A beautiful little gem on Salt Spring Island. So rustic, comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. The private & decompression cedar hot tub in the rustic backyard, full of birds and surrounded by beautiful nature was the bonus! A stand out for us was the attention to details, with a few lovely, locally sourced food staples for our stay. The BEST muffins! Rustic fresh baked bead Homemade fig jam Butter Fresh farm eggs 🥚 Fresh Cowichan milk So fresh, flavourful and appreciated. Anyone looking for a romantic hideaway, a place to unplug & unwind or to start writing their book…. No need to look further Memories for years… 🙌

Clean and tidy..

We had an incredible cozy, rainy weekend!! - The cabin was immaculately clean and well-stocked. We cooked every meal in the cabin and found it to have everything we needed - sharp knives, all the pans, enviable dishes, and the cutest coffee mugs. Even a coffee grinder and coffee beans (which we didn't use as we brought our own) - truly everything! - Most comfortable bed I've ever slept on away from home. - Fully stocked with firewood for cozy fires in the fireplace. - We were the first to use the new hot tub! It took a long while to get it going at first, as it's wood fired (3 hours to heat the first time from cold water, but every time after was about 1 hour). It was kind of the perfect slow project for the day. The instructions + video was very helpful. Thanks Leah and team! We had the best time and will be back.

A perfectly positioned cabin on the lake with all the amenities one might desire. The hot tub was perfect for our cold wet weekend. The host were always quick to help and make our stay the best.

My boyfriend and I had the most magnificent time here and plan to come back if/when we return to the island. The location is quiet and removed far enough from the main house so as to feel private and remote. The little wood burning fireplace is great/adorable, the water is hot (when you want it to be), the hot tub is clean, and everything is roughly no more than a 25 minute drive away. Great host, phenomenal space, and plenty of stars to be seen through the bedroom wi die on a clear night.

we stayed 12 days, I always find with air b&b it's about the individual experience. we were very happy with accommodation, Tertia was very responsive and super helpful, lots of spices and condiments. a good supply of firewood, all in all no complaints

Marshmeadow farms was an idyllic stay in a country setting. We woke every morning to see Hanna the horse walking in her field. Our dog Rolf enjoyed visiting with Dusty, the farm dog and also saying “Hi” to Hanna. The suite was cozy and welcoming with holiday decor for the season, which was a warming invite as we were traveling to Cedar to spend Christmas with family. Wanda is such a friendly and welcoming host! She greeted us on arrival And made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The suite has so many nice touches, such as luxurious bath robes and a kitchen stocked with every utensil you’ll need, and coffee and tea as well! We will definitely stay again!

Curt's place made an excellent long weekend getaway from the city. Close enough to walk into Sturdies Bay, and had some great hiking trails nearby too. It was clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen, and our dog loved lounging infront of the fireplace. Looking forward to staying again!

We absolutely loved staying at the farm! Lisa is very welcoming and the animals are irresistible. The yurt was charming and peaceful and the amenities were perfect for our stay. We loved visiting with the donkeys (Stanley & Ollie), goats, and cows (Evangeline & Lulu) while strolling through the farm, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It was as perfect a getaway as we could have hope for. Thank you!

Exactly as described, peaceful, private, beautiful property, very cute cabin. Fun island to explore. Vilupti was very welcoming and kind, I would stay here again, everything I needed and more, felt at home, loved the wood stove, comfy bed and great kitchen!

The view from the cabin was as featured in the photos and was beautiful, especially breathtaking on a sunny day. The time of the year we were there, we had the dock and waterfront all to ourselves. Very private. The place was clean and beds were comfortable. No issue at all with water pressure. The wood stove added the extra coziness feel to the cabin. Julia was extremely responsive and accommodative (above and beyond) of the check-in/out times. Overall, thank you for hosting us. We had an awesome weekend and we will highly recommend this cabin!

We were visiting for my partners birthday and Alanda was very kind to set up balloons and a few of his favourite drinks! We loved the cabin and all the thoughtful design aspects in every corner. We would definitely come back.

This adorable cottage on Shawnigan Lake is one of our favourite stays ever. Impeccably appointed with spotless comfort. A real gem in the middle of a beautiful lake community. A must stay for anyone. We will be back for sure! Thanks Amanda.

We really enjoyed the cabin. Our stay was incredibly peaceful in the midst of lush greenery, no other noise than chirping birds. The cabin had everything we needed during our stay and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you Alex and Laura!

One of the few places I have stayed that was better than the photos! Tara was very friendly and the cabin was clean, fresh and well appointed. It was fun to see the animals wandering the farm in the distance. Look forward to returning!

Absolutely incredible place! Unique layout, tons of stuff to explore inside and outside, AMAZING porches, and gorgeous views. Spent each morning sipping coffee and watching seals swim around and occasionally flop up onto the docks right off the back deck. Butchart Gardens is right down the road and well worth a visit! Can’t say enough good things about this place. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Don’t hesitate.. just book it!!!

Wonderful and relaxing stay at the cabin. It was equipped with everything we needed, and Carol was very flexible with check-in and check out, aware of our ferry timing. Will definitely be back!

Very spacious and unique unit on a mobile home resort. The dwelling gives a cabin vibe. There was plenty of room for 4 adults. The kitchen had all the tools for cooking if desired, and the living area had great entertainment options. There's no wifi in the home itself.

The place is very private, comfortable and clean. The beds and linens were good and the kitchen well equipped. I loved sitting on the front steps in the morning sun with my coffee and around the fire at night. I loved that it was tucked away and private, but not in dark trees, like a lot of places on the islands. It was a great place to stay and a dreamy holiday on Galiano.

Great place to stay - we enjoyed the pool table, hot tub with starry view, and perfect for our short stay on Galiano! Would stay again.

A wonderful getaway for us. The eclectic nature of the cabin leaves visual treasures to be discovered everywhere. Appreciated the local literature in the library! Reminded me of what a 'cabin at the lake' should look and feel like.
