Rest S’More was absolutely the perfect destination for our family christmas vacation! We were looking for a place nearby our extended family who live in Golden Valley, and this was only a 10-min drive from their farm. The house was wonderfully stocked with anything we could need— extra linens, pillows, toothbrush, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, and cooking essentials. Our two dogs enjoyed the back porch and private yard/driveway. And the views were stunning. 5 stars to these hosts!

Whispering Pines is an Oasis especially if you are looking to get away from it all. I expected to go into town, explore... but the truth is we never left the house, it was heavenly. I thought having this house for 3 of us was going to be too big... for my family, having the extra space (2 adult children and myself) was perfect, and we loved having our fur babies with us. The fire-burning stove and the hot tub were our favorite activities. Everything was in perfect working order. Game room was fun! The kitchen is large and very comfortable to cook and bake, which I did. I however, would recommend throwing away all nonstick pots that are so scratched up that frankly, I was not able to use them. For us coffee lovers there were many options, but I will have to add one item to "my favorite things" and that is the milk foamer!!!! Perfect latte every time. Our Christmas vacation exceeded our expectations! *We did leave an item behind which Mollie was kind enough to mail to us! TY

Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

AvantStay was great to work with. Great communication up to and thru the stay. The cabin was immaculate and looked just like the photos. The in-house signage was super helpful and we felt right at home in no time. I'll definitely use AvantStay in the future.

This was the BEST place we could have hoped for to spend a few days away for our honeymoon. Beautiful, private, peaceful and SO much to do! We want to return with our kiddos soon!

This cabin was a beautiful and as described. It provided immaculate views and a cozy atmosphere. Being connected with nature is a feeling everyone should experience and this place would be a perfect location for just that. As expected, the trek to get there was no easy feat, but the climb was easily worth every penny spent.

Such a nice home with responsive host. The place is exactly as listed and was such a nice getaway. My family and I loved it. Would stay here again if the chance arises!

The place was wonderful! Exactly what we were looking for while visiting the area. Close to great restaurants and the airport. The neighborhood felt like I was at home, nice and comfortable. Loved our stay here, and John was very helpful if we needed anything!

Robin and John's place was absolutely amazingly beautiful and peaceful. Robin was a gracious host... thoughtful, kind, considerate, responsive. She added many special touches to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Robin and John are the best hosts we have ever encountered in our many years of staying in airbnbs. They truly understand the meaning of hospitality and they obviously put much care and pride into their cabin home. We cannot wait to return!

Check in was super easy and the host was very responsive. They had the house ready early and allowed us to check in early, which was very helpful while traveling with a small child who needed to nap. We enjoyed walking down to and taking pictures at the river; my children were extremely amused with the crawfish we saw down there as well. Will definitely stay again if we end up back in the area!

Corrine’s place was beautiful, cozy, and just what we needed. It was very private and quiet, which was perfect for a phone free and relaxing weekend. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely visit again! Thank you!

Alicia & John were lovely hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. There were extra towels & washcloths for our family of five. Lots of great info in their guest binder. Covered pier was an amazing place to spend mornings & evenings. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property location was perfect on the Lake and close to Restaurants and shopping. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and highlights of the area.

Love the place, can't wait to see how the other restorations come out and hope they restore a few to rent as one house. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend. Next trip we will rent both sides to have the entire place.

So quiet and relaxing! And the house had everything you would need, the host even let me call her so she could explain the tv/projector! Loved the place!

Samantha was very responsive, took care of any issues right away. The cabin is cozy and cute. We were allowed to use the boat dock so that was wonderful, its a bit of a hike up and down to boat but worth it to go out right on the water from your back yard. The new ac/heat both worked great, the beds where nice and there is plenty of linen. The kitchen while small was well stocked and clean. There is a fire pit, a charcoal grill and an inside fireplace although we didnt use any of those they are there as well as two sup for guest use. Although the cabin is well taken care of and we were even there for regular pest control services the yard is wooded and across the street from the state park also wooded so best not to be too squimish about spiders you will see a few. The state park is just across the way for nice hikes from 1/2 mile to 5 mile hikes all on the water so that was very nice.

The cabin is comfortable and very clean. It had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and linens clean. The location is nice surrounded by trees and a small creek. My only complaint is that we thought the cabin would be more secluded. It is literally in the back yard. We could see into their home. However, we closed the shades and it felt like we were alone. Cute porch overlooking the woods and creek. Screened in with rocking chairs. Great stay overall for a quick weekend getaway with the spouse. Lots of restaurants within 15 minutes.

the bed was incredible! and the retro decor was adorable!
