A very enjoyable and therapeutic stay at Lauren's. I felt very safe in the flat. Everything was comfortable, cosy and homely. I wish I could have stayed longer. In terms of amenities, the big Sainsbury's by the roundabout was great and I had a couple of 'Sunday' lunches at Bolam's plus a coffee in shop near the post office/general store. Mainly, I was using the X12 bus (just across the road) to get to and from work but the location is very convenient for the road network, linking across the region.

Lovely apartment that had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is in a lovely area within walking distance to the town and supermarket, we also managed to get parked on the road every time with no issues. Decorated beautifully and a really comfortable stay! We would stay here again next time!

Perfect place to stay when visiting Durham. Clean, spacious, comfortable and convenient for everyday needs. Close to the city centre and easy access by car or bus. Great host. Highly recommend!

Lovely place, me and my family enjoyed staying there. Felt very homely and welcoming. The garden was perfect. Will definately stay again.

My colleague and I stayed at Ross' place for a 6 week contract. The place is nicely situated in walking distance from the town centre, with grocery shopping within driving distance and a Londis, Chinese and fish and chips around the corner. It has good WiFi, a washing machine and good cooking facilities. There were a couple of maintenance issues underway, but Ross was highly responsive and quick to take action. Ross is a great host and was very involved with making our stay as easy as possible. I'd recommend the place to anyone wanting a comfortable base to experience Wensleydale from or anyone that have to stay in the area for work purposes.

The stay was amazing. The house is spacious and perfect for 5 - 6 people. Lineth was a fantastic host.

This was a last minute booking to visit a sick family member. Kendra went above and beyond to help and made us feel welcome. The house is beautifully decorated and stylishly furnished. It is convenient for the town centre with lots of great restaurants and bars. There are nice parks nearby for walks with dogs or children. The little touches make such a difference too, such as essential breakfast items and cakes for a treat as well as a lovely selection of teas and coffee. I would highly recommend this house and Kendra is a superb host.

Stayed for one night ahead of a wedding at Beamish Hall. Emily was super helpful and communicative leading up to our stay. House was clean, well maintained and had all of the amenities and little touches that you would like in a home from home. Would recommend!

I loved my time back Gillian & Paul's flat! This is my second visit and won't be my last. Gillian (and Paul!) are really kind and responsive hosts. They were happy to head over to support for the slightest inconvenience. The property was clean and tidy. I was really happy here :) The property is really convenient - the shopping centre is directly opposite and there is free parking nearby (if there is space). It's just a few minutes walk to the beaches!

Nice and cosy flat. Very clean, nice comfortable bedroom, lovely modern bathroom. Host Rachael was very helpful, very quick to respond. Minor tiff- house difficult to locate, even with map. My parents searched for hours and were quite tired before I arrived to help. But I don’t thinks that’s the hosts’ fault. Greta experience, will use again. Thank you

Wonderful attentive host, easy instructions for check-in, made sure all was well. Property was well cleaned and had basic cooking and serving items for food. Quiet area with parking pace available. Overall an enjoyable stay. Would use again.
