Gabriel’s 2-level place was VERY spacious, clean, modern and peaceful, and we enjoyed a private family time thanks to Gabriel!! We enjoyed the ocean view and hot tub even during rainy days! Gabriel was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Thank you *soooo* very much for letting us stay at your absolute beautiful place, Gabriel!!!

Nice location on lake. Large deck on the back of house with lake views. Large dock with easy water access. Quiet location at end of the road so no road noise. Sean is friendly and will greet you at arrival, gives interesting history about the house and is responsive.

This Airbnb is incredibly cozy and has everything you need for a perfect stay. Suzanne was very responsive and made sure everything was taken care of. The space feels like home, and it's located in a peaceful area. I would definitely stay here again! The only minor thing is that you can hear footsteps above, but it didn't bother me at all. I would give this place a solid 10/10!

Our stay at Gavin’s place was perfect. We had plenty of room for our group. The house was comfortable, well appointed, comfortable beds and had everything we needed and more. Gavin was super responsive to all my questions, he is a great host. Thank you Gavin! Highly recommend this home when staying in Shawnigan Lake. Lots to do, and we had fun adventuring around. Would love to come back in the summer.

We came to visit our son who was having surgery. We got caught in the highly unusual February heavy snow, but April responded quickly to get us help. Great place w big beautiful view of lake, Terrific kitchen. Two levels to house. We didn’t check out the hot tub, sauna, pool and lake access due to weather, but they looked great,

Tania’s place was everything like the photos and more. Unbeatable tranquil views all around. We did not want to leave the house to go into town at all. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking meals. Hot tub is situated in a nook by the games room so rain or shine, you can enjoy it. Tania was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

This was one of our best airbnb experiences ever. Not just for the house and the location, also for Lindsay. We stayed for a long period and she helped us a lot with all the issues we had during our trip in Canada. The house have literally whatever you might need. Feels like the Mary Poppins bag!! 😃 And looks even better than in the pics. Thanks a million for everything Lindsay! ♥️🇪🇸

An amazing, well equipped cabin overlooking a pristine lake. The cabin is central to the island making it ideal to stay at while exploring Salt Spring! We were able to cook a full meal thanks to the thoughtful stocked kitchen and amenities! Ashley was a delight to communicate and even before we left we agreed we'd return someday.

We loved our stay! Our hosts were responsive and accommodating of our large group. Everything was great and we’d loved to stay again!

The cottage and surrounding area was extremely peaceful and absolutely beautiful. I recommend coming out here if you want true relaxation

My sister and I had a lovely time staying at Bill and Ashley’s cottages. The cabin was the perfect little size, and equipped with everything we needed to cook lovely meals and enjoy a fun relaxing weekend. Big thanks to Bill for lending us a guitar capo when we realized we had forgotten ours! Say hi to Zoey and Louie for us, can’t wait to visit again :)

Julie was a great host, would definitely stay again! We actually did a same day booking because our original Airbnb had to cancel and we were so grateful Julie was able to make it work on such short notice. The place is super cozy and has beautiful views right on the lake. Would love to come back in the summer for another girls trip! Highly recommend.

This is our third year returning to Maple Ridge Cottages and we will absolutely be back again. Salt Spring Island is beautiful and very peaceful. We felt right at home in the cabin we booked. It was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Convenient location and seamless check-in made it a perfect choice for a comfortable getaway. Travelling with a small child isn’t always easy, but Ashley and Bill always make it all so easy from the checkin to the checkout. We even noticed the child sized picnic table had been put on the deck of the cabin we booked. Such thoughtful thinking! Last and certainly not least, we asked to extend our stay - and Ashley and Bill accommodated this extend and were very fair. Bill came by a few times and was lovely to speak with in person. While we were unloading he came and introduced himself to us and told us ways we could get in touch throughout our stay if we needed to. We felt very taken care of. Thank you Ashley and Bill!

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had a gorgeous view of the lake. The bedroom had a great private view of the forest, which was really lovely to wake up to. We especially loved the BBQ and wood-burning stove, which made the evenings super cozy! The cabin had all the essentials and more; we enjoyed flipping through the gorgeous table books provided too. We look forward to returning in warmer (less rainy/snowy) weather when we could use the outdoor fire pit and sit on the dock. The property and lake are extremely peaceful. Of note - there are no window coverings in the main living area which can be seen from other cabins, so we wouldn’t have wanted to have someone sleep on the couch. It worked perfectly for just the two of us though.

We had an incredible cozy, rainy weekend!! - The cabin was immaculately clean and well-stocked. We cooked every meal in the cabin and found it to have everything we needed - sharp knives, all the pans, enviable dishes, and the cutest coffee mugs. Even a coffee grinder and coffee beans (which we didn't use as we brought our own) - truly everything! - Most comfortable bed I've ever slept on away from home. - Fully stocked with firewood for cozy fires in the fireplace. - We were the first to use the new hot tub! It took a long while to get it going at first, as it's wood fired (3 hours to heat the first time from cold water, but every time after was about 1 hour). It was kind of the perfect slow project for the day. The instructions + video was very helpful. Thanks Leah and team! We had the best time and will be back.

This adorable cottage on Shawnigan Lake is one of our favourite stays ever. Impeccably appointed with spotless comfort. A real gem in the middle of a beautiful lake community. A must stay for anyone. We will be back for sure! Thanks Amanda.
