Our multi-age group (12 guests in total…15 yrs - over 50) had an excellent stay at Matt’s property. The pictures posted are very accurate, but they don’t do this property justice. Multiple seating areas inside the house and out meant everyone could sit in a smaller group and “catch-up” with each other. The location is super close to Duncan yet it is not in a suburban neighbourhood. The short distance out of town makes this property feel like you’re actually “getting away from the daily grind of life.” Matt was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed the farm fresh eggs he left for us one morning. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes, glasses, utensils and cookware that one might need. The BBQ space is well equipped with BBQ tools and there is lots of seating so we could all dine together. When we were leaving we all wished we had just a couple more days to enjoy our time together at this beautiful property. Would definitely book again. Matt is an EXCELLENT host!

Gramma Rikki has a beautiful home nestled privately in the trees. She has simply thought of everything to make the house accommodating from providing games to having the kitchen stocked with spices and other cooking amenities. The home was even more vast in person than in photos and was cozy and inviting. We hope to come back again when the weather is warmer to enjoy all the property has to offer. Perfect vacation home for bigger families!

great cabin on the outskirts of Victoria with lots to do!

Salish Peaks Escape is a stunning retreat tucked away in a peaceful, picturesque neighborhood. The home is spacious, impeccably maintained, and equipped with top-notch amenities. The kitchen and appliances were in excellent condition, making meal prep a breeze. One of the most memorable experiences was enjoying the sunrise and sunset from the patio—made even more magical by visits from a friendly family of deer. If you're looking for a serene, rejuvenating getaway surrounded by nature, I highly recommend this beautiful escape.

Budd's place was even better than I expected and I can't wait to return. My friends were also blown away by how stunning it was. It had everything you could possibly need and was such a great escape from the city. Highly recommend!

Our stay here was truly amazing. We were in town for a family wedding which was fun but our stay at this beautiful oasis made it an even more memorable time. We loved all the various spaces available which provided ample space for all of our family (6 of us) to hang out together or just find a cozy space to read and relax. The home is very well appointed and stocked (kitchen supplies & equipment, toiletries, linens, towels) - everything you could think of needing was there. We were nervous about using the pizza oven but Louis and Tasha walked us through how to use it and our home made pizzas were a huge hit! The back yard was indeed a relaxing retreat with the waterfall and natural swim pond, including beautiful vegetation and flowers. The privacy of the space made you forget you were in the city! Our hosts definitely anticipated our every need. Pride of ownership was certainly evident. We highly recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing stay in Victoria!

Ya que aparte de ser muy amplia , es muy bonita; Krista siempre se mostró muy atenta y hospitalaria con nosotros, también fue muy accesible con los horarios y la comunicación bastante efectiva (tanto al responder los mensajes como de manera presencial); siempre tuvo mucha iniciativa para apoyarnos en cualquier inconveniente que tuviéramos incluso fuera de lo que ofrecía el alojamiento... Los paisajes y las vistas eran maravillosas desde cualquier ventana de la casa. Recomiendo ampliamente la estancia en ese lugar, ya que te encontrarás con excelentes anfitriones y una granja/casa hermosa ❤️

Hosts were very responsive and accommodative. House was very clean and has ample space to host guests. There are multiple spaces to dine. Location is very ideal and located very nearer to dining places and ferry. We couldn’t utilize much backyard and pool due to winters but backyard overall looked fun. Would recommend the place!

This was the perfect place for our first family vacation to Canada. The house had everything we needed and was very comfy! Local cuisine is amazing so I recommend walking down the drive and trying the local restaurants! Carlos was extremely helpful and responsive! I highly recommend booking this place if you intend to vacation/spend some family time in Vancouver.

