We had a fantastic stay at Mish's beautiful Airbnb in Alexandria! The home was spotless and incredibly comfortable for our group of five. With three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, along with a spacious basement bedroom and bathroom, we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen and living area were thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated, making meal preparation easy thanks to the well-equipped kitchen. The host was proactive and communicative, ensuring a seamless check-in process and quickly responding to any questions we had. The location was perfect—just a short drive into D.C. and close to historic Alexandria. Additionally, the designated parking spot was a great bonus. After busy days of sightseeing, this home provided a peaceful and cozy retreat. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area—100% worth it!

We had the best stay. Maggie and Scott were very communicative and friendly — even helping us acquire a parking pass which allowed us to park on the streets near the house. The house is charming with skylights and an awesome back patio. Our dog loved sitting in the sun out back and also enjoyed meeting other dogs on walks around the neighborhood and in Stanton Park just to the north. We adored that each bedroom had an en suite bathroom. The location is stellar for anyone who wants to be in the adorable Capitol Hill neighborhood and easily walk to The Mall, Eastern Market, and Navy Yard. We look forward to staying again!

Great place to stay! Very nice home and was easy for us to drive to restaurants and tourist spots. The house was really nice, beautiful kitchen. Beds super comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at this charming farmhouse w our young kids and elderly parents! The property was perfect for a relaxing getaway that we all needed. The chickens were a delight, and collecting fresh eggs was a unique experience. I cant tell you how much my kids love it. The pond added a serene touch, and the outdoor movie setup was a fantastic way to end our days. The host Hannah were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. She is so pleasant to work with and very responsive. She sent us the local recommended restaurant list and we love them all. We did a day trip to Washington DC easily from this location. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat! Such an amazing airbnb stay and we will come back.

This townhouse is very conveniently located in a walkable neighborhood with restaurants and bars minutes away. The back of the house is adjacent to a cute and peaceful park. There is also great off street parking behind the house. The three bedrooms were perfect for our group, the showers were hot, and the kitchen perfectly functional. The interior has a few quirks with uneven floors and a steep, narrow staircase that could be challenging for some but fine for us. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Patricia and Guillaume’s home and the grounds are absolutely lovely. Huge floor to ceiling windows out to the large yard in back. Big kitchen, great patio for barbequing, amazing pool with all the chairs, loungers, and floaties you need. Ping pong, pool table, comfortable, super clean, and really felt like you were invited into someone’s special place. This home is even better than what the photos and listing describe. The hosts are friendly, helpful, gracious, and excellent communicators. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this apartment with our family of 6 (4 kids 2 adults). The building is a short 10 minute walk to the metro and was a great home base for us during our trip to DC. The beds were extremely comfortable, better than many hotels I have stayed in by far! Place was VERY clean. When we first arrived in March it was really hot and the heater was running. I realized that I could not switch to the AC because the building controls the heat or AC settings. We turned off the heat and I opened windows because it was cool outside. I was thinking about buying some fans for circulation but found 4 large fans in the coat closet, which was amazing and just what we needed! We set the fans up and the rest of our stay was very comfortable. There are also space heaters in the closet for very cold nights. Very thoughtfully laid out space and great communicative host. She also provides a guidebook that helps answer questions about the space and amenities.

Berhane was a very gracious host. He was easily reached. Quick check in.. Very quiet. Spacious porch. The area is beautiful, as is the home. It is five minutes from the Glenstone museum, which is open Thursdays through Sunday. It is about 20 minutes from Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historic Park. It snowed while I was there with my dog. It was as if the snow made the home and its surroundings more peaceful. We enjoyed our stay Berhane.

Julie's place in Crystal City was perfect for our family of five. Some of the highlights for us: Walkable and convenient to Metro, making DC city center, Arlington and the airport easy to access. The apartment was quiet and peaceful, with a patio overlooking a pretty courtyard great for winding down at night. The beds and pillows were super comfortable! Fun restaurants within walking distance, we especially enjoyed the "Water Works" food park and ice cream shops with our three kids. We appreciated thoughtful touches like laundry detergent, coffee, and plenty of clean extra linens. We have zero complaints! Julie was very responsive and helpful with local recommendations and the apartment was comfortable, welcoming and quiet. We highly recommend this special spot!

Great stay for a family reunion! We stayed here for a weekend so the grandparents could spend some time with their grandkids and this house was perfect! The kids loved the indoor pool. House was spacious for a pretty big group, kitchen is awesome for hanging out. There's a walking trail just outside the house that took us through some nice neighborhoods and had a couple great views of the lake. Joan was a great host - she gave us clear instructions for checking in and answered my questions very quickly during our stay. Thanks Joan!

Everything was beautiful and well put together, nothing was out of place. Everything was clean and not one question was left unanswered. Very easy to get what you need like the grocery store across the street (Wegmans) and you can get something to bite at any store/restaurant near you there is a movie theater as well. Hosts were able to answer very promptly, would highly recommend this spot in Alexandria.

Pros had everything we needed , very clean , very new , appreciated the attention to detail ! 7-11 across street and very good restaurant , (only had breakfast ) (Ruth’s all-day) nice little place ! Cons nice little place ! lol ! If your over 6’ you’ll have to watch your head in the living room , parking is small , so if you have a truck it’s not going to work , and the only inconvenience was the couch , it’s small and only seats two , Would stay again !

Jillian’s apartment was just what I needed for a quick stay in DC. The place was clean and had everything I needed. I didn’t do any cooking there but there was a nice coffee maker. Bed was comfortable and so was the TV room with a good couch. It is a basement apartment so there isn’t much in the way of windows or natural light, but I didn’t spend any time in the day there. Also keep in mind it is a solid 15-minute walk to the metro, so I ended up mostly getting an Uber to downtown (which was easy). Overall, a great spot for a short visit to DC!

From my first enquiry, Sarah was quick to respond and helpful. As I have mobility issues, I had questions about how accessible the unit was and if there was somewhere secure to park my mobility scooter. Sarah offered various options, including providing a lock and cover if needed. She also followed up shortly before our stay, as she had done some exterior work and wanted to make sure that the unit would still suit our needs. The unit is spotlessly clean with very comfortable bed & linens. It is in a charming quiet neighbourhood but close to a busy commercial area with shops, restaurants and subway station all very walkable but it is in a very hilly part of the city. Sarah procured a parking pass for us in advance & finding a spot was not an issue. There is a little noise from above, but nothing that you wouldn’t expect from a basement unit. Overall, the place was ideal.

Wonderful accommodations and very comfortable. Very tastefully decorated and charming!!! Loved the exposed brick walls!!! We were a block and a half from my son‘s apartment, which was perfect for a short visit with him and for enjoying what Columbia Heights has to offer. We will be back!!!

I attended a 4 day conference in the area. This air bnb location was great- plenty of restaurants and running trails in the area. Space was perfect for a single person. It is in the walk-out basement of the primary house. Noise from above was minimal. I cooked minimally and the kitchen had everything I needed. The laundry was really convenient and Amy provided detergent. Amy was a very responsive host.
