Such a beautiful and cozy cottage! Lovely woodlands walk right by the cottage for the dog and Ayr and Troon beach are only a 20-30min drive away. The garden is not fully enclosed but was able to tie the dog to his long lead and let him roam the garden. Will definitely be back!

This place is really great. The perfect setting to relax and unwind. You want to make the best of the amazing walks and visit all the surrounding coastal villages but you definitely will want to make sure you spend time back at the house on the hill.

A fabulous stay, perfect for two. From the moment of booking, Ainslie was very quick to respond, her directions were excellent. The Old Dairy was very quirky with everything you could need provided, lots of lovely touches to make it very homely. For us we particularly loved the wood burner and the hot tub (My husband wasn’t sure about using the hot tub, but when he saw how immaculate it was, changed his mind). We were impressed with the internet, using star link it provided a very good connection. The weather was beautiful while we were there and we almost wished it wasn’t as we didn’t want to go anywhere with Netflix and an ultra HD large television, I thought providing movie pick and mix was a very thoughtful touch. Most impressive of all was Ainslie who was a perfect host we were greeted with handshake and went home with a hug. 🥰

Had a great time, Laura and family were very helpful with a minor hiccup one evening. Great venue family loved it. Good location for day trips including Loch Lomond and Royal Yacht.

This cottage was in a lovely quiet little village just a 3 minute walk to the main town. I could not fault this accommodation! It was beautiful done out and even had a hot tub for an extra bonus. The hosts were second to none and they made you feel at home. They recommended local places to eat and things to do. If you had any problems, they were happy to help! The accommodation was literally a 10 minute walk to Loch leven and it's so peaceful. All the locals were very friendly and you've got to try the fish shop and stove pizzas! Perfect house for our girly weekend away. Incredibly peaceful and great walks nearby. The instructions that Dina sent through by text were great and meant even finding her place in the dark was really easy which was fab as we were all tired after work and being able to find this gorgeous place without any issue was needed.Really beautifully situated and feels really private. Lovely neighbours who checked in as they were out delivering wood but were really respectful of our privacy. Hot tub was lovely, really clean and super warm.Was private enough that you didn’t feel overlooked as we sat out but still able to sit and look out over the lovely view of Perthshire.Really responsive host who was really quick to message back if there was anything I wanted to double check. Well stocked house with the basics of milk and what not in the fridge and toileries in the bathroom which was really handy and not standard at all places.Fab wee gem if you want a restful weekend away. Would go back.

It was a great place- in terms of its location, access to the two cities (Edinburgh and Glasgow), the space, amenities, serenity, a wonderful host (who pleasantly surprised you several times during the stay), pets around (there are many including two farm cats which are wild and adorable), bikes to make short rides around, a fully equipped kitchen, a jacuzzi in the open and place to have fire outside. It’s all pros and would love to go back again!

Super logement , cocooning comme nous le souhaitions! Accès à Édimbourg relativement rapide. Attention aux instructions d’entrée, car le tri sélectif en Écosse n’est pas le même que le nôtre en France .. beaucoup plus poussé ce qui est un bon point pour l’environnement . J’ai fais par réflexe comme en France ce qui m’a value à juste titre un message D’Ali . Si je devais repartir en Écosse sans hésitation je reprendrais le même logement .. le SPA avec vue c’est un bonheur!

Lovely quiet spot and the house was everything we wanted.

Anne’s place is a great find—well-provisioned, cosy, quiet, and spotlessly clean. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. Anne went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, offering a flexible check-in and surprising us with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, chocolate, and a great selection of coffees and teas. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the sofa provided a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Limekilns itself is a charming village with a friendly atmosphere and scenic coastal views. There are excellent options for eating and drinking, whether you’re in the mood for a cosy pub meal or something a little more refined. It’s easy to see why this would be such a wonderful place to live, and we would love to return in the future.

Fantastic stay at Boot cottage, great location to explore around the area including Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Dundee. Some lovely and thoughtful touches when we arrived too for us and our dog Lottie. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time at Libby’s. We used this location as a central landing place after exploring around St Andrew’s, Stirling, Falkirk, Culross. We felt well taken care of and appropriately checked in on. It was a very cosy stay!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Perfect Stay! This countryside cottage in Scotland was everything I could have hoped for and more! It was private, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning scenery—exactly what I was looking for. I loved it so much that I ended up extending my trip! One of the highlights for me was getting to check off a bucket list item—spending time with Highland cows right on the property. Such an unforgettable experience! The cottage itself was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were incredibly friendly and responsive, making the experience even better. If you're looking for a serene escape in the Scottish countryside, I highly recommend this place. I’m absolutely obsessed with everything about my stay and can’t wait to return!

This is a lovely cottage , very well equipped and lovely furniture Two bathrooms iwere reat and the log fire was perfect Good beds good storage space nice linen The crockeru is lovely and there were bits n bobs in the cupboard for cookin and also dishwasher tablets and fairy liquid The situation is also lovely with good walks to St Monans in ne direction and Elie to the other Chris also successfully ordered the sunshine so we could sit in the garden and wee sun house this cottage is a great find, we loved it

Just had a fab long weekend staying at The Anchorage. its a lovely cottage, really well presented and very close to the sea front (literally a stone's throw!) and a nice easy walk along the front to parks and the main Carnoustie beach. in addition to the Coop, train station and other shops etc. Would recommend the Station Hotel for a drink, very dog friendly. Rhona was extremely communicative and helpful. All in all I would highly recommend!

Wow where do I start , the cottage is beautiful warm and cosy , extremely clean , felt right at home , well equipped, everything you need , want to live there 😀

We were in Elie for 2 nights and the Cupboard was great for a short stay as we ate out both nights. Although exceptionally well equipped for such a short space it would have been difficult to cook. due to the lack of workspace. The design of the space is exceptional for the size of the space and the wood burner kept us lovely and cosy. There are 5 beds all together but it would have been a challenge having more than the 2 of us and our wee dog. We love Elie and will be back and it's very likely that we will use Short Stay St Andrews again.

Beautiful cozy cottage, we absolutely loved our stay. Duncan was such an amazing host, offering us a very warm welcome as well as detailed local recommendations for our stay. They provided some much appreciated basics of bread, butter, milk, and eggs, as well as coffee and tea. The place was clean and very cozy. Thank you for such an amazing place to stay!

A great stay - spotlessly clean accommodation in a beautiful, peaceful area

I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. It’s magical. Everything about it is just right. The location is beyond beautiful and the cottage nestles happily in the peace and quiet of this little hamlet where you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Go see for yourselves and fall under its spell. It’s so worth it.

We had a lovely three day stay in this very cute, comfortable and cosy cottage. It has a beautiful location and is well located for exploring Fife. The cottage is very well equipped and they even provided delicious fresh bread. Many thanks.

Ellen had great communication and made sure that everything was in place for our trip as we were catering a Christmas dinner cooked by chef. The ample furniture was such a bonus and it was very comfortable. The location is stunning so much so that whilst on my stay there I decided to put in an offer on a property around the corner to live out my retirement there!!!!! What can I say about this cottage? Outstanding, absolutely beautiful it has everything you would ever need. The cottage is very clean and well laid out. Lynda is the best host so responsive at all times and sometimes proactive. We had a power cut after the recent storm, Lynda offered to move me to a hotel or another cottage. I decided to stay and put up with the power outage which was really cosy with candles burning and the log fire lit. The real lovely surprise is when you turn off the road down the track to the cottage and you see the Loch which you cross a causeway to get the cottage, amazing. It’s a place I definitely want to return to return to for a holiday. So thank you for letting me use your amazing place Lynda I hope to stay again 👍
