I highly recommend staying at Bellaveeny Lodge, This place is spectacular and John is a fantastic host! He communicated very well leading up to our arrival and was very accommodating with our needs .. We stayed there this weekend for my brother in laws 50th birthday and from the minute we stepped foot in the door we felt instantly welcomed and comfortable. The house itself has so much character, and a delight to stay in. It’s warm and well equipped for your needs. Every bedroom has an en suite and the beds are really comfy. Our group was 8 adults and 4 children. The scenery around there is just incredible and there's lots to do on your doorstep! Your own private bar room and the hot tub are a fabulous bonus to the house and were very much enjoyed by my family.

We chose the cozy cottage for a family get together for my mother’s 60th birthday to play board games and do some karaoke. The cottage comfortably fit all 14 of us and was perfect for what we wanted it for! The cottage is exactly as described - cozy! and felt like a home away from home, the decor and the finish on it was to the highest standard right down to the designer toilet!!The host Patrica gave us the warmest welcome upon our arrival, so much so we would have love if she could have stayed with us! The location was perfect for us and the cottage was enough off the beaten path that our wonderful karaoke renditions were not heard but it was so easy to get to and close to nearby shops and take away which was perfect for what we needed! Patricia also organised freshly baked brown bread and scones along with homemade jam for our breakfast (the basket we received was still warm!). This was such a wonderful touch and the icing on the cake for the wholesome weekend at the cozy cottage!

Cottage by the sea is a beautiful family home in a stunning location. Nothing was any trouble to Simon and our needs were well looked after. the house and gardens were so nice we didn't want to leave, yet there were so many beautiful walks and things to do nearby. A great location for anyone wanting to explore Westport and it's surroundings but want a quieter location just outside the town.

The house was perfect for our family gathering. Great cooking and dining facilities, 2 cosy sitting rooms and 7 en-suite bedrooms, all in a great location in the middle of westport. Paul and Linda gave very clear instructions and responded very quickly to any questions we had. They even left a basket of lovely food and treats for us on arrival. Míle buíochas! We will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at James house - it was clean, comfortable and very cosy! The beds were very comfortable and kitchen perfect for cooking and living in. There was a fire on in the stove when we arrived and made the house so welcoming and cosy. It is in beautiful surroundings with lots of walks and Westport only 15 mins away and plenty of restaurants etc in Murrisk only 5 mins away - great base for exploring Mayo and climbing croagh Patrick and as a family of 5 and 2 dogs it was just perfect! We also went in the free Killary harbour cruise that was offered and it was fantastic - highly recommend! James was very friendly and on hand if needed - we would definitely visit again!

A place where i would like to visit again in the summer if i get a chance. Me and my friends families enjoyed the house and my kids really enjoyed the table tennis board that was in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and cookware. Andy was always in touch to help with anything that we needed.

We had the pleasure of spending a weekend in Westport at John’s place, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The house offers breathtaking views from every window, creating a peaceful and picturesque atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot if you’re visiting with a large group, as there’s plenty of space and comfort for everyone. A huge shoutout to Thomas, a local taxi driver who really made our weekend. He was an absolute gentleman and always just 5 minutes away whenever we needed him. His hospitality and service went above and beyond, and we really appreciated his help throughout our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Westport—whether you’re traveling with friends or family, it’s the ideal place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area!

We had such a great time in Alison’s hut. The place was beautiful with beautiful countryside. Our dog loved it as much as us! The baked treats were also such a lovely touch 🩷 we will definitely come back and recommend to friends

Thanks so much to Padraig and his lovely family for the stay in lovely Gnome Cabin - it's really great - very comfortable and practical and perfect for my stay. Padraig and his family have been super helpful and kind and welcoming. And the views from the cabin are gorgeous with rolling hills, trees and fields of sheep. This is hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. It truly feels like a world apart, surrounded by serene, breathtaking beauty. Waking up to stunning landscapes, with donkeys and cows nearby, and enjoying the spectacular views while cooking dinner made our stay unforgettable. Amanda was incredibly thoughtful, proactively sending detailed instructions ahead of time. The local tips and recommendations left in the house were spot on and made exploring the area a breeze. Foxford, just 15 minutes away, is a charming village with peaceful wood trails, scenic river walks, cozy shops, and the delightful Moy Hotel. We instantly felt at home and didn’t want to leave.
