Annie’s place was fantastic! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Annie was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Everyone likes new and this place feels brand new when you walk in. Beautifully decorated and appointed, everything you'd expect to make your stay pleasant. Very comfortable beds and crisp new linens. I had a few rainy days so the sauna was a wonderful treat. Very comfortable covered outside deck with propane fire pit if you like. Easy walk to Harris Beach State Park, quick drive to the Port of Brookings for fresh crab. Deer in the front yard. The house was exactly as pictured. It was definitely chilly, but there were heaters in each of the rooms. Marshawn was a great host! He sent us plenty of recommendations in Crescent City. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Awesome home with tons of space. It was perfect for the groom and groomsmen to stay together before the big wedding. It was less than 10 minutes from the ceremony and the ocean. The house was stocked with anything you’d need to live comfortably and the information in the binder she leaves explained anything you’d need to know while you’re visiting.

All the reviews say this is a great place for a family. This is correct. Beautiful surroundings, the hot tub was great, the beds comfortable and they even left us welcome snacks. There was a problem that came up that was beyond the owners’ control. Debbie was very responsive to my reaching out and rectified the situation as quickly as they could. I recommend this home.

We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. I am very pleased with my experience and I plan to return! Brent

We absolutely love the Sea Escape. we have returned many times, and have never been disappointed. This time we rented all 6 rooms to host family members to stay at for a destination wedding in the Redwoods. We had group meals at the picnic tables, with food cooked on the grills and in the rooms. We had all the cooking equipment, plates and silverware necessary for these meals. Susan was gracious, and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be back, as will our family members. This little gem is not fancy, but it is always clean, quiet, and welcoming. you can't beat the view, the beach access, and the proximity to the big trees.

Enjoyed our stay in Brookings. The beaches and coastline are amazing! Quiet neighborhood and close to town, beaches and redwoods. Would definitely stay again.

I have be fishing for Smith river steelhead since 1993 and I have stayed in a variety of places, of which, all have been enjoyable in different ways. Bridget's home offers a great location on the river access the numerous fishing spots throughout the middle fork. A bonus was having a dryer to dry up those rainy days fishing gear. Also Bridget's welcome chocolate cookies are addicting, just too few. Lol. I have never stayed in the area during the summer time, but I can imagine this would be a great location.

I am going to try and do justice to Dan and the amazing memories created throughout our stay. Location is exactly what it seems. Off grid, secluded, quiet, unique. Getting there in snow capped mountains made the journey to the location even more exciting. The Treehouse was a great part but not the best part of the stay. Being greeted by the family of border collies with their pupps and sharing breakfast taking in the site of the mountains in the morning will forever be a memory we think about. This location and stay in my opinion is a great gateway to camping for those new to it all. You have the feel of camping but with alot more amenities! Full bathroom, kitchen with more than enough equipment to get the job done. Dan was incredibly welcoming and ready to assist us in anyway we needed. The story behind the entire eco village as we came to learn during our stay just made the whole experience more inspiring. Dan's story speaks of Resiliency, commitment and innovation.

Such a beautiful place to be even during stormy weather, being able to sit in the nice warm, cozy living room, and watch the turmoil going on in the ocean. Felt extremely safe even walking down to pelican Beach in the rain was so convenient. Use Yelp to go into Brookings for meals. All of them were over the top!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin! Everything was clean and we especially appreciated having a full kitchen to use. The setting in the woods is very peaceful and the cabin is set well back from the main house. Kenneth was a great host and had very nice recommendations of places to explore while we were there.

What a charming and comfortable place to stay. The decor is eclectic and I can tell that Bridget has a design eye, blending styles in a comfortable and simple way. The place was super clean. Quiet. Bridget also proactively reached out to give restaurant recommendations. Plus she bakes us cookies! We would absolutely come back to stay here.

My family and I enjoy this cabin by the sea so much! We have stayed here several times and just love it! It’s very cozy and we feel right at home when we are there.

We both loved the cabin, which looks nicer in person than the pictures posted. The view out the back deck was beautiful. The weather ended up being colder than expected, but the heat pump worked like a charm, and the wood stove will heat up the attached bedroom (just remember to bring some kindling). There's no TV, and the internet service is spotty sometimes (typical for rural areas), but we didn't mind - and if you're thinking about choosing this place to stay, I'm guessing you won't mind either. The kitchen, while small, had enough that we didn't feel there was something we couldn't cook up if we needed to.
