We couldn’t be more happy with our stay! When we say this house was pristine we mean it, the entire home is beautiful, great quality amenities to use, little things like big bath sheets for towels, having washing machine pods and dishwasher pods available, all cooking utensils were top notch, the fridge with little bits and pieces were exactly what we needed when we first arrived. The kids loved the pool, the property itself is in a great location to duck up to port Douglas or into cairns with some fantastic restaurants at trinity beach! Andrea and Mark were so helpful with an early checkin for us so we could be settled before our event, super responsive and awesome hosts! It’s a 10 stars from us! We had an amazing stay here. The property is really well equipped and the views out to the golf course and beyond are stunning. Bridget & Charles were great to deal with. Our favorite cafe in PD is a very short walk away. We’ll be back!

This is a lovely air bnb! Home is in a great location only minutes walk to four mile beach and there is a supermarket just a couple of minutes drive away. Easy checkin process. Wendy and Paul were in communication throughout the booking and provided very helpful tips throughout our stay on restaurants and things to do. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

We loved staying at Wayne’s place! The kids absolutely loved the pool, especially lit up at night. We also loved that the pool was shaded early in the morning and from mid afternoon. It does get a bit slippery on the tiles around the pool though. The house is very cool, calm and comfortable for a family of five, with an excellent kitchen, and two sizable bathrooms. Despite being on the main road in to Palm Cove it is exceptionally quiet. It’s only a short walk down to the Palm Cove beach and restaurants, and five minutes’ drive to the supermarket at Clifton Beach. It’s a great base for day trips to Kuranda or Hartley’s, and being only half an hour from Cairns it’s easy to pop in to town for dinner and an evening splash in the lagoon. We didn’t find much to do for our family in Palm Cove itself, but that wasn’t a problem as we had a hire car and were happy to explore up and down the coast and into the hills. Wayne is a fantastic host, thanks for having us!

Very nice property, just as described. Each room had its own AC unit so room temperatures could be individually controlled. Spacious with plenty of room for our family of 6 to spread out. No complaints at all, would stay here again.

Beyond All Expectations!!! Visiting Cairns is one thing, but visiting Cairns and staying in a luxury Balinese villa adds a whole other level of richness to the experience, an exponential bump in style as repose now becomes resplendent . The beauty of the build, the experience of indoor outdoor living, the gorgeous pool and outdoor shower, everything lent itself to an experience that was far greater than we had anticipated. If you get a serendipitous chance to meet the owner Jeremy as we did, you will be delighted by the friendly conversation and the welcoming spirit, as well as the heritage behind the house. This stay was magical for us, may it be for you as well!

Great place to stay, convenient location short drive to Cairns City and close to the Highway for travelling to other destinations. House was very clean and spacious, pool was also great, would recommend!

From the moment we booked we were looked after by everyone at platinum property. Communication was super efficient, helpful and friendly. All our needs were anticipated and communicated efficiently, even offering to organise day trips for our group. We were so glad we had such a seemless check in on the day with Fon meeting us at the outstanding property. Do not hesitate to use Platinum Property they are absolutely fantastic, they genuinely want you to have a great stay and nothing is too much trouble. I will definitely seek rentals through them before anywhere else in the future.

The Cove House is a lovely, very well appointed house. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We especially liked the fact that we were so close to Palm Cove, it’s great restaurants and beach. The grandchildren loved the pool, which was always refreshing and stayed amazingly clean. We would love to book this house again!

This was just the location for a group to relax and enjoy the town of Port Douglas. We loved being able to walk just a short block into the main street and yet be in a quiet spot. The pool and yard gave us a beautiful place to relax enjoying the winter warmth.

Awesome host, made sure we had everything needed in preparation for the cyclone and subsequent flooding. Communication prior and during our stay was very good. The home was an awesome choice for our large family with plenty of space for everyone. Once all the rain had past the children had a ball playing tennis and creating games outside in the well kept grounds (the care taker was out immediately cleaning up the property etc). Highly recommend this property

This is an exceptional property, with delightful hosts, in a breathtaking setting on the edge of the Daintree rainforest. The infinity pool and deck is perfect for cooling off, whilst the house itself is akin to a resort. Tinkling water-features provide a soothing soundtrack to breakfast on the terrace or drinks on the balcony. Each of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, and all have beautiful furniture and lush textiles. There are plenty of spaces for eating or entertainment or just relaxing quietly with a book. The main kitchen (of two) has every appliance you might need and more than enough cutlery, crockery and glassware to feel right at home. Once you have food & drink, you hardly need to leave for the duration, but it’s also very easy to get to Cairns if you wish, for restaurants or activities. While only 20 mins from the Esplanade in Cairns, Barong is actually a world away. The tranquility and luxury make it an outstanding destination, I cannot wait to book a return trip.

Just brilliant. Would recommend, will book again! The house was incredible - just as the listing suggested - and it had everything we could think to need. LOVED the wood fired oven. The outdoor area is just fabulous - could live out there! Didn't see any insects or other creepy friends either, which is a big win in QLD. Really well placed for a quiet getaway. Top points to the host too - super responsive, proactive, and so generous and accommodating! We just loved it!

Beautiful clean villa, close to town and easy to find. Kid friendly and the pool was fantastic! Perfect temperature all day. Check in and out was very easy with the key lock box and it had everything we needed in the kitchen, utensils, plastic cups and plates for the kids and so much more. Martin was very helpful in providing lots of local info in their app and was easy to contact leading up to our stay. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the botanical ark retreat. The grounds were so beautiful and peaceful. The natural swimming pond was such a surprising relaxing place to float and listen to the sounds of nature. We wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you to our gracious hosts Susan and Alan
