly and we enjoyed our chat with them. It was a pleasure meeting them. We had a fantastic stay at Nicola’s house, which was perfect for three families coming together. The on-site pool was a great addition, and the Ballihoo restaurant was both welcoming and convenient ideal for everything from a morning coffee to an evening meal. The house was spotlessly clean, with three excellent bathrooms plus a downstairs toilet, making it ideal for a group stay. We would love to return in the summer to fully enjoy the surroundings, but even in the colder months, the cosy wood fire made it a wonderful retreat.

Beautiful space and surroundings, incredibly clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend away. Neil was so helpful and friendly. We were greeted with a beautiful hamper of goodies and we were running a little late on check out day and Neil was flexible with a later check out. Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect cottage for families with an on site restaurant, takeaway pizza and great walks nearby. Cottage was clean with a log burner and selection of games to keep us entertained!

This has to be the most eclectic house we have stayed in as a family, but it provided constant entertainment and sparked imaginations. There is lots of room inside for 9 people a dog and a baby. The separate dining area and sittings rooms allowed people to be together and have private time. The garden area available was small for a large gathering but Barry was willing to open up further garden to us on asking. The sauna was a nice touch. There were enough bathrooms and the kitchen was equipped and functional The house is old as it says in the descriptions so if you have difficulty climbing stairs it would not be for you. The layout and contents of the house are not toddler friendly. There is no onsite parking, but the car park is a short distance away. The village is quaint and the coop very near by. We can recommend the tea shop, and would recommend booking early is you want to eat in the pub next door. There are lots of walks nearby and buses to other villages.

Lovely home, in a beautiful location! Perfect for a group trip loved having the hot tub available. Well equipped kitchen and lots of games available to play too. Great digital guide which was useful. And thank you for the welcome basket of goodies!
