Chris’s house is great for what we needed it for. This was the 3rd year in a row we stayed with Chris and like always it was great. Nice cozy little spot close to the 2 restaurant/ bars. Chris is a great host very responsive and easy to work with. Most likely will stay again in the future

Chalets by the Lake are absolutely adorable and we're perfect for our stay. The property was peaceful. We ended the pond and the fire pits. The chalet had all we needed for our stay. Appreciated the binder with local recommendations and things to do. We plan to come back.

My husband and I planned a last minute ice fishing trip with a buddy of ours, and Matt went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was very responsive and communication was easy. He made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay, and both check in and check out were a breeze. The place itself is the definition of “lake house”. The location is perfect and the house itself is charming and cozy. We had everything we needed and more. The beds were more comfortable than my own, and the water tank was more than sufficient as we never ran out of hot water. The place was super clean and the Wifi was strong. We really loved the sunroom, and are looking forward to a future stay during warmer months so we can utilize it and the cute little patio space/ yard.

Very private quiet and great for two people ..fireplace hot tub and were perfect... immaculate interior space...we will surely return ..

It was a great house. Plenty of room and everything you need. Great location and close to the lake. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of things to keep your kids occupied, if you have them here. We were very pleased with our stay.

Staying in Gene's home felt like staying with family. He truly is the most generous and thoughtful host we've ever encountered: the fridge is stocked with loads of beverages (wine, beer, canned cocktails, bottled water); breakfast foods: eggs, English muffins, cheese, Canadian bacon. He's also stocked the pantry with plenty of snacks, cooking essentials, e.g., seasonings, oils, plus all the cooking utensils and items you'll need. The house is well-laid out, comfortable and private. Beautiful views of nature and the creek. We loved streaming at night on the cozy sectional sofa -- I fell asleep on it 2 night in a row. Other thoughtful touches: candles on a timer, loads of books all over the house, double-filtered water from the tap, dog-friendly ice melt, dog poop bags, cozy throw blankets. We look forward to returning. Thanks, Gene, for all your communication (and patience with my many questions) and your spirit of generosity.

This house was amazing! Beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood quiet for peaceful nights sleep. It was a great place to gather and make memories. Loved the large couches on both levels. The kitchen being open to the living room area was so nice to have everyone still all together and chatting while also preparing meals. It was very close to town with nice variety of restaurants to choose from. It was also great having three full bathrooms. The house was very clean and provided all we needed for weekend getaway. The mattress was even more amazing the hot tub! Haha just kidding equally great! Loved the Christmas tree and the day dance of hot chocolate! (I would add some decaf to the stash for the old folks!) The stars were amazing here! I forgot what they looked like in the countryside living in Pittsburgh all these years! We had a nice walk to the lake too despite the rainy weather. Thanks so much!
