Cynthia and her team were amazing. From the moment we booked until we left, the communication was prompt and helpful. The place is Heaven on Earth! The views are amazing and very private. There are gorgeous paths on the property with exotic plants and wildlife. The hosts have everything you will need, including aloe for sunburns, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, towels, coolers, etc. This is probably the nicest and most well appointed rental we have stayed in. The location is quiet and only a short drive to restaurants, the market, marina, beaches and hikes. However, being at the far end of the island, everything is scaled down and there are fewer people. We found uninhabited beaches and some of the best hiking ever. If you don't like crowds, this is the place for you. Highly recommend.

Owners were super nice and easy to work with! Caretakers, Joe and Sally couldn't have been more helpful. My family would love to return to this special house!

A lovely week for our family vacation to St John! Fair Winds is very private, cozy, and comfortable. The VIEW IS AMAZING. We stargazed every night and felt the trade winds cool us off after an outdoor shower in paradise. The kids loved staying in the guest house while us parents stayed in the main house bedroom. Thank you, Margaret for meeting us in Coral Bay and leading us up the mountain so we knew exactly where to go!

One of our best family vacations ever! Cynthia's house is beautiful, super comfortable and has stunning views. The beds were very comfortable and we loved falling asleep to the sounds of frogs and crickets outside. The house was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed. The property manager even brought us a delicious banana cake warm out of the oven! We loved the location in the more quiet part of the island - a true getaway! But renters should know that there are not many restaurants so cooking at home is best. Also the driving is challenging and the roads are very steep, so you need to be prepared for some challenging driving - but definitely worth the effort!!! The book of tips from the hosts was also very helpful - great tips on best beaches to visit. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Fair Winds. We especially liked the beautiful view,the hot tub and outdoor shower, and waking up every morning to the sunrise view in front of us. The house was very private,and we appreciated the town of Coral Bay, much quieter and less built up than Cruz Bay. At night the view of the stars from the deck was incredible. The drive to the house is not for the faint of heart, we appreciated Margaret showing us the way the first time up, and we got used to it as the week went on. St John is so beautiful. We had a great week here celebrating our 25th anniversary!

Lynn’s place was perfect for us as 2 couples visiting St. John. Close to everything and with beautiful views, we enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was also really well-equipped which was much appreciated!

Emily’s place was a perfect getaway. You can’t beat the view of Coral Bay from the deck. The cottages were very clean, well kept, and had absolutely everything you could need. She was very helpful in providing directions to the cottage and was very easy to communicate with. We have stayed in several other Airbnbs on the island and this was by far the best! We hope to be back next year. Thank you Emily for a perfect week! 10/10

One of the best Airbnb's that I've ever stayed in and I travel alot. So many of the little things: 1) easy listening music playing while u enter 2) fully equipped kitchen 3) washer/dryer 4) smart TV 5) comfy bed and pillows 6) great shower 7) AC in the bedroom 8) antique decorations that just work 9) hot tub 10) lots of seating areas. The most impressive part is the open concept, location. It's like a tree house! Waves crashing, 180 degree water views, serene, private. You literally leave all the doors open, all day lone. Ocean breeze cools it all. You're essentially cliffside, in nature, so there are lots of mosquitos and bugs, but it's not so bad and you can get bug spray. COMPLETELY worth it for the view. Wifi went out, and they had a new router installed the next day! Ben and Zebedee are great. HIGHLY recommend.

L'alloggio è ben posizionato (meglio però una jeep per raggiungerlo bene perchè il viale di accesso ha una notevole pendenza), molto carino, con una terrazza bellissima, completo di tutto quello che serve per una bella vacanza. Great stay. Recommended and definitely will stay again. Very private, the view is amazing and 2 AC units which help the apartment stay cold during these extremely heat days. A 4x4 is needed to reach the apartment in rainy days. I don’t think the golf cart could reach the unit. Keila is a great host and communication was great. Thank you for everything.

First I have to say both Maria and Chloe were fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond for me and my godmother. The cottage was absolutely adorable and perfect for two people. Very clean and homey. We loved it! The surrounding view of St. Thomas by the private pool was absolutely beautiful. You could even see the view from inside the cottage. What a amazing experience. The cottage is hands down my go too when I visit St. Thomas.

We loved our stay in the Seaside Cottage at White Bay Villas. The cottage was located perfectly, a short walk to many iconic Jost Van Dyke bars and restaurants right on the beach. The cottage was spotless and furnished with absolutely everything we needed. The team at White Bay Villas was incredibly kind and helpful. They made our stay perfect! We would definitely come stay again.

