we had to get together for a late Thanksgiving early Christmas out of town family and this was the perfect home to host that! Everything was well laid out, there was activities from our youngest to the oldest, we had great weather, so was able to sit in the backyard with a fire a few nights. We spent a lot of time cooking as a family, and the kitchen was perfect for that. I highly recommend Brickside Beds and will be telling family about it in the future!

We stayed here for a girls weekend with 12 women. The place was spacious and was easy to spread out. The pool table and bar rooms were great for gathering. The location was great too! The backyard/patio was peaceful and made you feel like you were out in nature but the house was located in town near all the amenities we needed. We were 5 mins from a nice hike at Warner Memorial Park, 10 minutes to Liquid Art Winery, and 10 mins to Tallgrass Tap House

Laura was a great host! A few friends and I came to Emporia for a disc golf weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The property was within short driving distance to some of the best disc golf in Kansas. And we really enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit in the evening after a long day of disc. Would definitely stay again.

I really loved the layout and cow designs

This is the second time we have booked Lisa & Tim’s place. It is such a beautiful property. The house reminds me of childhood days spent at my grandparents’ farm. Lovely furnishings and amenities in peaceful, private surroundings. Truly an escape that makes you feel right at home and encourages you to slow down and savor life. Thank you Tim & Lisa - we will be back again!

We booked our stay about 2 weeks out to attend my sons sporting event, I needed to add one more guest mid-week Heather was very responsive to messages before arrival. My children (13,10,5) really enjoy the outdoors and were ready to explore the property as soon as we parked. Our stay wasn't as long as we'd like with our early morning departure, if we are ever back in the area needing to stay, we'll definitely be checking availability. The farm store was open when we arrived, it offered milk (I'm guessing from their milk barn on property), meats, homemade soaps, honey and apple butter. Seeing the farm animals out and about on the property was an added bonus.

Felix and Kate worked great to make our stay wonderful. The previous guests had broken a few of the vertical blinds and did not report it. We called kind of early evening and they were able to replace them within a few hours. I was grateful they replced them so quickly and we had our privacy back, :) I'd stay again and again. THANKS!