Excellent location! Walk to Granville Island, Kits Beach, downtown, only 3 miles to entrance of Stanley Park. Wonderful restaurants, cafe’s, food markets all very close by. The hosts were very responsive. Very quiet, restful and peaceful location. The kitchen has pretty much everything you will need to cook fabulous meals. We brought our road bikes with us and used this location as a launch pad to excellent rides all over the city (UBC, Lynn Canyon, Lionsgate Bridge and beyond). Street parking was no problem for us - however I can imagine it might be a bit tricky during the summer months. This Airbnb is a throwback to the original Airbnb proposition - no property managers, you are staying in a family’s home and you will likely meet the owners of the home. They live in the basement ADU while they rent the main 2 floors of the house. They are super friendly and eager to help with recommendations. Enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

We booked our stay very early since it was for our son’s Wedding. It had plenty of space for all the extended family to stay and gather before our activities for the day. The location was terrific for walking which our family loves to do. Loved that it was close to grocery stores and restaurants. We all enjoyed our stay! Thanks!

We had a fantastic stay - right on the ocean with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The jacuzzi overlooking the water was enjoyed by all. The kitchen is spectacular with everything you could need and the living area is very nice. The full wall of glass windows and sliders with the wrap-around deck was great. The heated floors were an unexpected, but welcome surprise!

Huge home with all the needed amenities for our stay! Was very pleased to find a little closet of kids puzzles and books as well. My kids loved the gems and rocks that were collected around the home. Wish there was a little space where we could have found it what some of them were and where they were collected!!

The home is great and the location is quite peaceful and serene. Can't say enough about Nigel as a great host. Icing on the top was Nigel dropping by to help us start the wood camp fire in the backyard since we were newb and needed help :).

I have stayed in over 50 AirBNBs around the world, and this was among the best, if not THE best I’ve ever been a guest in. The setting is idyllic, looking over the waters and mountains, with daily bald eagle settings. The home itself is gorgeous, very well decorated in a way that compliments the natural beauty that surrounds it. And the bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in, ever. The hosts were also delightful and helpful. I 1000% want to return someday.

We did not stay at Iqbal's place but booked it for two of our artistic staff to stay at while we were working in Victoria. We loved it when we visited to drop them off. They had a great experience, very clean and well equipped. We would highly recommend the place to anyone and really appreciated Iqbal's communication to make sure everything went well during our stay.

Rebecca’s home is lovely and very comfortable. We immediately felt at home. The view is beautiful and the location is perfect for access to Ganges, hiking Mt Erskine, or going up or down island. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. Rebecca’s communication is top notch and all instructions are very clear. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our family of four introverts, giving us all plenty of space to be alone and together. We found everything we needed and more in the kitchen and appreciated the fresh herbs available in the garden. Loved the neighborhood too -- plenty to see and enjoy a walk away. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the beautiful city of Victoria.

Seymour was responsive and check-in was a breeze. We felt right at home in the tidy house with spacious rooms. The labels around the house were helpful and unobtrusive. Great location for tourists, and nature lovers. Shopping, dining and a lovely coffeeshop near by. Comfortable beds and linens. This was definitely the best Air B&B I’ve stayed in and hope to stay here again each time I return to the island.

Beautiful cottage comfy memory foam bed which enveloped you like a marshmallow!! I loved it. Great kitchen facilities. Did lots of cooking and went to the wild mountain restaurant for dinner which was lovely. I did lots of exploring , hiking, running, cycling. I climbed and trekked several mountains and trails. Palli Palli cycle hire were great for the galloping goose trail. Lots of lovely snacks and coffee at the house too. Wonderful holiday and we loved this cottage. I would definitely come back. Loved the deer and rabbits in the garden too!

this place is a sanctuary! i felt comfortable and had a very calm stay. jackie was such a good host! and her place shows her wonderful taste.

We stayed with Shelley to be near Victoria General hospital & the home was perfect for our family. We felt very comfortable and welcomed and would stay again if ever we need to.

We were in Vancouver for a concert and wanted to stay out of the city to get some peace and quiet while not touring around. The place is lovely and very relaxing. Had one of the best sleeps I've had in ages in the extremely comfortable bed. Love the big shower!
