Two families with four young kids. We had a great stay. Very convenient location. Great downhill access to Hawk Chair/Easy Acres. Reasonable ski out access (one road to cross in the village to avoid a steep uphill). You are asked to bring your own linens - for those travelling with young kids, all the mattresses have waterproof covers on already, so I didn't need to use the ones I brought.

Nora and Ian were great hosts.. Nora made sure we had all the info we needed including helping to pick oysters and clams..the location was assume...we'll definitely come again..

Megan is very easy to communicate with. She replies message quickly. We had a good stay at her place!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy Airbnb with our two kids. The place was adequate for our needs and provided a comfortable home base for our skiing trip to the mountain. It was well-equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We had no issues with check-in or check-out – everything went smoothly. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a family-friendly spot close to the slopes!

We had a fantastic stay at Angela’s place! We booked for two nights with our two kids, primarily for the convenience of skiing at Mount Washington and it was the perfect spot for our needs. The space, while petite, was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The hot standup shower was a treat after a long day on the slopes, and the helpful notes around the unit made it easy to navigate everything. We also really enjoyed the Nespresso machine - such a nice touch for starting our mornings! Though we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the river or outdoor surroundings this time, we’d love to come back and explore more. The access to laundry was a huge plus and Angela’s communication was excellent throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway!

Kelcy and her family were wonderful hosts. She was very responsive to any requests and was very accommodating. She does have young children but the sound proofing kept to noise levels low and manageable. Would highly recommend staying at Kelcy’s place in the future if one is visiting CR.

Iain’s Bird’s Nest Cabin is the perfect spot for a Cortes vacation! Centrally located, it’s a quick drive or walk to Hollyhock, Smelt Bay, Manson’s Lagoon, and the Co-op, making it easy to explore the island. Tucked away in the forest, the cabin is well-stocked with plenty of towels, bedding, A/C, wifi, and a well-appointed kitchen (note: no oven, but a great gas range). Iain and his family live on the property and are quick to help when needed, but you wouldn’t know they’re there—perfect hosts! This was our second stay at one of Iain’s properties, and we can’t wait to come back again. Thanks for another lovely vacation, Iain!

To begin with, Ebony was an amazing host right from the beginning! I had mom immediate family and children stay at her place during my wedding and she was very accommodating. My family really enjoyed the place and I definitely recommend her place to anyone who needs a place to stay :) Thank you so much!

The place is spacious and beautiful home. The location is peaceful and nice neighborhood. Tina is very responsive with inquiries and the instructions are clear. Overall we had a very good stay.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The home is gorgeous. The kitchen is very well equipped and has high-end appliances; the beds are extremely comfortable with lovely linens; the bathrooms are lovely; and the hot tub and deck are fabulous. Christine is a very responsive host. Everything you need (and more) is provided for you. We would love to return.

An amazing stay at this cute and quiet guest house. I don’t know if I have ever visited a cleaner AirBnB! Perfect! Location was great on the edge of town and walkable everywhere. Susanne was a great host and I would highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Powell River.

Great place for my family. We enjoyed the park being a shirt walk away. The kids loved the tree house and the rope swing. We loved the hot tub. It was an easy place to keep all the family happy.

Our young family stayed at Teresa’s home for a number of months while working in Campbell River. The park across the street was much enjoyed by our young child and we loved the close proximity to a bit of natural space. The house’s covered porch also provided an accessible outdoor space on rainy days. Teresa and her home are both lovely; we enjoyed her pleasant nature and very comfortable home. We would recommend staying here without hesitation!!

Katrin’s place is all that is described in the listing and more. Very cozy and comfortable apartment with an entire nook dedicated to hanging and drying out snow gear. Katrin went above and beyond with her communication. There is a bit of walking and figuring out where the apartment is located in the ski village but Katrin’s attention to detail made everything very easy. Further, I took away a number of ideas for how I would like to organize spaces in my home after staying. Great decorations and functionality. Mount Washington is also a true jem- everyone was friendly and helpful! I Highly recommend Katrin’s apartment and look forward to visiting again.

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

We stayed at Jeremiah's place for 4 nights for my daughter's freestyle ski competition. The highlights that stood out for my kids were the comfortable beds and reclining chairs! Good location close to the ski in/out to Hawk Chair. Very quiet building and beautiful views from the condo. We had a lovely time, thank you.

We had the best stay at Barbara’s! It was spacious and well-stocked and very comfortable.

We had such a great stay! Place was exactly as described and had everything you could need - felt like a real kitchen, not an Airbnb kitchen. Kathleen was lovely and responsive, beds were comfortable and had every board game you could think of! We would definitely book again! About 10min walk up the hill to carry your belongings in from the car, if you have mobility issues (or a lot of gear) I would recommend getting Alpine Services to take your gear for you, or use a sled. The ski out down to Hawk chair is great and easy, and you can’t really ski back in due to the hills but it’s only about a 5-10min walk with your skis. Thank you! We had a blast!

Shannon’s space up at the mountain is serenity. It is a perfect location from mountain watching to stepping out the door onto the slopes. Information is easy to follow, space is comfortable/beautiful/cozy/super clean, Shannon provides a number of suggestions on fun things to do in the vicinity. Shannon communicates efficiently and effectively - is tremendously kind and thoughtful. We will consistently look for this booking when we visit the mountain. If available, I would 100% recommend booking.

Aside from my complete inability to find anything in the dark when we arrived, Debra was still kind enough to answer my call after 11 PM, huge thanks for that, Debra! The ski-in/ski-out access was perfect, the weather was amazing for spring skiing, and the whole family felt relaxed and recharged all weekend. Having a second bathroom was a game-changer in the mornings! Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back, maybe even next year!
