Booked this property for the last few weeks whilst working in the area and have had no issues. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We stayed here for my Dad’s birthday to climb some munro’s. It was a great location only 15 mins drive from aviemore with great restaurants. So many walking routes nearby, beaut surroundings. Loch Insh is on your doorstep with lots of activities to do there. Linda’s place was lovely, it had everything you needed and very tastefully decorated with plenty of space for a group. A wonderful highland experience. Would absolutely stay again, thank you so much!

I stayed about a month and travelled around a bit. It's a good location the weather is a little more dry and sunny in this area compared to the surroundings. If you need a minimalist spot to stay while in the highlands or passing through this is a good location. There are lots of places within the close vicinity to a hour each way depending on what you are looking to do. Very easy to get to and in and out of with a local shop and market a few blocks down. Host was super nice and communicative and the facilities were perfect for my needs whilst I stayed.

Loved our recent stay here. It had all the facilities you could wish for and we even made use of the board games. Wonderful wood burning fire and stunning views in a fantastic location. We can't wait to go back again.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

This cottage truly is off the grid. The owner Tilly had to drive us there from Tomintoul 15 min drive. No other house in sight. Just pure hilly countryside with about 100 deers hanging out in the field in front of us. Amazing peaceful place with outstanding views. No WiFi but liked that. Good 4g reception and digital terrestrial TV with a DVD player and choice of DVDs. We made good use of the hot tub daily and the sauna and even braved the plunge pool a few times which has fresh water from the mountains. Quite refreshing. We did a couple of day trips to Loch Ness 90 min and G2 adventure 50 min away. Local village Tomintoul has a nice village shop with amenities and pubs and restaurants. A restful idyllic place and good value for money.

Great base for exploring the area. Modern kitchen/bathroom, very well kitted out with anything you could need. Lots of nice places to eat within a short walk - we recommend The Bothy for breakfast/lunch.

A wonderful cottage in an excellent location! The cottage has a great selection of kitchen equipment and utensils, a relaxing lounge with games galore, if you wish, all you need for your stay. The bed was so comfortable which makes such a difference as you get older 🫣 My husband, myself and our two labs had a superb break! We loved the welcome from those that stayed in Seatown too. Beautiful location with kind and generous hosts. A great cultural experience with incredible scenery!

Stayed for 3 nights with my dog. Holmhead exceeded my expectations and I felt instantly at home. The location is superb and perfect for exploring the Cairngorms or even just stepping outside the front door and being in the forest. The cottage is extremely well equipped for its size and I found a few things, for guests use, that I wasn't quite expecting, (hot water bottles :) ). The brand new electric heating is very effective and the log burner is 'ferocious', but definitely a must when temperatures were below freezing. Cat is a very gracious, accommodating and genial host. I would definitely stay here again and recommend thoroughly.

Home away from home - super comfortable and Amanda has thought of all the extras to make it cosy and enjoyable. Excellent location for Drumochty castle and surrounding areas.

We had a great stay on our trip to visit friends in Aberdeen. Peter and Angela were great hosts, giving good suggestions for activities with kids like the science centre and innoflate which were 5 minutes away at the beachfront. The apartment was well stalked and spacious, ideal for our small kids. Peter even obliged with getting a new remote control for the TV as a replacement for one that was on the way out We would definitely stay again on future trips

We found the location and facilities of Lisa and Martins cottage to be superb. The cozy cottage is within walking distance to all of the local shops, pubs and restaurants but is still very quiet. We had delicious meals at the Clachan Grill and Balmoral Arms. Cottage is stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean with a beautiful garden area which the dogs loved. We found everything we needed for a great stay, Martin gave us some really useful tips on things to do and see in the area. Loved it here, the scenery in and around Ballater is breath taking ! Wonderful hosts, would recommend this cottage to anyone. Would book again !

Fantastic wee cottage in a perfect location. very quiet but not too far from a number of beaches and towns and villages with everything you may need. Very friendly and informative hosts.

I had a wonderful few days here with my husband and kids aged between 4 and 14. The house is beautiful, clean, well maintained and in an excellent location. It had everything we could need for our stay, and some! I only wish we had longer to visit. We would love to stay here again.

The photos do not do this place justice, its even better when your inside, the views of the sea are absolutely stunning, the apartment was spotless and very comfortable also private and safe parking, really enjoyed our stay while visiting a friend. we delayed over Chtistmas. It was a warm and toasty place to snuggle down with family. lovely peaceful environmentment , there's a waterfall nr by, a distillery that offers tours and samples, and a walk to the farm shop for local produce. A longer stretch is the small town of Aberlour resting below with more choices and cafes. loved the good deli. Hot water, comfortable beds, small fire place all added to our wonderful and memorable stay! Thank you Karen, hope to return.

Had a lovely stay at the house, it provided everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The location was great and within walking distance of all amenities. we needed. We would definitely return.

Sheila is an excellent hostess with a strong attention to details and clear communication. The booking was incredibly easy and informative with information on local areas to visit.

Ideally located in Central Forres with all local amenities easily accessed. House is clean, well equipped and great for a couple or lone traveller and is in a quiet pedestrian area just off the High Street.

Lovely flat, great location. Easy to find with very good directions. Very handy for city centre, and a 20-25 walk to West End. I didn't try the gym, but I'll do that next time. Begona was very helpful with any questions I had. Will definitely stay again.
