The stay here was perfection! It was secluded and relaxing. The inside was massive and provided so much space for activities. It was a great location to both go into traverse city, and go to surrounding wineries in suttons bay and near Lake Leelanau. There were tons of kitchen supplies to use and even a grill! It was a spotless and tidy place with games to play as well! We stayed in the winter and we weren’t bored for even a second. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

We had a lovely stay! The cottage was so cute and I just loved how they decorated it! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it every day! We decided to walk down to the beach through all the snow, would love to stay in the summer when we can actually go swimming!! Ate at Peegeos twice during our stay, so close and so good, get the cheesecake! So delicious and made from scratch! We will definitely be back!

The cottage was great, clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful location right on the river. It was clear that our host has put a lot of thought and effort into ensuring that guests enjoy their stay and we did. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Linda's place was everything we could have wanted and more. It was the perfect cozy cabin, so close to our planned activities, nice and quiet/peaceful, and well stocked with anything we could need. Linda was very understanding and a great host. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!

Kathleen was a very responsive and communicated well. Her place was exactly as described in the description. It was a very nice cabin, perfect for a couple families to enjoy themselves without being right on top of each other. The hot tub was especially nice after a long day on the ski hill! Would definitely stay here again in the future! Thanks for such a nice cabin and great experience!

this place was a perfect getaway. the area of down town traverse city is amazing even when it’s cold out. lots of restaurants and wineries to go try. the cabin itself was super cute and cozy but still a modern finish. the hot tub was amazing and made the cabin whole. i absolutely would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to travel to traverse city.

We loved this place! We took our 5 & 6 year olds for a spring break, weekend getaway and this was the perfect spot. They had everything you’d need ready to go, even some extras :) We were greeted with a goodie basket upon entrance!! Really enjoyed our stay here, thank you again Dan!!!

Melanie was so accommodating, very responsive. The place was amazing. Stocked so well! Very impressed. The location was awesome. I loved this place!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful and the house was very clean. The owner went above and beyond when I mentioned I couldn't find charcoal for the grill. They surprised us by dropping it off that day. What caring hosts! I was very impressed! They also had PLENTY of supplies for us (toilet paper, paper plates, detergent, hand soap, kleenex...etc) This isn't always the case with rental properties. My kids and I enjoyed the welcome snacks. They were fun surprises. The only thing I would mention is the shower is very small (as described in the property). I had a tough time shaving and brushing my hair in there. There is also no disposal or dishwasher. These were not listed in the amenities so this is no fault of the owner. It's just something I didn't think to look for in the property description. I will know to watch for it in the future.

Great place to stay, highly recommend! Have everything you could possibly need, super clean and host is very responsive and very nice. We will be back next hunting season!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We love the location and used this as a home base to explore Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, Leland, Traverse City and Boyne Mountain. The house was exactly what we needed! Everything was wonderful and they had everything we could need. Any time we had a question she responded quickly. I would absolutely recommend staying here and believe we will be back!

This air bnb was beautiful! It’s very private and on lots of land. My dogs loved running around!! There is a hiking trail right down the street that you can actually get to from the backyard. The host was very responsible and flexible, as we got snowed in and they offered us another night at a reduced price. There are hunters nearby so make sure to be safe with your dogs and wear the reflective jackets they provide if you’re exploring.

Jake's place was clean and comfortable. it is a good spot to stay if you're exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and the surrounding attractions.

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

Without a doubt, one of my favorite places to stay in Northern Michigan. It was my third time staying at the property & it just keeps getting better. It was a beautiful Winter weekend & the cabin/cottage was cozier than ever! My wife & I really appreciated some of the updated decor, features & amenities that Carolyn has added & provided for the space & guests stay. By far, a fantastic "home-base" for anyone visiting & exploring the Leelanau Peninsula. Will stay again, and again, and again, and again!

The cottage was exactly what was advertised and the pictures were accurate. The cottage was very warm, inviting and clean. We had a great time on the water and the location was great to go to other areas such as Traverse City as well. Very nice property!

Great little cottage. Loved the location and the proximity to town. Everything we needed. Will definitely return hopefully when it isn’t cold and rainy so I can enjoy the beautiful screened porch and nice yard/firepit.
