A lovely stay in Mairead and Hugh’s beautiful cottage! The house is utterly gorgeous – comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen and a lovely, cosy, rustic vibe. The interior decor is stunning with lots of thoughtful touches like the giant claw foot bathtub and the big fluffy pillows. The view from the garden is phenomenal and we spent a lovely evening in the hot tub watching the sun go down! Mairead and Hugh were the perfect hosts – helpful when we needed them but never invasive, and the homemade wheaten bread and jam that was waiting for us was a lovely welcoming touch! All in all a perfect stay and we can’t wait to come back some time.

The Tom Crean cabin is fantastic. The decor is something else and it overlooks the farm with the Highland cows roaming around. It even included a stove with a few logs to get a fire going at night. Paul was an absolute legend, one of the most interesting people I’ve ever spoken to! And he was so easy going, and helpful, it made our stay so enjoyable. Would definitely be recommending to my friends!

This cottage is an absolute gem! It is quiet, remote, full of charm and set at the entrance to a stunning drive through a remote valley. Noreen was friendly, helpful, a good communicator and everything you hope your host would be. We had a lovely family holiday break here and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We stayed in this beautiful place, away from the crowds and overlooking Mount Errigal. The location is stunning — on clear days, you can see the sea and rolling hills. Caoimhe’s house opens onto peaceful bogland, and we went for walks there every day. It’s simply beautiful. The house is fully loaded. Just bring your clothes and food. The fireplace with two big couches was perfect after long days of hiking and exploring — some of our favourite moments. We also enjoyed chatting with Ian and their son, Luke. On the last day, Ian left us with a question that kept us thinking the whole way home. An added bonus: Loki, the friendly border collie, and three playful cats (the “Gucci gang”) are always around. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to unplug and just be.

A fantastic stay at Rosies Cottage for my whole family & our dog. We felt instantly at home & the cottage was super clean & so homely. Made even better by wonderful hosts always happy to help with any local information etc. Close to some beautiful attractions without feeling to touristy. Would definitely recommend & we will mostly certainly go back again.

Amagical location on the wild Atlantic coast. Rustic, warm, comfortable, especially iwhen the rain and wind screams across the dunes. a wonderful getaway, a place to find peace and relaxation. Loved it!

Absolutely superb place to stay - a beautiful house in beautiful quiet surroundings, but close enough to the town if needed. Lots of toys, books and facilities for the kids, and spacious and comfortable for the adults, with all mod cons provided for. Our host James was excellent - on hand if we needed anything, and check in and out was easy. Overall our large party was delighted with the house and our stay, can 100% recommend for any potential travellers, and it would be a pleasure to stay there again!

James place was magical. The view from it was stunning. The kitchen was spotless and well equipped and the entire house was spotless. We would definitely stay there again.

Damian’s place is heaven - in the middle of the countryside, with beautiful views, but only 15 mins from Letterkenny and Glenveagh National Park. The Byre is so well laid out, furnished and equipped, it makes an extremely comfortable and relaxing base to explore northern Donegal, with a host of beautiful and interesting places within a half hour drive. Damian and his family are superlative hosts. The information provided ahead of check-in was spot-on, he was flexible about the check-in time, and super-responsive to every communication. We only stayed a few days here but this would be a great place for a longer visit, which we hope to do before too long. Can’t recommend enough - thanks to Damian, Ryan and Sandra!

This is a fantastic place to stay. Great for peace and quiet with stunning views of mountains and sea. Very close to lots of places to visit in Donegal. Brian and Siobhan are ideal hosts. They had lots of good recommendations for a range of activities and places to eat. The house has everything and very comfortable. We’d be delighted to go back again and highly recommend it.

Beautiful 3 bed cottage with plenty of room for us and our 5 young children. The bedrooms were a good size with really nice ensuites and a handy small bathroom by the front door. The kitchen was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Two living spaces with big TVs so we could unwind and light the fire if we wanted. We chatted to Sean and Joe who own the farms and we even got to see some new lambs. The kids loved it. We stayed 8 nights and drove around the sights of Donegal. It is a good base, 10 mins from Letterkenny and near all the main attractions. Glen Veagh was about 15 min drive too.

Stayed here for the bank holiday with our family. This was our first trip with our newborn and we had a very comfortable stay. Best accommodation for a big family staycation. The house is well equipped and well maintained. And situated in a beautiful location. Kevin was a really good host, very responsive and made sure we had a comfortable stay. One of the best Airbnb we stayed in so far.

Great house! Perfect location in a rural setting but not far from beaches, pubs etc. We had 6 friends staying and it was perfect. I think the photos undersell how much communal space there is (kitchen/living + living room + dining sunroom). Only downside was that it seemed like the hosts home, which just meant there was a lot of stuff and clutter

Mary Carpenters Cottage was a magical place to stay. Warm, clean, peaceful countryside location, excellent local pubs & groceries. The host met us in person to explain how everything worked in this unique property & even provided plenty of snacks to welcome us. Even though the cottage was 200+ years old it had all the necessities for a homely stay including watching Netflix in the evening. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect. Location. Facilities. 10 out 10. Great value for money also. Even the dog loved it. Beautiful place. We will for sure be highly recommending your place and for sure 100% will be back. Donegal is a beautiful county and this coming from a Kerry lady ❤️

Peaceful location. Bedrooms small ( larger people would struggle to get round the beds) Quirky but nice.

Michael and Bridie’s farm cottage is just what you want in an Ireland experience. The fireplace and stove are always lit, the kitchen is well appointed, the bathroom large and newly done and the bedrooms sweet and so so quiet. The view is of the sheep in the field - pastoral!. Michael is truly a legend and a hero as he helped a sheep birth twin lambs and we were invited to the miracle! A true and authentic Irish Cottage!!!

We absolutely loved Edel's place. The setting was bucolic, the common areas and bedrooms were immaculate and beautiful. The views of the water with the Hooper swans was lovely, as well as the sheep grazing the distant hills. Everything was comfortable and clean and in working order. The beach nearby was an added bonus! Enjoyed the Smugglers Creek Inn restaurant, as well. We would definitely return. Highly, highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay at Chris's house. It's in a beautiful location, with so much to see and do. The house itself had everything we could possibly need, and it was so lovely to cosy up by the turf fire when the weather turned bad. Chris was the perfect host and we can't wait to return soon.
