We were in town for a Celebration of Life for mom and wanted a four bedroom, two bath home. This home was perfect for our needs. Beth was very accommodating and quickly responded to my questions. The home was very clean and comfortable. Everyone was pleased with our choice. The decks and spacious yard made us feel though we were on a vacation. I would definitely go back again if we were in the area!

Wish I could put 100 stars!! Such a beautiful big clean and well maintained home for family gatherings! We came to Cannon Falls for a wedding and wished we were coming for a week! This beautiful home has everything you want and more! Private and peaceful and a deck on the back that is amazing!! Do not hesitate to book this home you will not regret it!! Cory and his wife are super helpful with a fast response time!

This place was perfect for my family. The Sauna in the basement was excellent bonus for us. Very centrally located next to everything. The kitchen had everything you need to make a gourmet meal for the family!

I enjoyed our evening stay here. The yard was perfect for my dog, and I really liked the layout of the space. The check in and out process was also seamless.

We stayed for a long weekend with our adult children and grandchildren. We had stayed at this place many years ago when owned by the previous owner, we loved the transformation. It was just a beautiful place. The pool was a huge hit, pool room full of fun pool toys and floats for the kids. The kids absolutely loved it. A nice upper balcony for the nonswimmers to watch the fun also. There was not a main floor bedroom, 3 great bedrooms upstairs and 2 in the basement, along with a smaller family room down there that the kiddos enjoyed while playing video games. Carbone's pizza was a few miles away and they delivered! The expansive kitchen/dining area was amazing. The only very minor suggestion would be in that large kitchen to have a second set of silverware. There were only a total of 8 forks for our family of 11. Obviously did not detract from how nice of a place this is and we would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay with our extended family at this property. The spacious house was perfect for our gathering, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. We especially loved watching the comings and goings of hundreds of Canadian geese, trumpeter swans, bald eagles, herons, and other birdlife from the large picture window in the main room. I've never seen anything like it! Staying here in the winter, we especially appreciated the working fireplace, which made the common area feel warm and inviting; a perfect spot to gather and spend time together. The fully equipped kitchen made preparing family meals easy, and the large dining table was perfect not only for sharing meals together but also for playing games afterward.

Great house within walking distance to downtown Northfield. You will love the kitchen with everything that you might need to cook. We appreciated the local coffee and real coffeepot (no Kreurig, yay!). Sunny and welcoming living room was a great spot to relax. We would love to return.

We had a lovely stay at this quiet upper floor rental. Comfortable beds; excellent curtains and shades to keep out the light in the mornings, but beautiful windows to let the light in during the day; I especially loved the chair in the living room. Lots of great places to eat just a few minutes walk away. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Bob and Lisa's place was perfect! I was there alone, and the space was the perfect size for a solo trip or for a couple to spend a peaceful time away. Bob saw me pull up and greeted me as I arrived, making sure I could get in ok. There was a thoughtful written welcome message on a board outside the door. The lake view and birds were fun to watch (including an eagle that swooped down to snag a branch from the tree for her nest). The place is stocked with everything you need, including snacks and just about every option of coffee making you need. I saw Bob and Lisa enjoying a fire and joined them, having a very pleasant conversation. The neighborhood looks like it would be busy based on the number of houses, but this place is at the end of the road, and there is an ordinance for quiet time at 10pm. It was super peaceful there!

Loved our stay. We were 3 couples & a dad/5yo in town for a family event at Macalester. There was ample room for us to be private in our rooms or socialize in living room and at meals. House has beautiful sun and is decorated tastefully in an eclectic style. Neighborhood and house are super-quiet but groceries/pharmacy/great restaurants/public transport are nearby (loved Punch for pizza). Beds a tad soft for my liking. Ample sheets and towels. Good wifi. Kitchen had all the staples--coffee, spices, oil, cleaning goods, paper goods. There were a few toys and books for the 5 yo. Our host was super-responsive and flexible about meeting our needs.

Had a great stay! Just as listed. Nice touch of complementary waters and chocolate bar. Was perfect for my needs.

Super comfortable place while I experienced a stressful hospitalization of my Dad. It was a perfect spot near the hospital and gave me a great night sleep with everything I needed. Very grateful for this place!

Had a very nice long weekend at Susan and Nick's. The apartment was comfortable and immaculate. Very convenient to Northeast Minneapolis. Located on a quiet street.

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

Great place to stay! We were with our 8 month old and Brett made the space so welcoming and helpful, as we were travelling internationally. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful setting, peaceful, comfortable place - only a little tough to find food if you arrive later when restaurant options might be closed (especially if vegetarian) because it is a rural area. Friendly, responsive hosts.

Our group of 6 adults absolutely loved staying here over Christmas week while visiting family in the area. The house is beautiful, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The area is very safe and you can't beat a lake view, even in winter. We found just about everything we needed in the kitchen and appreciated there was lots of space to cook and store food. There were quite a few things to clean before heading out, but we spread it out over the night before we left and morning of, no big deal since we had lots of helpers. We played a couple rounds of cornhole in the garage, which was so fun! We would definitely stay here again!!

We enjoyed a quiet relaxing weekend stay! Peaceful, quiet, and clean cabin. Additionally, we really enjoyed the hot tub.

Hard to capture our stay in a short review. This was a picture perfect spot. No detail or expense has been spared. The decor is beautiful and fun. The spaces are cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is spectacular. We loved everything about the Backwater. Sarah is an awesome host and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We can’t wait to return!!

Our stay at Hygge Valley Hideaway was a picture perfect weekend. Kammi was a wonderful host who clearly loves this property. The cabin-feel was so cozy, the sunset views were spectacular, and everything was clean and clearly marked. We loved our visit!

I was very impressed with the place by the lake very nice Sadie is a great person and had the opportunity to meet her at the venue that my son was having his wedding reception. We are already planning our next visit. Also the Hot Tub was ready to go when we got there Thanks John
