Lovely apartment that had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is in a lovely area within walking distance to the town and supermarket, we also managed to get parked on the road every time with no issues. Decorated beautifully and a really comfortable stay! We would stay here again next time!

This accommodation was such a delight to stay in. The host took good care of the rooms and ensure everything worked. I will highly recommend this place for your stay needs.

Very nice place, nice furniture, nice king-size bed. Good TV with Sky. Nice big walk in shower. Good sized Kitchen with a good selection of electrical goods units and utensils. All in all a nicepkace to stay. Barbara and her daughter are very nice and helpful. Good communication I would definitely recommend.

Michael was a friendly, helpful host and the accommodation was great value for money. The kitchen was well kitted out, the bed was comfy, and bathroom facilities more than satisfactory. Definitely recommend.

Excellent place to stay for a quick visit to Durham - it was quiet, very clean and really well kitted out. The beds were comfy, and the heating switched on immediately and got the place toasty very quickly. The biscuits and milk were a nice touch. Could not fault it, and so much better then a comfort Inn or other generic chain hotel. Thanks for the perfect stay.

the flat was exactly like the photos. very clean and full of equipment. easy to station and city center. Gabrielle is very helpful.

Loved Pauline and Bills place. Bill came out to greet us when he saw us arrive and showed my partner round whilst I let the dogs off on their private field to burn off some energy after a long car journey. The loft was beautifully presented, clean and tidy. It had everything we needed for our nights stay including all the amenities we could ask for. The bed was warm and cosy and I need to message the host to ask where they got their pillows from. I am a self confessed bedding snob and those pillows where some of the best I've slept on! Hands down will return - thank you!

Perfect apartment for my situation just what I needed. Chris is a great host really clear commutation through out couldn’t recommend enough if you in the area working or just seeing the town stay here!

If your looking for a nice and quiet accomodation. Then you should stay at Golden Lion in the North Pennines. Great host and delicious food. Thanks again for the tips on my trip, going to the north of Scotland.

Katie’s apartment was beautifully clean and smelt amazing on arrival. Really easy to follow instructions for check in! Comfy beds and lovely decor. Had everything we needed for our two night stay. Would recommend and would stay there again myself!

A lovely place to stay for our weekend when attending a wedding at nearby Middleton Lodge, which is only a two minutes drive away. This is a beautiful and peaceful retreat, yet only a mile or so from the A1 and with lots of idyllic villages to visit in the surrounding areas. The property was exactly as listed and as shown in the photos. Thoughtfully decorated and well equipped, much larger than the average two person property and lovely to have sheep and chickens passing by the living room windows. Having a log burner to use was an added bonus. Fiona's communication was excellent from start to finish, with clear instructions and directions. Would definitely recommend Fiona's property to anyone visiting this part of the country. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer!

Myra is an outstanding host. She was very helpful and quite accommodating. Quick responses and would answer any questions we had before and during the stay. The place was very clean and had everything one would need for a short or long term visit. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Newcastle.

The apartment was well located, close to city centre amenities and bars. Hot tub was switched on for us in advance so was lovely and hot when we wanted to use it! Bedrooms and whole apartment is really well presented and ‘high end’. The hosts had also included milks in the fridge and tea and coffee was also provided. Perfect for the six of us celebrating a birthday together!

Great stay!! Hot tub was immaculate so was the cottage , sofa and bed extremely comfortable and clean. Would 100 percent return here!! Only thing I think it should be 11am checkout and 2pm like alot of other lodges/cottages. Thanks for the little break

thank you Jen and Brian for such a magical stay! we couldn't have asked for more! everything was magnificent, the extra touches to mark Stephen's birthday was touching and memorable, I was also surprised with a bottle of Prosecco, went to view bridal dresses but never found one I liked and brian and Jen were so sweet and still gave it to me lol thank you both! we recommend this place highly, the pictures don't do it justice, you need to experience it yourself. we loved the cosy corner, playing darts, sitting by the fire, chilling on the beach chairs ( i must have these now for our garden lol) and the hot tub is the best we have ever been in. the garden is just stunning and comes alive at night! the bed was super comfy too, got such good sleep. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go again! thanks again to our attentive and wonderful hosts!
