An excellent house for a group gathering - spacious with ideal amenities, great bedrooms, and centrally located for easy access to shops and pubs! Absolutely idea for our New Years getaway as a group of 14.

Arthur is so friendly and helpful. He organised a taxi for us as we were attending a wedding. Although we didn't use the food it was a lovely touch. The place is very cosy.

Marie's house is so lovely and the location is absolutely gorgeous. Marie was so responsive before our arrival and popped over to greet us once we had settled in. The house was spotless we couldn't fault it, the stove was a lovely addition in the kitchen and there was plenty of fuel left for us. We stayed over New Years and the house was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. The two pet goats outside were the highlight for our children who loved feeding and petting them.

What can we say. Such a great stay in a beautiful home. We had the best time with our family in a pre Christmas get to together. Margaret went above and beyond to welcome us into her home. Nothing was too much trouble. The beds were so comfortable. My only problem was we didn’t book for long enough. Can HIGHLY recommend. We’ll definitely be back. PS The trampoline is such good fun.

Sandra was amazing host and very friendly and helpful. Her home was gorgeous. Sandra is a lovely histing leaving us apple pies, butter, milk eggs etc for our arrival. We couldn't ask for more.

We loved our stay in Josephine’s charming house and hope to return. We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs and this one checked all the boxes for comfort, charm, amenities, and location, and communication with Josephine was timely and pleasant from start to finish. Birr Castle (only steps away from the house) is an extraordinary place to experience- we spent hours walking through the grounds. Kelly’s is a sweet pub directly across the street where we went a couple evenings for a pint and we had a delicious dinner at the Indian restaurant, Sanjay’s. (However, I don’t recommend the Chinese restaurant next door to Sanjay’s). We parked our car just around the corner from the house in a lot that cost 5 euros for a week. Wonderful stay all ‘round. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay there. Muirt was extremely helpful and replied to any query we had quickly. Would highly recommend. As the apartment overlooked the park and has a balcony it would be lovely in the spring/summer months.

The kindest and most welcoming hosts! They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The place was spotless, with fresh, beautifully scented bedding and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The kitchen was fully equipped, and they even provided basic food essentials like bread, butter, milk, cereal, salt and pepper, and cooking oil—plus thoughtful extras like orange juice, jams, and cookies! The bathroom was also well-stocked with shower gel, shampoo, and spare towels. Their attention to detail and hospitality made my stay truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Mary’s place was extremely clean, plenty of space, and very quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. We had an excellent night sleep. It was a pleasure to meet Mary and Eamonn in person. We have already booked again for a stay in a couple of weeks!

Tom and Maura were excellent hosts, the place was so tidy and easy to find. Me and my family stayed the night after attending a wedding. We checked in earlier in the day. Maura and Tom were super flexible in when we could check in. When we got back from the wedding later that evening the apartment was cosy and warm. The apartment was super clean, there was lots of space for me and my family, they left us a hamper of treats and even had some Christmas decorations up.

Declan's house is very clean and cozy. My work colleagues travel to Dublin and Declan has been very helpful about this ! Will definitely recommend and go back again.

I strongly recommend a stay here with Irene and Dave. From the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is outstanding, with everything you would need to make a meal. We got a takeaway from Sanjay s Indian restaurant in Birr, which was delicious. We were keen to get back to the apartment and light the stove. Dave gave us a tour of some of the fabulous grounds which he has been rewilding for years. He also directed us to some wonderful walking trails as well as filling us in on the history of the house. The gorgeous dogs need a special mention! A return visit is being planned already . Thank you Irene and Dave.

The hosts are very welcoming and on hand when needed. The accommodation is in a great location with plenty of outside space as well as plenty of room inside for the six of us. Everywhere was clean and well presented and provided everything we wanted. The only slightly negative issue was, because of the country location, the internet connection wasn’t always reliable but I would still happily book another holiday at Coolanowle.

Lovely apartment to rest and relax. It is located on the edge of town but only a few mins drive away. The apartment is surrounded by green fields, woodland and nature. The terrace is a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The apartment is well equipped and homely. Tom and his wife are friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect place for what I needed!

La Casa di Ann è un posto fantastico ove soggiornare e dove rilassarsi. Si respira un'aria familiare e confortevole. Ogni cosa è al posto giusto e tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato persino bellissimi fiori profumati raccolti dal suo giardino. Ann ci ha fatto trovare anche una dispensa con tutti i prodotti di cui puoi aver bisogno all'arrivo in un alloggio. La proprietaria è estremamente gentile e simpatica, e si è resa disponibile per ogni esigenza. Consiglio molto questo alloggio caldo e raffinato.

We had a pleasant stay. We came for business and pleasure. From Loretto's place we were able to visit Salthill, Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. My dog also had a great stay, with plenty of walks.