This beach house was absolutely charming—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect, just a quick 7-minute drive from the ferry terminal and close to restaurants. Elizabeth was incredibly responsive, providing all the information I needed right away. Alfred was beyond helpful and kind—he even took me to the car rental place, which was such a thoughtful gesture. His warm hospitality truly made my stay even more special. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and comfortable space. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an incredible stay at this St. John gem! If you're looking for a private, authentic island experience, this is it. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making us feel right at home. The house itself is a charming rustic island home with breathtaking views. We loved having two separate living spaces, perfect for our group of two couples. The provided coolers, chairs, and floaties were a fantastic bonus, and we truly felt like we were living like locals. Plus, it was wonderfully affordable for all the amenities and views. Highly recommend!

Incredible energy, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, and secluded from the rest of the world. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to escape on a small island, look no further. Grab a golf cart from Rachel’s rentals and enjoy the freedom of exploring water island! Ingrid was a delight in helping us with anything we needed. Everyone that was working/staying on the property was like minded and wonderful. Can’t wait to come back:)

St. Thomas was great but meeting Mida was my favorite part of the trip. She did more than she was suppose to do. Her personality was a true blessing during this trip. If you guys have de opportunity to book with her, don’t think it twice. After that trip I won a mom in st. Thomas.

If this place is available - book it! We're so glad we stayed here at the cottage on the hill! It was so quiet and very private, yet only a few minutes walk into the hustle and bustle of town. The view from the deck is beautiful. Especially enjoyed watching the large iguana that hung out a few feet from the deck. We didn't have any problems at all with bugs or mosquitos. The cottage is spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Tastefully decorated. Loved the bathroom and shower area. Nice small kitchen. Cooked a meal on the single electric burner. Washer dryer was a nice surprise. Beach towels a bonus. Yes it's a walk up hill from the town, but it's fine. The Dolphin supermarket made getting supplies very easy as you walk past it. You'll need to buy drinking water. Leela kindly had plenty ready for us on our arrival. A little tricky finding the cottage stairs when we arrived. But Leela provides good directions. The stairs take you up up past lush vegetation, it's like being in a tree house.

Such a beautiful spot on the more secluded area on the island. We stayed in the larger house on the property so this is a review for that one but it was absolutely incredibly and had everything we needed and more. The views are top notch. Sam was there to help us get in and parked once we got off the early morning ferry. Overall it was spectacular — highly recommend.

We are repeat guests and chose to return to Sol~Azul because of our 5 star experience two years ago. Our recent stay was equally as positive and we look forward to many more trips in the future.

Tara's place was a perfect place to stay on St. John. Very private and peaceful with beautiful views of the sea and other islands. Very close to rams head trail and salt pond beach, which was one of our favorite places on the island . Between falling asleep to the sound of the beach below, or laying on the upper patio overlooking the islands in the evening, we hope to stay at Tara's place when we come back to St. John!

Had a great stay! Location is close to town and all the beaches. Cottage is very clean and was perfect for our trip. Make sure you have a 4 wheel drive car to get there. Driveway is steep.

What a beautiful home to stay in! It was perfect for the 2 of us! All the snorkel gear, coolers, towels, and chairs were helpful- so we didn’t have to rent any. Home is about 5 minutes to Cruz bay, and about 25-30 to Coral bay. Easy to get in/out of the house with our rental jeep. You have a shared road- but your own private drive. It was helpful for Mary to show us the drive from town to the house on our first night! Thank you for a wonderful vacation! Much enjoyed your slice of paradise!

Where to begin? Saj and Stuart's place was extremely comfortable, well appointed, located near 2 amazing bays with outstanding vistas of turquoise waters, spectacular sunsets, nearby islands. Saj was so responsive, caring and accomodating and her gardens are gorgeous. This was by far the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed in and a true bargain at the price. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended but we mostly made do walking, hitching and hiring taxis. If its available, snap it up!

My husband and I just went for our 20th anniversary. We LOVED how private the home was yet has such an amazing view. The property is perfect for a couple wanting to relax and take in the island. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach. Loved waking up and having coffee on the porch in the mornings. The property also had an amazing outdoor shower that felt private yet in nature. JP helped us check in and he was very helpful with surrounding restaurant suggestions as well as some insider info for beaches and hikes. It couldn't have been more perfect !
